We have been to many First Watches in multiple cities and this location was by far the worst. The food was okay but the staff had one speed - snail slow. The person in charge of cleaning the tables was more concerned about adjusting his headphones than making tables available to patrons. This considerably backed up the wait time. The food took forever to make it to our table. I've never had this happen at a First Watch. It was evident that the staff would rather be somewhere else that at their job today!! read more

My wife and I had breakfast at First Watch in Bentonville, AR at the Walton Avenue location on 2/7/2021. Let me say it's a decent restaurant, if not overpriced. I ordered the "Classic Eggs Benedict" without reading the description, because ...well everyone knows what Classic Eggs Benedict is. Except for First Watch. It is not supposed to be an interpretation of Eggs Benedict if it says "CLASSIC". CLASSIC BENEDICT - First Watch version: Two poached cage-free eggs atop toasted ciabatta piled high with smoked ham and vine-ripened tomato and covered with hollandaise. ACTUAL CLASSIC EGGS BENEDICT: Eggs Benedict: toasted English muffin, topped with a slice or two of Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and smothered in traditional Eggs Benedict Hollandaise sauce. Can I please request that if you market this as "Classic" ...you follow that "Classic" recipe? 1. Please cook your eggs right. They are not supposed to be hard-boiled. My eggs were cooked throughout, not runny at all. 2. Skip the tomatoes. They are out of place and you'll save the expense. 3. Please use Canadian Bacon. Not Smoked Deli Ham. 4. Ciabatta? Sounds fancy, but it is TOO spongy. It's like a 6 inch half of a sandwich roll. PLEASE USE AN ENGLISH MUFFIN. 5. Hollandaise was ok. A Little thin a little more lemon than usual. Please? I won't order it again if it stays that way. We brought home the fried potatoes and ham and will re-purpose it in some eggs at home. I Left the ciabatta on the plate with the hollandaise. Ate my two $11 + hard boiled eggs. We would have ordered the skillet meal.. but last time it was way overloaded with potatoes. Maybe add an egg and cut the potatoes. Was quite pleased with the Bentonville First Watch. Service was good, food was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. Would have been a five star rating,but for the lighting. A wall of windows tends to flood in and overwhelm lighting fixtures and slightly blinding those facing the windows. Tint or blinds/curtains would help out. read more

Omelettes are very flat, bacon seems microwaved, one person in the group was served 15 minutes before everybody else. They had run out of some items on their menu like biscuits. It took 10 minutes to get silverware and napkins. toast was served with butter already saturated on it. Food was very bland without much seasoning or flavor. Quality was similar to ihop. It took 35 minutes for food to begin arriving to the table from the time our breakfast order was placed, there was only four other tables with people in the entire restaurant. Servers were arguing with each other as to who should be clearing tables. Overall disappointing for this area. read more

I've tried to like their food and their service on many occasions. I've given several menu options a try and was consistently disappointed. Their scrambled eggs don't need cilantro, they already don't get cooked well by them. For some reason they like to give uncooked potatoes, and not even provide hash browns as a substitute. I had to stop ordering those items a long time ago. Even if you do find another meal that comes with oatmeal and a blueberry muffin that you actually can tolerate, they stop making the muffins you like. I've come in to their restaurant every Wednesday for 4 months. I have not been able to get a blueberry muffin in 5 weeks because all they have when I get there (at 8am) is the chocolate muffins. I'm done coming to this place. They advertise needing a little 'yelp'- at least they know one thing. They aren't doing well and need reviews. Here's some pointers: stop making weird eggs, cook the potatoes, buy coffee that doesn't taste like cardboard, and MAKE SOME BLUEBERRY MUFFINS. The servers are great but the management is mediocre. Oh and the turnover rate for their employees is a huge indicator that management is lacking. One server has left to work at buttered biscuit. When people put in a reservation for 7+ people and a baseball team of 20 walks in on Mother's Day and makes the wait for people over an hour and a half is annoying. This restaurant was listed as one of the best places in NW Arkansas for gluten free breakfasts. The only thing that might have suggested it was gluten free was they served Udi's gluten free toast. The food looked good, but was very disappointing. The food was so bland, several packets of salt and pepper were needed but didn't help. It was also cold. We had to ask for pico 3 times (and wave someone down) before it was brought. Water was promised but never arrived (we got drinks and didn't follow up either, but when those were gone we had nothing). There was a piece of bacon in my plate with the potatoes and we specifically said we were vegetarian. I'm still hungry but couldn't even stomach any more. The tables around us had water pitchers and water glasses, but not our table. Hot tea was served without tea plates, so my I gave my daughter my spoon to rest the tea bag.
