I love First Watch and have often come here for breakfast which makes me sad to report that that I think this location has taken a downward turn. This morning my breakfast was both burned and under done. Our Millionaire bacon was black and my chickichanga's tortilla was so burned that it was burned all the way through. My potatoes were burned on the outside and underdone in the inside. My service was good however so the front of the house is doing well. In the past my breakfasts have been excellent so I am hoping this is an anomaly but what bothers me is the lack of a quality focus. Sometimes things don't come out the way you want. It happens, but when it does, what do you do? Hide the most burnt part under sour cream or redo it the right the way and tell the customer it's coming but will be another few minutes? read more

My girlfriend and I ate here months ago when it first opened and were very unimpressed with the food. Fast forward to now, we were visiting my cousin in Omaha and he took us to his favorite breakfast spot..... a First Watch. What a difference 500 miles makes. The food there was amazing! So we decide to give this location a second chance. BIG mistake! I ordered the Salmon Benedict. In Omaha it was absolutely amazing. Not here. Horrible hollandaise sauce and not very good salmon. My gf got the biscuits and gravy, also bad. The gravy was more like a soup. On top of the poor food, the service was terrible. And no, they weren't even busy. My opinion is that the management or owner of this location doesn't know how to run it. We wont be back.... read more

We visited First Watch while hanging out with family in the Denver area. The menu has so many great options that it makes it hard to choose. I had an egg sandwich with bacon and avocado that was excellent. The portion sizes are generous and the price is great. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Soooooo good! The three of us had different versions of eggs Benedict and all were very tasty. Side potatoes were good, right amount of browning and flavor. I had a delicious non-alcoholic Morning Meditation drink that really boosted my energy. Great coffee. Place was busy-Sunday morning-but the wait staff was friendly, attentive and energetic. Worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. Our server was rude and unfriendly from the start. Never greeted or welcomed us to the restaurant. We felt as if we were not welcome in the restaurant. When she asked if we wanted coffee we each said no thank you. She responded with her hand held out and said, "give me your cups." She then said in a rude tone,"so what do you want to drink?" When she came back to take our order she just pulled out her pad and stared at us. We ordered and asked for water as well. She brought the water 10 minutes later and as she slid it on the table said "oh, I forgot." As we sat and watched her with other customers she was chatty, smiling and friendly. Delicious and robust menu! As someone who doesn't eat red meat I typically have a limited menu to choose from when it comes to breakfast food but First Watch had lots of delicious options for me to choose from. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy made with turkey sausage! read more

Food is good but deeply unimpressed by the service. We waited for a server for at least 10 minutes. Then finally a self described "bus boy" came to take our drink order. We were looking for a Keto friendly brunch since we've been on the "fad" diet for some time now, and we stopped here on recommendation of a friend and I am so glad we did! I ordered the Chile Chorizo omelette, substituted the toast and jelly for extra greens and with only 17g carbs (not net), 56g fat and 36g of protein, this was perfect and keto approved. Keto facts aside, this place was amazing. This place was the cutest little hipster-ish brunch spot I've ever been to. The location itself is a bit smaller compared to other brunch spots in the neighborhood, so we were expecting to have to wait a long time, to our surprise it only took 10 minutes to seat us! Our waitress was quick and efficient, the rest of the staff was also a delight to deal with. My friend and I had brunch here for the first time this past Monday and I will never go here again. I have CELIAC DISEASE and when I was reading on their website that morning, I had the impression that they knew how to cook using precautions for cross contamination. When I went to the restraunt they didn't have a gluten free menu and I was told that they had gluten free bread, but they put it in the same toaster as regular bread... My friend and I looked over the menu and the waitress hadn't came to greet us for at least 10min. When she came I talked to her about gluten free she said that the kitchen would make my meal (eggs, meat, potatoes, and greens) with clean surfaces and utensils. We visited First Watch for the first time on Sunday morning, arriving at about 915 with a party of 5. There was no wait and we were seated at a nice over-sized booth by the windows. Loved the decor - very cozy and chic. Food was excellent. Between us we ordered the Triathlete plate (egg white omelet), the breakfast tacos, a veggie omelet and kids' menu waffles. Everything was delicious with generous portions and good sides (especially loved the dressed greens with the omelet and the black beans/pico de gallo with the breakfast tacos). The omelet and Triathlete came with bread which was thick and delicious, especially with the side of what appeared to be homemade preserves. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delivered quickly. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast/brunch alternative to Snooze. read more

This is the sort of misleading double speak that should stay in California till it retires and dies a slow terrible death.
