This last order was an absolute grease bomb (gross, filmy, make you run to the bathroom). I had the Chilaquiles del chef (typically a slab of carne comes a top the chips rice and beans - today I received a third of that - pictured). Wife had the Sofia crepes, not sure if the oil was in the batter or cooked with but this was probably the worst. Inedible and sent both of us directly to the bathroom. Bacon, sausages and potatoes seemed to be deep fried.. more gross oil. Again, we love this place but this was so bad I had to review. It'll take some time before we try come back after this exp.

Even on a Saturday morning about 10:30 am there were lots of tables available. The inside is a casual diner, nothing fancy. They have outside seating also. We were immediately greeted by a friendly server who told us to sit wherever and they take our orders. There were two very friendly servers working this morning, they helped each other out and were efficient. They both love the food here and enjoy serving the creative creations of the owner/chef. I also find her regular menu choices and her vegan menu very creative. She makes cinnamon rolls every day, regular and vegan. We ordered one regular to go. Eat them while they are warm. They do sell out. I ordered the peach waffles, they had peach in the batter and greasy stewed peaches on top. They were so sweet you did not need syrup, this was not a light waffle but still delicious. I was told she changes her waffle flavors once a month. My husband got a hangover cure, tater tots topped with homemade gravy and eggs. The tots were piping hot and crunchy, the gravy was so delicious! Oh yummy! We look forward to returning to this establishment.

They have umbrellas to keep you shaded. Our server was Dallas and he was great! Very personable and helpful with menu items and explaining them. Our group had poke nachos and beet salad for appetizers. Both were excellent and a must try. Our dishes were California burger, truffle burger, turkey blt sandwich and the Ruben. Everyone was happy with each entree we got. Fresh ingredients, the burgers were solid. The crème brûlée was excellent too. The nutmeg on top worked so well with it. Will definitely be trying again and can't wait to try other dishes.
