Great to have First Watch in Verrado. My wife loves the Farmhouse Hash. Eggs were cooked well and fluffy. Potatoes were also tasty. I usually get the Bacado but decided to try the works omelet this time. The chunks of breakfast links in the omelet were a bit odd to me. I would recommend the Bacado if you're looking for an omelet. It tasted fresh and light and I was able to substitute the green salad it normally comes with for potatoes. My only issue was that it was a bit flavorless. My first experience was horrible but they obviously got the kinks out. This is my third visit to this new location. My husband got a pretty basic breakfast today, eggs potatoes sausage and toast. He said "whoever makes their eggs is really good. Always perfect" I had a quinoa bowl and it was perfect. I did ask for a side of their mixed greens lemon dressing and it made it even more yummy. The fresh juice is a great morning pick-me up I highly recommend it! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean and homey feeling. Great new breakfast spot in Verrado. The ambiance is warm, modern, clean and welcoming. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. The food options are plenty and the coffee is never ending and fresh! The biscuit and gravy is really taste, the eggs cooked as requested and the breakfast potatoes were cooked amazing and tasted even better. My wife loved her avocado hash and my son's half waffle was fluffy and hit the spot. My daughter loved her yogurt with fruit and muffin. I entered as soon as the restaurant opened, and although there were plenty of staff on the floor, no one seemed to know who was supposed to take our table. We sat for about 14-20 minutes before even receiving menus. Three different staff members appeared confused about who was responsible for us. One person eventually brought the menus, but a different server ended up taking over and bringing the food. Unfortunately, she seemed irritated during the few brief interactions we had with her. The food itself was just okay. The "specialized" bacon was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. Our meals arrived lukewarm, and throughout the entire visit we only received two refills in their small glasses, aside from one pitcher of water. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, there was no one at the register, and I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for someone to show up. Even then, the register wasn't working properly and required two staff members and multiple reboots just to process the payment. There were only about eight tables occupied, so it wasn't even busy. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to enjoy this place. read more

Mine and Hubbys first time and it didn't disappoint! He got the chimichurri steak hash and ate it all!! He Said it was that good! We shared their blueberry lemon cornbread and it was heavenly! We also got the tres leches French toast and the power wrap! Tres leches French toast was really good could only take a few bites as it was super sweet for me but the power wrap was sooooo delicious for only being 500 calories, also it was super tasty as well! We came this morning for the soft opening of this location, and it was amazing! Their food is fresh and so flavorful. I got the farmhouse hash and added mushrooms, and it was delicious. We tried the donuts and they were yummy. I also had the kale juice for the first time and it was so good I want to juice myself. Our server, Stacey, was so friendly. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. The music is a tad too loud but plenty of seating and super cute decor. read more

I love first watch however the opening has been rocky. I've gone twice now since it opened. First time the food took a more than normal wait which I found odd for soo early in morning. All other locations I've been too the food is super fast. The service was decent, however not really friendly. The 2nd visit the order was incorrect. Eggs way underdone, toast was literally dripping in butter, and it still took a super long time for the food. The mgr came and apologized, comped the dish which I appreciated and gave a BOGO card for next time. She was trying hard to make it right and I wasn't upset to begin with just disappointed that new store opening hasn't been great. The difference between over easy and first watch since they have opened in same location within months of each other. Over easy has a mgr on floor at all times and doing checkbacks. Whoever is on expo is checking every plate going out and making sure their ticket times are good. The food is hot and consistent. First watch-- you guys have some work to do to make this better. It's only going to get busier as you get into the busy season and you're not going to be able to keep up. You have to get a manager on the floor nonstop and someone who is checking those plates before they go out. I'll still come back, however the expectations aren't super high at this point, such a shame since you make a killer French toast and those million dollar potatoes are incredible! read more

We have been to many First Watch locations in various states and have always received excellent service and fresh, delicious food from the breakfast and lunch menus. Very popular and sometimes there is a brief wait, but it is well worth the wait. Lots of "healthy " options and seasonal offerings to keep it interesting. Truly something for everyone. We went twice opening week, and it was so good. But then this Wednesday morning we took my in-laws for brunch and it was terrible. We were there two hours. Insane. We waited 20 mins for a waitress to come take our drink order. Once we ordered drinks and appetizers, we waited about 30 mins. Then she took our brunch order finally. Once we ordered, we waited about 40 mins for our food. But then they only brought out 3/4 meals. The food was not good. The tomato was soggy and mooshy. The sandwhiches were literally wet and the lettuce on them was rotted and stinky. My husbands Monterey club, had one tiny slice of turkey. The waitress agreed it was bad and brought out more Turkey. But it was disappointing. We will be taking a break from this restaraunt sadly. The other upsetting thing was our glasses smelled like wet dog. Our name on the list was gone but luckily they were accommodating and sat us right away at the table closet to the host stand. We then waited forever for our server to come over and great us. She mentioned to the girl who dropped our food off that she order the classic eggs benedict that's supposed to come with ham and the food runner said that the ham was underneath the bacon and just walked away. The ham was not underneath the bacon so we now we are waiting for our server to come by and check on us so we can get the correct food item. We had to ask 3 different people for our server before she finally came back over. She didn't apologize for the mistake and just took the food and said she would look into it. After she did apologize and said it was her fault she put the wrong food in but the manager was on it and was going to fix it. That's totally fine mistakes happen but management never came by to check on us or speak to us.
