This place, which I had never heard of, was stumbled upon by chance. I was so happy to see the choices on the menu! There are many options, which range from traditional to healthy/lighter options, covered many of my, "food moods". I got the frittata and my son got chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was delicious! The ingredients were fresh and pure (100% maple syrup!). Everything was presented, nicely. I loved having my own pot of coffee at the table.....nice touch! The service was good. I'll be back! This restaurant is always busy, so I was happy to discover the wait list on Yelp. We only waited 10 minutes to be seated after arriving. Since I avoid eggs and dairy breakfast was difficult. Avocado toast without egg is a go to, but I wasn't a fan of First Watch's recipe. It had way too much lemon juice that it unnecessarily overwhelmed the avocado. I ordered a side of bacon and it was full of grease. It would have been great if they could have at least blotted it before putting it on the plate. I personally wouldn't go back because of the limited options for my food restrictions. read more

Portions are also descent, will recommend to try the humongous pancakes, they are fantastic. The only downside of this place is the hosts. Never ever get to go food from here. It's always cold and soggy. Staff didn't seem to be very bothered that our order was supposed to ready at 10:45a. I showed up at 10:50a and it wasn't ready. The guy at the cashier said he'd text me when it was done. By 11:20 no text so I went back in and it was sitting on the Togo table. I asked how long it's been there and the hostess said over 19min. We are hoping we going to find a late breakfast restaurant near us. We are disappointed. The coffee is bland. The waitress took 30 minutes to serve us cold water since we just came in from outside 98 degrees. The blueberry pancakes is a good size and flavor is ok and fluffy. Our favorite is the banana pancake. But our chorizo omelet only had 2 small pieces of chorizo in it. We told our waitress about it and she didn't respond. No apology or anything. Stopped in for brunch today under there "grand reopening/rebranding" weekend. ( formerly egg & I ) The staff was super friendly and plentiful! I tried there features Summer smash which is a strawberry lemonade with a sprig of basil. Which was refreshing but a little overprice at $4 a cup. Also the table shared the Million $ bacon which was right on the money! I could have eaten that all day. So many items looked delicious I had a hard time deciding. Finally settling on the elevated breakfast sandwich: egg, bacon , cheese and arugula on a soft bun topped with mashed avacodos. It was on point! Good place for brunch or breakfast. They have multiple options for multiple eating lifestyles. The morning meditation juice tasted fresh and delicious and the same is true for the kale tonic. This trip had solid service from the wait staff. Normally there is a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning but the austin water boil may have crowds away. They even "imported" coffee from the round rock location. Easy choice when many people are trying to decide on a brunch spot last minute. read more

My husband and I always come here but because today is Father's day weekend we decided to use the Yelp check-in. I waited an hour and I was constantly checking to see the parties ahead of me and I saw progress but when it was at two parties I saw a lot of people getting tables ahead of me....!!? Pregnant and hungry this made very upset!!! What's the point of checking in online if you need to check in with the host anyway??? We expected to go to the egg and I and were pleasantly surprised at the new decor and updated menu. The Egg &I was bought out by First Watch Inc. I ordered the farmers hash with roasted onions, turkey sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, kale, over potatoes, topped with eggs your way, hollandaise sauce and goat cheese crumbles. It was so flavorful. My husband had a bacon omelette topped with avocado, potatoes and an english muffin. He enjoyed the coffee and I had an orange juice. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The decor had a barn look with Edison light bulbs and some Texas touches. Overall Im giving this place 5 stars because of the great food, excellent service, food came out quick and I like the new look. I would recommend this place. read more

Just moved back to Cedar Park and decided to check this place out last weekend. I usually try to judge chain's like this by their coffee when I'm having breakfast and theirs is pretty good. The menu was pretty extensive for breakfast but included the traditional favorites like pancakes, waffles, etc. Not gonna lie the carrot cake pancakes sounded pretty good-next time back I think those will be a must try. I was healthy(ish) this time around though and settled on the AM Power Bowl. For the price the portion was pretty generous in my opinion, I couldn't finish it all. It was a coconut chia yogurt with generous portions of granola and assorted fresh fruits. Very tasty for sure. It also came with a side of wheat toast and almond butter which was also good. My other half had the French toast which he said was pretty good. I took a bite and it was good, not anything completely overwhelming but still tasty. If you're up in the area I think it's definitely worth a visit, service was friendly -and for a every once in a while thing it won't break the bank which is always nice. read more

A nicer atmosphere than The Egg and I. I haven't experienced a wait but have gone early each time. The wait staff have been friendly and fairly prompt. However, there have been less than welcoming hostesses. My wish is that they were more generous to those with food sensitivities. Many restaurants will sub a gluten free item for the side of toast and not charge extra. Here, where it's already higher prices, the toast comes off and it's a full price addition for a substitution. (Their call to make, I get it). I appreciate having a breakfast option but wish it were less expensive. read more

Brought my kiddos here for a breakfast. The place only had a few people there so there wasn't any sort of wait. The place looks real nice with what they remodeled. The menu seems to have a lot of great healthy options, but no specified gluten free options or menu. I went ahead and tried the works omelet and my kiddos had the half waffle. The omelet was really good. Lots of flavor and stuff in the middle. It was served with some sort of green salad and a vinegarrette. The kids breakfast also looked very good as the half waffle was huge and it came with a meat. While everything was great, the prices to me, are just a bit expensive. Cons- I had to ask the waiter for water (my companion had gotten there first and so he ordered a hot chocolate and there was a carafe of coffee on the table), the turkey sausage patty is a but thin/lackluster, and there are no heaters for the patio.
