Whatever you do don't call to put in an order for more than two people more than 24 hours in advance. The manager was more than pushy to have me call and go to a different store because their too busy with walk in customers. So after telling him I just needed a few sandwiches and some soup he was very blunt in telling he just basically wanted me to go some where else. We were able to be seated immediately. The service was okay, nothing to rave about. The kitchen was clearly busy. The food was great. The eggs were cooked as ordered which we appreciated. They can accommodate food allergies. There are better places for brunch but this wasn't bad. read more

EXQUISITE! The bacado omelette with a side of greens and lemon ricotta pancakes was delicious. They even managed to make wheat toast with butter and jam amazingly tasty. Made me wonder if they churn their own butter it was so delicious. I particularly liked the service. I have been to the Lakewood location of first watch and it was much better than this location. Maybe it was just because my girlfriend and I are young but that shouldn't have an impact on service. Today we went in for a late brunch and got there just after noon. Waitress sat us, didn't bring us waters. We waited about 10 minutes to order after she realized we were both on our phones we had been waiting for so long. We finally order and I have to ask for waters. My girlfriend got the new limited carnitas bowl and I had the Florentine Benedict. The drinks took a long time coming out. Even the water took a long time it was ridiculous. The food finally comes out and it's fantastic and delicious. Didn't catch the name of our server. She was the oldest server there by the looks of it which is why I think our age played a roll in the kind of service we got. Let's just say we won't be back to this location. Such a shame we normally have great experiences with this chain. read more

The Eggs Benedict are not classic, but are very good. I prefer ciabatta over English muffin. Holland rusk would be better yet. My friend had a special and said it was fresh and tasty. Good coffee. WOW! Super impressed by this very diverse menu with some crazy healthy options! Chia Seed Pudding for breakfast! Get out! It was really well prepared with some delectable toppings and fresh fruit. An awesome way to start the day. My husband ordered an egg-white omelette and seemed to enjoy it. He keeps comparing his eggs to a place in Redondo Beach where they were incredibly fluffy. He is missing his fluffy eggs. But he did say the taste was good. We will definitely be back! Impressive service...coming back to check frequently and leaving the carafe of coffee (a huge plus) made this a very enjoyable weekend breakfast out. Greeted at the door...seriously! Wanted to like this place. First off they do not have a espresso machine. Atmosphere is ok but music is annoying. Menu was diverse and the server was fine but when I handed her,my not even half finished plate, she didn't even ask if I enjoyed my food. If I didn't ask her to remove my plate that was at the edge of the table I think it would still be there. The breakfast potatoes tasted like salt. All and all I will not go back. I will apologize to Snooze next time. That I tried a new place. I should know better. Not worth the time and it was expensive. read more

I go in for Easter breakfast with my wife and son, and a transsexual woman in bleached jeans at the host stand treated us very rudely and kicked my sons shin which left a bruise for approximately 45 minutes. After getting our food (we all ordered only kale coolers at my demand) he stole my Barnes and noble member card and attempted to run back to the kitchen to put it in his wallet. I liked the former restaurant's menu, but I didn't love it and it didn't bring me back very often. I am definitely going back to First Watch! The menu has a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch options. Another nice menu item that other daytime eateries in the area don't offer are fresh juice blends. They are delightful and very reasonably priced in comparison to what one would pay at a juice establishment. Absolutely delicious! My breakfast choice was avocado toast and eggs, which was heavenly! We waited a long time after being seated to get waited in. Had to ask for water and you would think the host would tell the waitress that we were more than ready. Finally our waitress acknowledged us with a "I'll be right with you". Five minutes later she was. If I wasn't so hungry we would have walked out. Funny I was here in Monday and the same thing happened so the service is just generally poor. Food was awe full. Raw sausage. Undercooked eggs.
