This place is definitely an improvement over the egg and I. Weekday breakfast / brunch is tough to find in this area, so I think it's entirely possible that I would come back. I can't think of anything else in the area that serves this same function, maybe Panera. Can we get a Snooze up in the NW?? The decor and staff friendliness get 5 stars. It does the rustic farmhouse vibe well, even down to the brown kraft paper menu. But I tend to rate based on taste, then value. And the food was not tasty on this first visit. I will probably be back, so I hope to update this with a higher star rating. The menu looked promising, with trendy combinations and ingredients. They have a kids menu available. I ordered a frittata, which came with toasted bread. The frittata was overcooked and dry. The toast was slathered with butter and so salty that I couldn't finish it. But.... This location has previously been 5 stars but todays visit was less than desirable. Started out with a longer than 30 min wait which is too be expected on a Sunday morning, however I made the reservation online and it said 15-20 min wait. It took 12 min to drive there so it should have been close to having a table ready. But no you need to check in once you get there and the wait time starts then. So don't get your hopes up with online reservation. Once we seated it was a good 10 min before anyone came to the table. I ordered coffee which tasted burnt which I'm sure it wasn't burnt nor old with the amount of coffee pots coming out of the kitchen. They were busy so the food took a while to get out, that's understandable. My scrambled eggs were almost under cooked. When we were finishing our meal my son asked for a glass of water (which it isn't automatically given to the tables are we under water restrictions??) it took so long to get it we ended up leaving. I like the food and the restaurant so I will be back but it probably won't be my first pick. read more

This is a top notch location of First Watch Better then the one on Anderson Lane Inside is very nice and very large where they can seat a lot of people and they have a community table i believe it is called that it is first come first serve or if they have room to seat you then you are permitted to sit in that area We both ordered the Bacado Omelete it comes with salad you can do potatoes but you got to request potatoes if you forget to say it they will accomodate and give you the potatoes as a substitute the staff is very nice and accomadating and the prices is a little high but the food is quite good they just open for Breakfast and Brunch / Lunch hours as it is a "Daytime" Cafe" read more

Incredibly disappointing to show up here with my best friend for the first time and see fire trucks and police cars. Unfortunately we were not able to eat here because a fire alarm went off and it was unclear exactly what happened from what we were told! We were told they were unsure of what time they would be able to serve food. I don't know about you, but I was glad to see the Egg and I had been replaced so I went to check out the offerings at First Watch. The menu looked appealing with lots of healthy options and lots of not so healthy options. I decided to go with the avocado toast, which boasted a squeeze of lemon, eggs and thick multigrain bread. The avocado was abundant, but sort of had a preservative laden taste to it and the sunny side up eggs were on the plate, not on top, like I had imagined. There was a lemon wedge included, so I guess the squeeze was to be provided by me, which was fine. The breakfast was okay, no better than mediocre. The avocado could have been seasoned and improved with maybe some pickled red onion or capers or roasted pepitas for crunch, but I wouldn't deduct from the review for things that are my preference only. I will deduct for the exceedingly slow service and the off taste of the avocado. It should never take fifteen minutes and a member of your party asking, for someone to bring water and acknowledge your presence. I'd give First Watch a second look (see what I did there), but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it. read more

First time here and will be back. I had the elevated egg sandwich and it was a tasty one. I loved everything about the sandwich. I ordered everything it comes with, didn't change a thing. We ordered the million dollar bacon as an appetizer. We loved it the bacon. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and she was in love. If First Watch was a terrorist prevention program or a training program for stern headmasters, the service would make more sense. This was my first visit to First Watch. While it does seem more hipster/modern, it was very casual and a fun place to enjoy breakfast. My only complaint was that when they first sat us at our table, the water glasses that are already placed had finger prints and lip stains on them. Without asking our waitress brought us new glasses so that was very good service. It was still a little gross to see that first when sitting down. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. It was hard to just choose one thing. I got the traditional breakfast with over easy eggs and bacon. The plate comes with two slices of whole grain toast, strawberry jam, and potatoes. The eggs came out perfect. The other items ordered at my table was the avocado toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. What a great place for the breakfast/brunch! The wait was totally worth it. The food is properly cooked, not too greasy and nutritious. There are plenty of option for both vegetarians, vegan and meat eaters. Also, the "healthier side" menu has really good options! It then proceeds to get way too crowded in the front of the store with people waiting to not get seated. Then customers finish their meals and go to the front to pay and add to the crowd. Of course they stand around for 10-15 minutes trying to give the business their money. Awful system. Oh yeah. One time we were here and a table busser or food runner or something said "get out" under his breath as he walked behind us. We had a bit of a wait. But as mentioned by others we could have probably reduced the wait if we had used the app to get in line earlier. And as someone mentioned, the tables don't get cleared fast enough to seat people fast. Also, there was just one guy who was checking people in, seating them, and also handling the register. All this tells me that they don't have enough staff to make things easier and faster for customers. I have never understood why restaurants want you to pay at the register after you have eaten, instead of letting the wait staff handle that. Perhaps is saves on waiting staff? I think it is inconvenient for customers. It is another line the customer has to stand in. Our waiter was excellent. The waiter did forget to transfer one of our orders to the cooking staff. So, we had to remind him of it. It came late. But they gave it to us for free. We had ordered so much that it did not matter - we were going to take food home anyway. The food was superb!! On a fellow Yelper's recommendation, we ordered the Morning Meditation and Rainbow Toast. They were delicious! We also ordered the Multigrain blueberry, Lemon Ricotta pancakes, the Morning Market Veg, and the Skillet Hash Market. Yes, all that stuff for just the two of us. We took half of it home :-). Everything was excellent!! Only one slight complaint -- we don't like lemon. Would prefer an alternative for the Ricotta pancakes. The food was great. The timing to get our food order in and to get the food took longer than expected. Harper was our server, and we thought the interaction was pleasant, but we aren't sure if we offended her. (We don't recall any action, or any words that would have offered offense). But for some reason another employee had to take our order, a different employee brought our food. Harper checked in to see how the food was but otherwise didn't interact with us. I LOVE this place! I'm here all the time with my boyfriend, the servers know us and are always kind and friendly. I've never experienced bad service here. Agraciana today was awesome, and Sam and Hayley are always a pleasure to see other times we're here! The food is always delicious, if I can't find a special I like on their seasonal menu I'll go with the Floridian French Toast. Last time I was hungover so I tried their sunrise granola bowl (?) from the Healthier side of the menu and it came with a yummy freshly baked muffin of the day that hit the spot! Today I tried the Hacienda Hash on the winter menu. Props to the designers of that btw, I wanna try everything on it which wasn't really the case with the fall menu. The hash was sooo good, a little sweet, a little spicy, even without avocado and sour cream the egg yolk made it moist enough to eat! I always get a side of the whole grain wheat toast too-- so good and they sell it by the loaf for only $7. I totally recommend this place to anybody who wants breakfast or brunch on a weekday. They need to get their timing better for restaurants. Checked in online and said we'd be seated in 35-40 minutes. We were seated in over 50. When we finally got seated and had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes. I just never appreciate a long wait just because I'm a young adult. There were at least 8 tables open around us and people were leaving because they were told there was over an hour wait. I've driven by here with my boyfriend a few times and we finally got around to trying it. I'm so glad we did! We were seated immediately, and we ordered their coffee -- which is fair trade from Colombia! The coffee was good and their menu had a lot of really good options. They had a great selection of omelettes but we went with the French toast and farmhouse skillet. I ate the farmhouse skillet and they had perfectly cooked, good size potatoes, perfectly cooked over medium eggs, and it also came with fresh fruit. Love this place and will definitely be back! Ok, my husband and I cannot remember the last time we ate out for breakfast and actually enjoyed the meal. These days pretty much anytime you eat out it seems there's something wrong with the experience. Either the food isn't good or prepared properly or the service isn't attentive or knowledgeable. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't have to look for her at any point. She was always there when we needed her but didn't come around too much to bother us. And then there's the food... I ordered Turkey sausage and gravy biscuits with scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. First of all good luck finding turkey sausage gravy! My Husband and I do not eat pork and that is not necessarily something that is supported or celebrated in any restaurant especially at breakfast time. However they offer it here along with many other healthy alternative choices including the fresh pressed juice selections. I had the kale version and it was delicious! It was so good I actually ordered one of their fresh juices to go to take home. My husband had homemade waffle scrambled eggs and cheese and turkey sausage.. Like I said we both cleaned our plate!
