Ok. Not bad, not good. Bad service, ok food. Place was ok, not super clean but not filthy.

This used to be one of my favorite places to get lunch, as they have pretty good food with no unnecessary frills. It's a coney, you get exactly what you expect. What changed my mind was visiting the place recently and seeing a set of AI-generated food posters in the front window. This is a red line for me, and I'll be looking for a new lunch spot. I'll briefly cover the reasons: - AI art is lazy in the extreme. The fact that they would rather have the Lie Machine generate some BS than take a photo of their actual food, at the FOOD place, says very unflattering things about their priorities. - It's ugly! The food on the posters makes no sense and looks nasty and alien in the way that gen-AI food pictures often do. Someone looked at that and said "yep looks good to me" and PRINTED IT to display in real life! What an indictment of taste. - Making this stuff has very real negative impact on communities, both via environmental pollution from data centers and the extinction of the artist jobs that usually fulfill this kind of work. It's not something to be proud of and display on your building. What I've concluded is that someone with a high-up role at this location has become quite taken with AI slop and managed to get it from their computer screen to a real poster set without anyone around them having the will and/or means to say no. We could read any number of things into this, but at bare minimum it says someone at the top of this place's org chart is inattentive, penny pinching, and stubborn. If they'll do this with a straight face, what other corners will they cut? Not something you want to be in doubt of at a place that's serving you food. read more

Leo's is a staple in Michigan, and this Canton location always does a decent job all around. The food comes out fairly quickly and the service is always good. This location usually decorates for the holidays, giving it a festive feel. The chicken lemon rice soup is the best! They also have some of the best homemade ranch, in my opinion. They lost a customer with this one. I purchased six salad and one of them had a long hair in it. We called them and the young shift manager told me that it was not their problem once the food leaves their restaurant. I described the hair stating that it could have colored by the beet but it looked blond. She got stuck on the word "blonde" and emphatically insisted that no one in the restaurant has blonde hair. I explained that, this was not good customer service and although she was very apologetic, she refused to take responsibility for the hair in my salad. I stopped going to the Leo's on Belleville Rd. Due to poor customer service and now this location has lost my patronage as well. read more

One of my favorite traditions nowadays is taking my son to get breakfast at a local diner on my days off. Lucky for us we have no shortage of that where we live, and this Leo's around the corner from us was no exception. I grew up eating Leo's when I lived in Dearborn and been to multiple locations. They always have the same menus, same items and they are generally good as long as you know what to order. Always a fan of their breakfast, especially their turkey sausages. It was especially busy on this day due to the holidays, but my waitress was on point today. The food is not gonna wow you, but it's familiar and consistent which is what I wanted. read more

I go here often and sometimes it's busy. But the service is very fast. And I like the ambiance there too, it's a very amazing environment and everyone is very nice there, especially the servers. The food is amazing too and it hasn't gotten me sick yet. No food poisoning here! But I like coming here a lot to this exact one and I hope to go a lot more in the future to these places since they have the best food and atmosphere. :) read more

Wow this place is popular! We stopped at Leo's twice during a trip to Michigan. Of course we had to get our coney dog fixed and Leo's did not disappoint. We stoped the next morning for breakfast which was equally good. A great place to grab any meal or to satisfy your own coney craving. read more

Ordered Uber Eats from this location while staying at a hotel near DTW. The food was nothing special. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with a fruit cup on the side - it was of good size and quite filling, but nothing that would make me give this place five stars. Leos is your best kind of neighborhood "family" restaurant! When we go inside, everyone knows us now and the servers are always very kind.' We take our granddaughters in their too; & they love the pancakes and scrambled eggs as well. The childrens' pancakes come out looking like "Mickey Mouse" with a large pancake for the face & ears are two smaller pancakes! The scrambled eggs and sausage is so yummy and affordable! In fact all of the food tastes very good and it's always hot with great portion sizes! Now my favorite dish is the chicken stir fry! My husband and I sometimes eat there but many times we bring our dinners home! We always share that chicken stir fry and it's so much deliciousness with enough for two and a few bits of leftovers still! The stir fry comes with great all-white chicken and many different veggies! There's pea pods, water chestnuts and all kinds of peppers and great tasting rice too! It's our favorite, can you tell?? So just as an FYI, they sometimes have characters for kids come on Friday nights! My granddaughters love it when the Princesses show up or Goofy, Minnie or Mickey! It's free and fun for the whole family!! A few weeks ago we took our granddaughters to Leos for dinner and there was a lady who was doing face painting for the kids kids. But the neat thing was that she brought her parrot with her! It was just so much fun! I was driving around running some errands and starting to get hungry. I was planning on eating at another restaurant over in Plymouth but when I saw this Leo's near where I was shopping I decided to stop in here instead. I remembered going to the Leo's in Plymouth on my last trip to Livonia and had some really good Whitefish so I was hoping to have it here. Unfortunately they didn't have it. I talked to the waitress about it as I was leaving and she said some locations have it and some don't and theirs doesn't. What they did have was a moussaka dinner which is a favorite of mine so I ordered that and a bowl of lemon rice soup. The soup was very good and so was the moussaka, though maybe not as rich and flavorful as some I've had in the past, but perfectly respectable for $7.29 including mixed vegetables and rice. I got really good service from my server and had a very pleasant meal. read more

I called Leo's in Canton today for curbside service. I was told they don't offer it despite advertising it everywhere. I tried to pay over the phone to minimize my time in the restaurant and they refused. So I had to go in. The cashier was NOT wearing a mask, it was hanging around his chin. He was not having people socially distance at the counter when they paid. Everyone used the same pen (which I really hope was sanitized). This is very disappointing and if you want to offer a safe environment to pick up food, improvements must be made. read more

There is something for everyone at Leo's. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all offered. We often frequent this location for breakfast after church, and service is quick and friendly. Family favorites are the strawberry pancakes with whipped cream, French toast, canned corned beef hash fried to perfection, and their omelettes. Prices are reasonable, and even more so with the coupons circulated in monthly fliers as well as online. The kids like it because there are free suckers at checkout for the younger members of the family. The Leo's on Ann Arbor Rd/Haggerty in Plymouth was packed (and now I understand why), and I needed my chili fry fix so we went to this location that we'd never been to. Ugh, wish I never had. It was nearly empty during the "dinner hour", and we walked in and seated ourselves at one of the many tables that weren't bussed. I look to my left and see 2 waitresses giggling and looking at me, then 1 of them walks over to serve us. I'm not bothered at this point, they could have been just chatting & we happened to make eye contact. We clearly place our orders which she wrote down. Brings my husbands Greek salad with chicken, except there's no chicken, and no steak knife that he asked for. Then he had to ask for it twice. I begin to look around for our server, oh her and 3 other servers are chatting around the register with their backs to us. Finally I get her attention & we tell her he asked for chicken with it as well. She attempts to leave the salad & bring him chicken separately?!? Omg. So she takes the bowl and replaces it with another Greek salad that had chicken...which was boiled, crumbling, off color, and smelled nasty. Are you serious. My husband is visibly annoyed, and so a gentleman who works there (could not have been a manager) asks what's wrong and my husband shows him this ridiculous chicken. The worker kinda just stood there not knowing what to do/say, mumbled something, and walked off. Ok. Now my appetite is lost for my beloved chili fries that are waiting for me. We threw our hands up at this point and just wanted to go. Now to flag down our server AGAIN!!! We get the bill, she's charging us for the Greek salad. Nope. Had to explain the situation to another server who cashed us out. And now I see why the Ann Arbor Rd location is ALWAYS packed and this one isn't.
