This was one of the best brunches I've been to in Canton. We were able to join the waiting list so that we did not have to wait in line! This is an awesome experience and avoids having to show up and wait with everyone else. It's not that big of a place, but there's an opportunity to sit outside which is ALWAYS dope in the summertime. I ordered a regular mimosa and the Chickichanga. PURE FIRE. I never thought these ingredients mixed together for breakfast would hit the way that it did, but it was absolutely delicious. The service was slower than I would have liked, but it was jam packed when we were there which is probably normal for a Sunday brunch. I would recommend yall try this place out for sure. The ambience and service at First Watch is great! The hot chocolate was yummy! But 3 stars bc the food was just so-so. My husband had the waffles w/ eggs and sausage and he judged it pretty tasteless. I had a club sandwich and tomato soup. The soup was served cool (I sent it back to be warmed) and the sandwich was fair. We were bummed bc we loved the First Watch that we went to in Raleigh,NC. We had a good time here for breakfast! I ordered the Trifecta with turkey sausage and a Belgian waffle. The turkey sausage was a little cold which was off-putting. The eggs were pretty standard- needed some salt and hot sauce. The Belgian waffle, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious. The whipped butter paired with their jam and maple syrup was sooo good. Beware, although it's a chain all First Watch restaurants are not the same. I ordered the same thing at the Beck Road location and it was fantastic at the Plymouth restaurant. Ordered the summer special carnitas quesadilla and it was dry, hard and under stuffed at Canton restaurant. Not worth the $ at all. I love this place, the workers were really nice and service was pretty quick, I got the classic eggs Benedict and it was AMAZING, also if you go you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO get the bananas foster French toast. On a bustling, unusually warm Sunday in October, we found ourselves on the wait list for First Watch with the expectation of good food and company. Unfortunately, after over an hour of waiting, I still had no sustenance in my body. While staff shortages are to be expected, what I did not expect was cold, rude service along with a 25 minute wait for my lavender haze. Our server, who I will not disclose the name of, was visually frazzled which is again, understandable, but as of this writing, we arrived at the restaurant at 11:07am and it is now 12:17pm. We have seen our waitress twice, and I would not be surprised if she has left and gone to take a break. I am not one for shaming, let me be clear. But there is a difference between being short staffed and handling it with grace. If you cannot serve the customers in your restaurant, then do not do it. At 12:22pm, we left. Being a Mexican food lover, I went with a Mexican inspired breakfast burrito called a Chickichanga. And I enjoyed it very much. It was loaded with all kinds of flavors and topped with goodness too! Along with a side of potatoes and fresh fruit. My friend also got a burrito but hers was stuffed with pork and all kinds of ingredients including her potatoes. I was put on waitlist and received a text msg at 10:46 and told to wait for about 30 mins but didn't not receive any message so I called at 11:37, the lady told me they still had 7 groups ahead of me which didn't make sense because I saw people came after us were called in. After the call I went back to the restaurant and receptionist desk told me they did not have my name on the reservation. The staff said she would talk to her manger and turned out we will have to wait another 15 mins to for the table to be ready so we decided to leave. It was a very disappointing first time experience. First, the good. Our server Kaylee was great! Very attentive, pleasant and our service was quick. Unfortunately, the bad outweighed Kaylee's efforts. First, the greeter didn't do the job they were there for. I don't care if you have smiley faces in your hair, you need to have one on your face, too. And don't show up looking like you're on the juvi work-release program. Speak to your customers; don't look down and mumble something and point to a table. The food: If it wasn't burnt or over-done, it was cold. I mean, how can you mess up toast? Ours was half toasted and had apparently sat long enough that it couldn't event melt the butter put on it. The bacon was burnt, the doughnuts were dry, overcooked and greasy, the crème englaise was curdled. The omelet had the look and texture of the free reheated kind that you get at a hotel breakfast, just not as good. The benedict was cold, the potatoes were burned. I don't know what happened. We have gone here several times in the past and it was great. Haven't been in a few months and it is no longer the same place. read more

This is my favorite place to go after working a night shift. They serve alcoholic drinks starting at 7am. Big menu and a little bit of something for everyone. Their mixed greens with the lemon dressing are really good! Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a brunch spot. read more

Oof. Maybe the dine-in experience is better (though I doubt it based on the total seating cluster**** that was going on when we got there) but do NOT get take-out here. Our order was about 10 minutes late which is no biggie, but it means we got it the very second it left the kitchen, and we decided to eat in the car so we could have it hot. They'd packed it without utensils, napkins, or my drink, so we had to go back in for those. Literally everything was cold, even though it had just come out. The gravy was congealed and separated. Biscuits were soggy. Potatoes were hard and undercooked. The eggs and bacon were the only things edible, though still barely warm. But what REALLY ticked me off is that the outside of the packaging was covered in food grime that wasn't from our meal. Nothing was leaking, we had two packets of jam in the bag but they were sealed tight. And yet there was a bunch of dried jam on the lid of the gravy container. Which means someone in the kitchen saw that dirty lid and thought "eff it" and used it anyway. Totally unacceptable and unsanitary. The juice, once I got it, was good, and the seasonal bacon would've been pretty good if it'd been warm, but we will definitely never be back and I would pursue a refund if I thought it was worth the effort, tbh. And I have literally never asked for food to be refunded, anywhere. read more

A rock solid breakfast/brunch option in plymouth/canton. My personal favorite is the frittata (fancy Italian style omelet) and the juices from the juice bar. Everything tastes so fresh and it's consistently great which is really key for me. Had a pretty tasty brunch. Ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes , very delicious, wish I had a tad more ricotta but now I know for next time. Also ordered the million dollar bacon and a mimosa. The bacon to me is pretty much just bacon with syrup already poured on it, the description stated it had cayenne and is supposed to be spicy but I did not get that flavor profile at all. My mimosa was delightful, came with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a mini personal bottle of champagne, so cute!! Well I'm glad we tried this place but I don't see going back. First off...they have a way to "get in line" on their website, essentially reserving a table ahead of time. This did...nothing. We "got in line" and it said our table would be ready in 20 minutes. When we got there on time the host said our table "would be ready shortly"...which turned into an additional 60-70 minute wait. I don't mind waiting for a table on a Sunday, but don't tell me it's 20 minutes or "ready shortly" when it's really an hour-and-a-half wait. My chicken chimichanga was ok. Lots of tortilla and cheese sauce with little filling. But the flavor was good. My wife's lemon ricotta pancakes were delish, but our daughter's chocolate chip pancakes were abysmal. No one wanted to eat them since they were overcooked...crisp on the outside and tough on the inside. I've never seen anyone get pancakes with chocolate chips wrong, and it's odd how much worse they were than the lemon ricotta pancakes. I should mention it also took awhile to get the food. So on the whole an underwhelming 2.5-hour from start-to-finish experience. If the food were rock star then it would balance the scales, but with so many other great breakfast/brunch options nearby, it doesn't seem worth it. I don't think it's a 2-star experience exactly, but a 3 out of 5 isn't right either. read more

Meeting a friend here was a little anxiety producing for me as I was following a eating plan and could only eat certain food groups. One look at their menu made those fears go *poof!* First Watch has a huge assortment of fresh, made to order food. I ordered something off their seasonal menu, a pesto chicken breast and egg over diced potato hash, as well as the kale juice since it didn't have any extra sugar. The meal was so filling and so delicious! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the chicken was so good. The egg wasn't runny as I had hoped. There's a satisfaction when breaking a yolk and have sunny goodness run all over your food, but it was just too well done. The juice is in a category of its own. It was cold and fresh and surprisingly sweet without any added sweetening! So, so good, you'd never know it was full of kale. The service was great and we spent a good two hours chatting without feeling rushed. It was a calm, moderate environment. I really enjoyed my breakfast here and will be back! read more

One thing I love about first watch is the fact that they have an online waitlist. With two small children this feature is a big perk when we are trying to figure out brunch and breakfast plan. I love their seasonal menu options they are always so fun and unique. I do wish they had flavored latte options but i do plan to try their special juice drinks during my next visit. Until recently this has been my preferred first watch location. Today I visited and the menu was different from the last time I was there (which was recent). I could not find what I wanted. When I inquired about the menu change I was told that the menu changed recently for the purpose of crowd control and that on the weekends they no longer offered the full menu. I opted to go elsewhere because I came specifically for an item that was not sold on the abbreviated menu and it was not an option upon request. While offering an abbreviated menu on the weekend is one way to regulate the heavy flow (which actually is a good problem to have), unfortunately they also run the risk of losing loyal customers who have favorite menu items that are not offered during their busiest times read more

Took my niece here for brunch. It was a pretty chill atmosphere. Very well lit from the sunlight. There's a separate area that can be used as a patio when weather permits. The food was pretty good. Nothing I'd jump up and down about. The chia seed yogurt was super thick, but it had a really nice taste. It also came with some almond butter toast. The frittata made me feel like I was searching for the salmon, tasted ok. Kind of dry. I took the Turkey sausage a gravy meal home for my fiancé, he finished every bite, but he's a man, so easy to please. I saw this place on TikTok. Cant say I'm disappointed, just not overly thrilled.
