This review is overdue. We've come to this location a few times now and it doesn't ever disappoint! Service is great, all the waitresses are super friendly and efficient. The place is very clean and they managed to fit in plenty of seating without it feeling like you're on top of the other table. The food is great! We love that they have a seasonal menu. Their ingredients are always super fresh. We really like the chikichanga and lemon ricotta pancakes from their standard menu but we always try the new items too. Recently, they had a lavender French toast that was amazing!

Didn't really think of much of this place until my colleagues recommended it. I was shocked and surprised, in a good way! It was me and ny hubby's first time coming here so we didn't really know what to expect when it comes to their food. So it seems they do promote healthy lifestyle/eating, which is such a huge plus! I love their kale juice, it's so refreshing and it's definitely good for your gut! I ordered the Market Skillet Hash with bacon. Food was well seasoned, and well done. Presentation was good. Our server was sweet and nice :) Definitely would come here again!

Holy cow the vibe of this place was so lively! Right as you walk in you're greeted by friendly customer service as well as a lot of positive energy from the customers. The restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. Let's get started with the food review now! We got the kale tonic fresh juice which was composed of kale, Fuji apple, English cucumber and lemon. It tasted fresh and energizing. We also ordered the Chile chorizo omelette and market hash. The market hash consisted of two sunny side eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, mozzarella and goat cheese. The Chile chorizo omelette consisted of chorizo, omelette, avocado, green chiles, onions, cheddar and Monterey Jack. Both came with fresh whole grain toast. Overall the food was godly delicious. Full of flavor, rich in calories and nutrients for energy. Portion sizes were massive! Left with a full tummy. So far this has been top 3 breakfast places I've tried in the area. The quality and freshness of the food is also seen on their menu because they provide a nutrition label with amount of calories and ingredients used in their dishes.

They lose a star this trip because my biscuits and gravy with eggs (scrambled) were EXTREMELY mediocre, to put it politely. Queen Bee enjoyed her "half and half" selection. She chose a half Monterey club (grilled) and a cup of tomato basil soup. My dear Queen Bee totally loved her choices, and said she'd order that same combo again as a switch up from breakfast stuff. She also had the "Morning Meditation" mixed juice beverage. Our dear server Alex totally forgot to bring it out until we were half done with our food. She did apologize about it, although the Missus could've done without it by this juncture. Beyond that, not notably remarkable one way or the other. When we cashed out, we used the gift card the corporate office gave us back when for a total strikeout of a first visit to this First Watch. No less than the manager himself cashed us out. Well... After adding in tip to the original $31 tab, and subtracting the $30, we had around $9 left. So Mr. Manager appeared confused and said "$8.85 on the card?" and THEN repeated himself after QB said "yes." So he had this quizzical deer in the headlight expression. What I totally did NOT like is that he neither acknowledged nor smiled nor anything. No "thank you," no "have a nice day," not a single stinking word. This is the kind of service I'd expect from someone a few links down the food chain. This fellow (tall blond haired male with glasses) is supposed to be in CHARGE of this place??? Good help is truly hard to find these days, particularly in the hospitality field. Let's just say Mr. Manager was about as friendly and hospitable as a bowling ball. Seems like Mr. Manager doesn't quite manage to manage. Luckily I didn't make the us a two star review, folks.

Upscale breakfast-lunch spot. While a little pricey, everything I've had there had been a breakfast treat. Splurge on the Million Dollar Bacon! Service is prompt and quick.

Not bad, we walked in on a Saturday morning. The place was packed and we had to wait. It was a short 8 minute wait. Once seated even the service was fast. The server was quick, polite and had personality. Like I said, this place was packed, every seat was taken. The noise was moderate, people just talking aloud with each other. The food was your basic of breakfast. Tasty but nothing unique about it. We had the tacos and biscuit and gravy with eggs and breakfast potatoes and some bacon.

This is a go to for a good breakfast. I usually get the Market Veg omelette with a side of bacon and the Morning Meditation juice or coffee. This is a cozy spot with friendly staff. They even have a community table if it is busy and you don't have time to wait.

Great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Loved the atmosphere with a friendly staff and great food. The restaurant was clean, great decor, and very homey. For a Sunday morning, even though it was busy, we were seated timely. Don't turn around because it may look full, it is definitely worth the small wait!!! I love the overall vibe and atmosphere at this location. When you walk into this first watch there is a huge difference service wise compared to the others in the area. I am always greeted and the servers are always prompt, I never have to ask twice for anything and they're always so polite. Ask for Jodi if you want the best service ;) read more

One of my favorite breakfast spots. I always get the Market Hash and it's so tasty and the portion is really filling! All the food is so good you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Only giving it a 3 stars because our service was horrible today. Our server Bri made us feel rushed to order as soon as we sat down. The only other time we saw her is when she brought us our drinks. I wanted to order something else but she never came back over. Another server dropped off our check when our food came out, so we felt even more rushed then before. We waited so long to see if she would ask us if we needed boxes and since she never did we had to ask the manager. Def really disappointing.. we always get really excited to eat there and this was not a good experience. read more

Walked in and it was so loud. Hostess just smiled and didn't say anything so I said we had 2 people. She said it would be 20-25 mins. We said okay. We told her our name and she told another hostess to put us on a tablet wait list and she tells us 45 mins. We were going to leave but they offered to seat us immediately after cleaning a table if we didn't mind sitting with strangers. Sounded good so we agreed .. 15 mins later we sat ourselves. I looked around to see multiple dirty tables plus the carpet was filthy. Water cups were child size with no ice and I had to ask for lemons three times. Maybe she couldn't hear me over the echoing of loud kitchen sounds and people speaking. Water tasted like soap and they don't serve mimosas... I am not a fan of brunch spots without mimosas anyways. My boyfriends coffee was bland and almost cold. The pot wasn't even full so he only had enough for a cup and a little top off. I was turned off by the place so I didn't order anything. He ordered chili chorizo. People across from us got eggs over medium bacon (requested crunchy) and a quinoa bowl. The portion was laughable and she said it was under cooked. They had to send the bacon back and it still wasn't crispy the second time. Not to mention it was drenched in grease. They finish and pay and my boyfriend still hasn't gotten his food. So he asks for it to go ... almost 20 mins later she comes with the food and says to pay at the register .... that was our experience . We will not be back to any location. read more

I've gotten a sunrise granola bowl Togo about 3 times now and every fricken time it comes without a muffin!!! When I know for a fact while dining in you get a muffin. I called the place after the 3rd time and the girl who spoke said "oh I'm so sorry" in a pretty fake manor.. and then just asked me for my name and kinda expected me to hang up..? Maybe the poor girl just doesn't know how to handle the situation.. but that is not how. A well run restaurant would sound more like..." Oh I'm sorry ma'am what can we do to make it better? I LOVE this place. There have been a few complaints but they're accommodating to resolve any negativity. I always get the Salmon Benedict it's perfect, and the million dollar bacon. I love the freshness and creativity of this establishment. As for the complaints it was miscommunication which was resolved with a free meal. Also, my boyfriend and I had to wait a considerable amount of time for our food and it was resolved with our meals on the house and we got a card for buy one entree get one free. Win win. read more

We gave First Watch on East Bay another crack and were really pleased with the experience. The food was really delicious, I ordered the barbacoa benedict with eggs poached soft. The meat was extremely flavorful and eggs poached perfectly. My husband had an omelette and said it was delicious. J.R. came and spoke to us about our meal and checked to make sure everything was in good order. Our previous visit wasn't all that great, so we truly appreciate the fact he took time to speak with us and made us feel welcomed. It's great to see a company make customer service such a priority, and J.R. and the folks at First Watch certainly did that. Anxious for the weekend so we can return for brunch! read more

This particular FirstWatch is extremely noisy probably due to the high ceilings you cant even carry on a conversation without having to yell. The Sunday service SUCKED!! I sat at the long picnic table when you first walk in rather than having to wait for a table. Three waitresses walked by one even was wiping the table down and didn't even ask if I needed a menu, I had to flag one down, (waitress #4) to get a menu and she didn't seem happy that I stopped her. Needless to say I'm not eating at this noise box again the management needs to install sound depthing material on the walls and ceilings. read more

I've been here twice now. They have absolutely incredible food! The iced coffee is so perfect! I got the tri-fecta with a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious!!! Great place to eat of all ages.. Why I say that is because I have a two year and 4 month old. They have a carseat holder which lot of places don't have anymore and was nice to leave him in his seat so I could enjoy my birthday breakfast. I love the environment and they have amazing food.. Staff was also great and very friendly. I'm a coffee lover that's the first thing I go by. The coffee was strong and great (perfect coffee) we will definitely be going here a lot from now on. I was really hesitant to eat at first watch again after my experience in the Clearwater location so I decided to try this one! It was phenomenal; we were seated right when we walked in, our waitress Koya was amazing! She was super friendly and efficient just all around awesome! The First watch on Eastbay is not only my favorite place but my happy place, very clean and I love the atmosphere. I come in 2-3 times a week due to the excellent service from not only the servers but also the management. This place has awesome food, very fresh and filling. I started coming first watch for the first time 8 months ago and I've been a regular at this first watch ever since. The food is always so fresh and unique compared to other restaurants I've ate at. Along with the food, one of the biggest reasons why I drive extra to go to this specific location is because the positive and open vibe that the servers and the atmosphere give off. From being here so often I have seen that they all work together as a team and it's so refreshing to see. We got the grilled cheese at the hour and a half, ours did not come with, and after our toddler finished half his meal we opted to cancel our order altogether. We missed nap time, we missed eating our meals, and left really frustrated with the lack of communication with a blank statement apology.

As I waited I looked around and found it odd they the walls were empty. I would expect a TV or a monitor with some on, nothing. I was called and I got my food. Whether you eat in or take out, it comes in a bag. no tray. First thing I was surprised by the fries, don't really prefer the waffle fry but these were done really good. Crispier than others. And the burgers were a good size for being a slider. And as another one said they were done right. I had LMO on mine with cheese. It was good burger and fry. As I sat there and ate some others sat as well and I over heard one say something about condiments and napkins. Although I did get napkins with I'm a ketchup person so I didn't notice at first. There are no condiment station anywhere, again, odd... Overall not a bad place if your driving thru, give it a try. Peace.

I came in to pick up my to-go order today and I don't think I've ever felt more unwarranted hatred coming from someone than what I got from the 2 male servers working today. The male server with longer hair was gossiping to the server who was closing out my order while I was standing there and when I asked for utensils, he gave me the dirtiest look I think I've ever seen like how dare I speak! LOL the red haired server went and grabbed the utensils and handed them to me like I had just ruined his life. I was there for maybe 2 minutes and left feeling absolutely disgusted. I get it if you're closing soon and want to end your shift but I don't think that was at all warranted. I hope they find better servers because that will really destroy a business over time. read more

I ordered a chicken salad melt and soup. Unfortunately, they were extremely frugal on the portion size of the chicken salad. There was maybe three bites to it, no exaggeration! I'm a very tiny female and I am leaving hungry. I normally don't take time to post reviews, but this was pretty ridiculous. Hopefully they don't continue to give tiny portions because they will loose buisness. I would rather have the price increase so I can get an average size portion than to leave hungry. Not sure why restaurants don't understand that. Everything else was great! read more

Everytime i go to this first watch i am greeted by the hostesses! They are always very quick to ask how my day/morning is going so far and then go ahead and seat me. My server was Jodi, she was so sweet and very on top of everything. She made it a very pleasant experience. I live closer to the location on seminole boulevard but would rather make the drive to Easy Bay to have Jodi as a server. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a visit to the First Watch :)) read more
