First visit and we loved it! Although it was a long wait due to short staff (40 minutes). I appreciated that they were restricting the amount of tables to ensure the staff was not overwhelmed and that the guests were treated well. Good was great! I had the classic Benedict. My husband had the salmon frittata, and the kids shared the chocolate chip pancake. Next time I'll order two of the kids pancakes because it wasn't as much of a portion as we see with other kids breakfast items from other restaurants. But none the less it was tasty. Possibly the worst experience I've had a first watch. The table we were sat at was sticky and the floor had smushed strawberries and bananas. After asking for our area to be cleaned. We had to ask for new glasses of water 3 times then gave up because every single one was dirty. After that introduction I was weary of the cleanliness of the food considering they can't even wash a glass correctly. Nice atmosphere,mediocre food, horribly run. Let me start with the waitlist doesn't work. The hostess doesn't know how to run it. We waited 2 hrs to get seated on a Sat. When she sat us down finally after multiple times of us going in and checking.. she said ' oh sorry, i thought there were 5 of you, not 2'... it's kinda your job though... Next, the patio seating although tables are available stops seating ppl at 1pm in case you want to sit outside. Finally we get at the coveted table and then she just wipes down the crumbs off the table with her hand... no rug, no spray.. trash everywhere on the table.. i mean just really puts you in the mood for food! Really disappointed. I went inside to order takeout. Ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and this is what I got. Didn't even bother to add the main ingredient to the order. Hell of a breakfast. Or should I say breakfast from hell. Signed up for the wait list online at 10am and it showed a 30min wait. Got to the restaurant at 10:30 and we were seated at 11am. Our food didn't arrive to our table for another hour and 15 min. Went in for a late breakfast and ended up eating lunch. Very unorganized staff. A crowd of door dash people standing around waiting for carry out orders in the middle of the dining area. The large sign on the wall that says farm to table should be a warning to anyone planning a trip to this restaurant. They are driving down to a local farm to get your breakfast before it reaches your table. First time last time. read more

First Watch in canton is by far the best place to go for breakfast or brunch. The food is amazing and the staff always go above and beyond no matter how busy they are. If you're lucky to have Nikki as your server you'll be blown away. She does such an incredible job of taking care of her customers. Honestly everyone here makes you feel like family when dining. I wanted to love this place. I really did. I had waited for months to try them out finally got a chance to. Was seated at a table waited 40 minutes for our order to arrive. Seems pretty simple two orders of eggs Benedict with well Done potatoes. When it finally came 1/2 of mine had 1/2 egg, the other egg was only a yolk which was broken and a half and drying on the plate already. My daughters Benedict the egg was raw. They forgot the potatoes and brought to our table afterwards so much for well done, they were stark white. Ended up leaving without even taking a bite of food quite disappointed. read more

My wife and I visited the Northville location fo breakfast. If you think that because it's in a little strip mall so you would think that it's going to be less than stellar, you'd be wrong. Place was clean and open with many windows. Lots of staff which today is an exception. Staff was friendly and prompt. Took our order and order he food was delivered in good time. Food presentation was very good. It was a little over the top for my tastes but many people will love it. I ordered an omelette and my wife eggs Benedict and both plates came with salad on the plate. A bit showey but Ok, I get what they are going for. Food taste for both meals was again excellent. Staff checked on your needs without being intrusive. Portion sizes were more than adequate. What more can you ask of a restaurant? Clean, open atmosphere, prompt staff and excellent food. Prices were a bit on the high side but not ripping you off. Overall a good experience. Came for a breakfast with my family, ordered but egg Benedict breakfast. The meals were brought the the egg Benedict was hard boiled. Sent it back and was told two chefs were working on it. 20 minutes later the second meal came out with hard boiled eggs again. Please learn to cook. Placed an order this morning that was to be ready at approximately 7:47am, food was not ready by 8:00AM. Understanding there had been issues in food service establishments due to staffing and other issues during the pandemic, I was being patient. However, only a handful of customers were in the restaurant and had already been served. The wait staff of 3 servers was standing around on cellphones and one was sitting reading a book and on cellphone. There was a full staff in the back if the house. By 8:10 AM still no order or staff acknowledgements. When I asked for status of order. I asked the server sitting and reading if she could let me know if it was my order. Another server walked up and said " if I don't like the service I didn't have to eat here". This is the second time for poor service at this location, customer service and communication isn't priority, no problem definitely won't eat here again! read more

Great spot to go for a brunch. We sat in the covered outdoor spot and felt very comfortable with the spacing of the tables. Everything tasted delicious. Although the service and food was great, the hardest part was getting in the door. We did the "Get in Line" option when the app stated the wait was 30-45 minutes, however, after checking in with the hostess we waited another 30 minutes. From the time we confirmed on the app to the time we were seated was much more than the app stated the wait would be. We have patronized other restaurants that use a similar feature and we have grown to trust it. I cannot say the same for First Watch's "Get in Line" feature. read more

I placed my order online for an in store pick up. I arrived right on time and the hostess said they were bagging up my order just as I walked in and directed me to the back counter to wait for my carry out. I stood and waited in the restaurant for an additional 11 minutes. It was interesting to observe the flow of the restaurant. After arriving home just a couple of minutes later, the food was cold... although the flavors were better than I was expecting! Everything had potential. I love this place! So far I have only ordered carryout but have loved it every time. The inside is nice and bright with plenty of sunlight coming in. Appears clean and staff has always been friendly.
