I travel extensively for work. I tried this restaurant last week for the first time and I was soooo happy I did. Great food and great atmosphere! I felt comfortable as soon as I stepped inside the front door. And the server was extremely helpful in pointing me toward a great meal. The menu was plentiful in so many choices for a breakfast that breaks free from the hum-drum selections offered by other places. This food was healthy and fresh...and I loved it ! read more

Went on a whim on a Friday morning and was seated right away. I love the variety of the menu, you can get breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I got the bacon and avocado omelette with egg whites and potatoes with an english muffin which was delicious. My brother got pancakes and loved them. The food was ok. The seasoned potatoes that came with the traditional breakfast had an extremely bizarre off-putting flavor. After two tastes I pushed them to the far side of the plate and didn't eat any more of them. My over easy eggs were a bit over cooked. The sausages didn't have much flavor. First Watch is always a hit or miss. The menu has a great selection of breakfast/lunch choices. The pancakes are the best. My biggest problem is consistency. For the most part I always order the same few items, and they will either be prepared well or there will be something wrong. Another issue that TOTALLY grossed me out is how they clean the tables. The turn over time is fast which is great for all the customers waiting, but the tables are not being cleaned properly. The bus boy moves all the dirty dishes to one side of the table and begins to clean the other half. (They use a white rag with NO cleaning spray) They start putting the clean dish ware on the table and put all the dirty dishes onto a tray. At this point they clean the other half of the table and arrange the cups nicely. So, your clean cups are being placed onto a half dirty table. (GROSS!) Also, that same white rag is being used to clean multiple tables AND chairs. Talk about germs being spread everywhere!!! That's why the places smells like dirty, wet rags. read more

My wife and I come to First Watch often. I love their giant pancakes, and my wife loves the avocado toast and egg dishes! Their service is excellent, and their environment is clean and well lit. The only thing I don't like is that it can be a bit crowded at times and is a little expensive. All things said, you get what you pay for, and we love what we get every time :) read more

I have been going to First Watch now for a while. The service I get in there is always amazing with happy servers who come to the table with a smile. After waiting 35 minutes for a table, the manager very smoothly yelled across the lobby "people pay attention to your phones. We text you when you're table is ready!" And then proceeded to be snotty to us as he sat us. (We never received a text and we informed his as such.) we were sat for almost 10 minutes before being greeted with coffee. The server then proceeded to dump burning hot coffee all over my niece because the lid was not tightened. She then said "Oh my god!" and scurried away. Then after another 5 minutes the manager came back and offered an incident report and kept saying it was an accident. His attitude and demeanor were terrible. He was not at all sympathetic to the situation and definitely did not treat it with the urgency it deserved. I was a server for First Watch for 2 years, and I was absolutely disgusted with the experience. I will never return to this location, nor will anyone in my family. read more

With the atmosphere adequate and wait times sub par the first watch of town center boca Raton is a great place for a family weekend breakfast or if an early bird even better. One should reserve a spot on weekends for the best service. Wait time from order to food was around 25-30 minutes. Not the best but worth the wait. The restaurant on the inside is decorated beautifully, and there's lots of space to sit down, eat and be comfortable. However, the kitchen can never seem to get my order right. They bring you practically raw bacon, you ask them to cook it so that it's crispy, they come back and give you burnt bacon. You ask for potatoes to be well done, and the last 5 times you come in the potatoes are not well done but undercooked and rubbery. I have received runny undercooked eggs as well. GROSS! I have given them multiple chances to get my orders right every time I come in, but this time I'm done. I keep coming back because of the atmosphere and the great food selection, but the fact that they can't cook the food how I ask them to cook it, which is a SIMPLE request, this will be my last time. I'm done. Who likes runny undercooked food, or burnt food? They are just lazy and don't care!!! This is not a one time issue, but a consistent issue. I live right up the street and this place is so convenient for me, but I refuse to waste my money anymore and leave feeling cheated and frustrated. read more

Therefore her suggestions were a hair better than an "eeny meeny miny moe".The coffee was the best...certainly better than Starbucks...better than Dunkin Donuts & if my memory doesn't fail me, perhaps as good as I've ever had including a wonderful brew I sampled in Costa Rica many years ago.... There are endless choices of omelets, eggs, pancakes, and French toast all of which have a creative bent . If you so choose... There are also 10 healthy inviting choices from yogurt cocktails to egg white turkey omelettes. I elected to choose a delightful smoked salmon frittata admixed with fried onions and roasted tomatoes. There are too many creative sandwiches and salads to list..... Just go to their website and peruse thru their wonderful menu. I forgot to mention that First Watch is part of a chain with many spots situated throughout Palm Beach County and Broward County. This particular spot is just off Town Center. read more

The food is inconsistent here. We've visited 3x for breakfast and only once, has my omelet been terrific. How difficult is it to make a great omelet? Hash browns were also undercooked. Went here for the first time last weekend. I've heard about First Watch for years and just never made the time to go until now and I have no clue why it took us so long. Sunday morning, around 9:30 AM, and we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. This place is a well-oiled machine with the way they get customers in, fed, paid, and out the door, and what more can you ask for? I ordered a belgian waffle with strawberries and my fellow diner ordered the traditional breakfast with 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon, & an english muffin. My waffle was delicious, he loved the eggs, it came with a VERY generous amount of bacon (like 3-4 slices), and a mountain of potatoes. I wish the potatoes were more crispy, and they had a bit of an odd buttery flavor which most people probably wouldn't mind but it just kind of caught me offguard. My favorite thing about this place is the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which is hard to find these days, and not to mention it was actually sweet and delicious. A large one is less than $4 and worth every penny. Their coffee is actually great, which says a lot for a breakfast joint when it doesn't taste like ashtray remnants. Our total bill for everything was under $30, which is a pretty reasonable price for the quality of food you get. We were very happy and would definitely be back to try any number of the other tasty offerings they have on the menu. read more

Had breakfast here with my mom one day! The melon cooler was phenomenal; however, the rest of our breakfast was sub par. When you ask for scrambled eggs, they're not really scrambled. They're still a little gooey and the whites and yolks were separated. The waitress said they don't really whip them that well. Lol okay then. Well, she comped us $2 each because that's how much the eggs cost. Also a little odd. Maybe the kitchen should learn how to properly scramble eggs. read more

First watch is our favorite. We eat here every weekend. Has the best service in South Florida best prices and great food. I'm sitting here on Mother's Day 30 people ahead of us and we still getting the door in 30 minutes. this review is the point of view of the busiest day at brunch of the year. The staff is excellent and always moves things along. We take All our guests here even above even 5 star restaurants. Every guest we take loved it. Also the food has a good mix of healthy and greasy. It can fit any dietary needs. My wife and I just moved to Delray and the only place We will miss in Boca is first watch. Service is so good that we never tip less than 25 percent and most of the time that is more than it would cost for 1 person to eat here. Thank you first watch for doing things right. Every restaurant in America should observe your restaurant and learn how to do it correctly. It Is greatly appreciated in a place where service is horrible being South Florida. This is a restaurant for old people who just want to get out of the house amd whose tastebuds dried up long ago. It is what I imagine prison food must be like.
