Ugh, what a disappointment. I have been going to First Watch for years and it's never been a disappointment; today was a shock. I work in the restaurant business, I understand what it's like. Camila from the get go was rude. No hi, no how are you just a "coffee?" Then just looked at us like come on order. Then my friend asked what the muffin flavor was and Camila literally looked at her sideways and gave attitude. As I'm sitting here writing this, I'm drinking water out of a coffee cup because Camila didn't bring me anything else to drink out of. I have seen the server in the section next to Camila laughing with her tables and being a good server. Camila, I don't know you and I don't know what you're going through but don't judge a book by it's cover and any problems you may encounter before, during, or after work don't let them affect your work ethic. I don't understand why this place gets four stars. This place is very OVERRATED. The service was alright, the manager was rude but other than that it was fine. The food is healthy but it is so mediocre. It's like hotel food at the Marriott Courtyard. I got the pancake with a plain omelette. They both lacked any taste. I really enjoy their food. The wait is never long and the service is great. To be honest, my favorite thing is their coffee! Most diner-esque places, to me, have terrible coffee! We went to to two First Watches while we were In Florida. My husband and I shared a great omelette and the lemon ricotta pancakes during the first visit, and when we wanted another healthy breakfast and went again the next day. We ordered the power granola bowl and an egg sandwich on Brioche which were both really good too. The multi-grain toast was good enough the first day that we ordered it as a side again the second visit. I have never received such mediocre service in my life. The waitress was garbage. She sat us down and she didn't even say her name. Then I noticed that one of the cup had lipstick on it. I asked her to changed it and to check the other cups. She became nasty and told me that they will just wash the other one. We waited 20 minutes and then she came back. At that point, we ordered coffee and tea and told her that we would like the bill. She told me in a rude and nasty way " nan you're good, have great day." I use to go there all the time. First off, I knew there would be a wait. We didn't wait very long, only about 20 minutes or so. Once we were seated, we were rushed along from the minute we sat down, until it was time to leave. I hadn't even looked at the menu, and our server was asking if we were ready to eat. After telling her we needed a bit more time, she left, and came back in less than 2 minutes asking if we were ready yet. By the 3rd time she came, we were ready to order. Our food came out fast and hot. Food was good, all with the exception of the greens that I ordered with my omelette. They were supposed to be lightly dressed. I had asked for dressing after my food arrived. It wasn't as good as when I got the last time I dined. The potatoes that were served on my son's plate tasted like they were left over from the day before. But otherwise, he loved his breakfast. I had noticed that every table but ours, had a carafe of water. Our table had empty glasses, and no carafe of water. It wasn't until she placed the check on the table, and said I'm not rushing you, I just want to put this here, oh and by the way, would you like some ice water? I've never felt so rushed to eat in any place I've ever been to. Normally I'm complaining that we wait too long, but i am the type of person who doesn't get up the minute I finish a meal. The food is very good, but the coffee is terrible! Not sure how people think it's good. I've mentioned it on several occasions and some servers couldn't believe I don't like it, others say they stop in to Dunkin' Donuts before going to work to get their coffee. read more

This restaurant offers several optional breakfast and brunch food options, different than the norm. Adds some variety, to the numerous standard Jewish deli's in the area, and hotel brunch buffets. My favorite is their breakfast Chimichanga made with eggs, two meats, two cheese, fresh chunks of pepper onions and more, topped with a special sauce. Often busy, but the wait is worth it if you want something and a bit different. I often go about noon, and am seated right away. The amount of food offered, for the price, seems reasonable.
