My friend ordered a juice which didn't make it to the table before our food came out (ugh). My waffle was pretty good, nice and crisp like I like it. The Million Dollar Bacon was such a disappointment. Seemed undercooked, flavor just wasn't there for me. My scrambled eggs were so hard, I barely ate them. It was like they threw eggs on a griddle, forgot they were there, and came back to finish them off real quick. Very disappointing. FirstWatch does have very good coffee and a nice variety of creamer if that's your thing. I enjoyed the farmhouse chic decor they've switched to, but First Watch has really declined from the days where I actively wanted to go there for brunch. I tried an offering from the Fall menu that included a pumpkin pancake/ chicken sausage / 2 eggs ($9.25). If was very good and the sampling left me satisfied but not overly full. The service was very good, coffee was good and I like that they leave the coffee pot on the table. I found it a very good atmosphere to have 1:1 business/personal meetings over a meal. Not impressed at all with the French toast ciabatta. It sounded wonderful on paper and that was about it. It came out and looked decent, however it totally was not. The French toast if it could even be called that was dry. Very dry and it did not taste like French toast either. It tasted more like dried out ciabatta with a dab of Nutella, whipped cream and strawberries. I am a fan of first watch, but this menu option was not executed well at all. First watch needs to go back to the drawing board and do some more consumer research and taste tests. Trying to pay my bill at the end was chaotic. If you're looking for a semi-healthy place to get breakfast, this place is it! I have attended First Watch serval times for get-togethers or meet up with friends. It's a great place to grab a gal pal and talk over brunch. Just know that if you go during the rush, you are going to have to wait. This place is usually jampacked on weekend mornings. I love the fact that there is a small table/bar set up now at this location that allows you to go sit. It's more of a 'bar' feel--but if you really don't care about a privacy of a booth or a table and just want to eat, it's perfect. This option allows you to quickly sit down. It's great if you are dining with a friend or by yourself. It's a perfect quick option! If you are looking for the more traditional breakfast such as pancakes or waffles with a gazillion different options, this place is probably not it. But if you were looking for some delicious avocado toast or fruit dishes--they have some great options. They do serve waffles or pancakes, and they are pretty good. The parking is a little tight around the building in this location, but if you run out of room, there is another parking lot around back. I went to this location Friday around noon. I waited behind a family, as is custom, but a couple who came in after me stepped in front of me to say they needed a table. I let it slide. The host (who is also the manager in this case) was busy so he may not have noticed I was there first. So I stand there, waiting again, when a man steps up to pay for his check. (You do this at the same spot) Okay.... a little annoyed, but not the end of the world. The hostager has seen me by now im sure, and will get to me next. BUT NO. Another man steps in front of me to pay for his check. I dont know what it was about me that made me completely invisible to everyone around me, but I have to wonder if it was because I was a party of one. I left at this point, and called to speak with a manager. He said, "I saw that you had gotten upset and stormed off" ????? I didnt storm off, I simply left in a semi-hurried fashion because I was hungry and obviously wasnt going to be seated anytime soon at this rate. He then told me, "Im not sure why they were cutting in front of you, but we do not allow that here" ????? You literally just did 3 times to one person constructively, sooo... The food was fine except the pancakes were a bit too sweet and soft but not to the point where they were inedible probably a solid 5.76/10 on the pancake scale. My biggest problem was the size of the actual dishes, more specifically the plates. I had three plates that took up half of the table, they were unnecessarily large almost comically large. One plate had my single pancake and a side of bacon (stacked), one plate had two? eggs, and another plate had another order of bacon all of which were the same size as the plate for the pretty sizable pancake. Came here with my hubby on a Sunday morning recently, and we used the "join waitlist" on the Yelp app. It made the wait so much shorter! We don't live very far from First Watch, and we were able to wait at home and in the car a bit, instead of waiting in the crowded front of the restaurant. The wait really isn't that long, considering the number of people waiting for tables. We were seated at a table for four. It's always great to have extra room! The server was cheery and efficient. I hadn't tried the avocado toast here yet, so I went with it and enjoyed it thoroughly! Nice amount of chunky avocado atop nicely toasted bread. It came with two basted eggs with runny yolks, just the way I like them. I was really hungry and ordered sides of potatoes and chicken sausage patties. Always love the potatoes! They have delicious bits of crispiness on the outside. The chicken patties were okay. I've had their turkey sausages before and would order those over the chicken patties. I visited this location last Friday and surprisingly my French toast was warm but the Million Dollar Bacon was very cold and lousy. The place was in a good location and easy to get in and out and my waitress was really nice. I gave this place a 2/5 for their cold Million Dollar bacon. It wasn't even a million dollar bacon. He brought the coffee but declined to ask if I wanted to order. He hadn't introduced himself so I wasn't sure if he was my server so I thought nothing of it. An older couple came in and sat behind me. The server took their orders right away. Still no one came to my table. I sipped my coffee and waited. And waited. And waited. The staff was not coming around and over a period of at least 10-15 minutes I waited. The older couple behind me got their food and the original server came over and checked on them. When he still didn't stop at my table and I had finished my cup of coffee, I got up and left. I doubt anyone on the staff even realized I was gone. I've been here several times before as it is close to my office and I've had mixed experiences but nothing like this. It was clear no one there was interested in my business. The menu isn't giant but provides a lot of options including healthy and vegetarian. I opted for the Avocado, Bacon, and Tomato skillet meal with two eggs on top. You could tell this stuff was all pre made and ready to go. My potatoes were a bit cold, not browned very well. The cheese wasn't melted all the way either. I basically scrambled it all together and just ate it anyway because I was really hungry and we were in a hurry. It didn't really taste good, but it wasn't the worst I've ever had either. This place is always packed, and there is almost always a wait. Come early, order something simple, and do not expect this place to knock your socks off. read more

It has a bitter, chalky, almost chemically after taste. They put lemon slices in the water which when they first came to the table I thought was a good thing but after tasting the water I realize they were trying to mask it. The food is breakfasty. Similar to IHOP just churned out like a national chain restaurant. I ordered eggs over medium and I guess that was confusing because my egg order was wrong, wrong, wrong. The potatoes that accompany the meal tasted "off" and inedible. The whole wheat toast was very good and from looking at the others in my group's order the pancakes and other egg orders looked pretty good too. The other thing that was very good was the coffee. We came here around 8:30 am with our 2 familes: 5 adults and 4 kids (7, 5, 2, and 1). We were told that the wait would be 15-20 minutes which was fine. But 25 minutes came by then 30... as we were waiting patiently outside trying to calm our kids down, the manager came out and said that he would comp our meal. We finally got seated and our food and service were great. I loved their kids meal choices. I also love the healthy and hearty options they have on their menu. I went with the Tri-fecta: eggs + waffle + sausage and I highly recommend it. We don't know how much our bill was but we assumed it was a little over $100, but we were so grateful with the service that we paid $50 cash for tip.
