When we arrived to First Watch we were greeted immediately and the hostesses were so pleasant. Our server, Rachel, is actually who sat us though. She was so accommodating and offered coffee and water right away as well as a high chair for the baby. She gave us as much time as we needed and even helped us decide on our orders. I had the pomegranate sunrise, which was amazing and my husband had the mango passion fruit juice which was just as delicious. For our meals we had the traditional breakfast with sausage, a blueberry pancake, and the works omelette with no tomato. It was all so delicious that I failed to get a picture. Our only complaint with the food was the potatoes were very undercooked. Rachel brought us a fresh fruit cup instead of the potatoes. The omelette was packed with meats and cheese but it wasn't overpowering. The scrambled eggs for the traditional breakfast were seasoned and scrambled well. There is something for everyone but my personal favorite is the avocado toast for breakfast. They have everything from the healthy to the gluttonous. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I knew it had healthy breakfast options but I was pleasantly surprised by it's trendy menu, glassware and completely open view kitchen. Seasonal menu for fall includes tasty dishes like butternut squash soup, pumpkin donut bites, pumpkin pancakes, mushroom potato hash in addition to it's regular menu full of breakfast dishes, sandwiches and avacado toast. I ordered off the seasonal menu and asked for the pumpkin donut bites it came with two dipping sauces apple caramel sauce and a white glaze for $6. The entree I selected was also off the seasonal menu truffle mushroom hash truffle roasted shiitake and crimini mushrooms, potatoes, bacon, monterey jack cheese, two eggs any style, parmesan cream, lemon arugula for $11.39. I tried their butternut squash soup that was thick and not watery like at Panera Bread. Also ordered was the morning mediation speciality drink for $5 it's eye popping with dark red colors mixed amongst a yellowish orange. The drink consists of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. Everything tasted great and was served in large portions. Water was served out of a glass jar and the food didn't make me feel bloated afterwards just full. I ordered the Egg Benedict with smoked salmon on ciabatta crusted bread....it was "off the chart" the best ever and I travel from CA to NY. A absolute must. Included a little side salad / who would ever think about ordering this with a little salad. Makes sense to me... fresh greens with a light dressing... perfecto. Now let's change gears....service...
