This location unfortunately seems very unorganized. They had me sit at something called the "community table" so I would not have to wait, which I was fine with. The Clermont location is spacious with a farmhouse feel. The greeters were friendly and welcoming, but the food was below my expectations. My coffee was lukewarm and my entree - Eggs Benedict was bland, breakfast potatoes were not fully cooked (firm center), and the toast was NOT browned yet lathered in butter! I asked my server for hot coffee and she returned with another pot, but no mugs. So I had to borrow a couple from a neighboring table. First time I've ever ate here and it is WONDERFUL! The skillet I chose is delicious and I'm surprised because it has weird things like zucchini and goat cheese but wow does it all go together beautifully. Also the mimosas are the best I've ever had they use the barefoot bubbly and it's perfectly paired with fresh OJ. 10/10 highly recommend you try this place! Great breakfast! The service was attentive and friendly. Dontae was our server and he was great. I had the Lemon Curd Ricotta pancakes which were really good. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put syrup on them and they were a little dry. Donate offered syrup and they were tasty, tasty! The lemon curd was yum, and the strawberries made it over the top yum. My husband had the Smoked Salmon Benny and he loved it too. 5 stars for the staff and management!! We've been coming to this place since they opened. The staff service and the food were always amazing, but for the last couple of months the food waiting time was getting longer. Two weeks ago we addressed it to the manager where they promptly reorganized themselves and the food today came in less than 15 minutes! The management truly listens for the customer's feedbacks and they always do their best to make you feel welcomed here. When this location opened, it rejuvenated the Clermont breakfast game. With amazing waffles, great coffee, and an ever changing seasonal menu of fresh entrees and healthy menu options, it was primed to be a local favorite for years to come. Unfortunately, a steady decline in quality and care allows this to be just one more average option the family discusses on those mornings that they just can't face their own stoves. High turnover has led to several polite but inattentive servers that don't notice your food isn't as ordered until they've brought it hurriedly to the table. The glasses used for table side water regularly look like they're ready for CSI to process the prints on them. And finally, the quality of both the taste and appearance of too many a meal, suggest that they were Ubered to the back door of the kitchen before being hastily plated and snatched by the servers in the front. Despite all of that they do manage to occasionally squeeze out just enough flavor and a variety of meals, that I still have hope that with a much needed injection of pride in their products, this place can reestablish itself as more than just a commercial chain eatery. read more

The restaurant was clean, as well as the restroom, our waitress came over right after we were seated and brought over coffee and water really fast. She was very attentive to us and her other customers, also asking if we needed anything. We have been here a few times over the past month. Almost every time we go for breakfast, Chelsea is our server. She is delightful, friendly and efficient. She even brought me a sample of the new carrot juice to try- it's really good! Great food, really nice atmosphere, friendly service. Everyone was wearing masks, hand sanitizer was provided and tables were sat with distance between. The Togo food table at the front looked fast and efficient. Our first visit and so disappointed - doubt we will be back. We waited at least 10 minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table and took our drink order. Before that, we were looking around, obviously seeking some attention but no one was interested in making eye contact. We almost left and went to our go-to, Keke's, but I really wanted to give this place a shot. The carafe of coffee was nice but it wasn't very hot and there was something 'off' with my husband's Coke. The staff was not overly friendly and most seemed not to be smiling. We had one young lady take our order and another check on us once after being served. We didn't get either name and I'm not sure who our server was! I do not think we were ever offered refills. All of the servers seemed young and like this was their first rodeo. I get that people need to start somewhere but sheesh...there didn't seem to be anyone with experience or urgency in the whole place! Like in other reviews, the silverware cleanliness was questionable and it was pretty loud in there. The restaurant seemed clean overall though and we didn't mind the noise. We could talk to each other just fine and our 4 year old, who has volume control issues, didn't disturb other customers. I got the Carbonara Benedict and while quite tasty, it was only moderately warm, even though it came out last. My daughter's french toast was fine. My husband's biscuits and gravy was disgusting! It was not a normal sausage gravy but brown, offputting and apparently tasted as terrible as it looked... like something my dog barfed up. His potatoes were flavorless and some were almost raw, and his request for lightly scrambled eggs were so overcooked, they were inedible. The second girl who came by is also who brought the check and she was nice enough to remove his meal ... he ate a few bites at most. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 just because I would eat the Benedict again for sure. read more

The Bad : Didn't have to wait for a table which was nice, the host was nice as well. However, after being served our waiter was no where to be found. We sat for a bit before realizing that she was never coming back lol asked another server who clearly was busy for our check and Togo boxes. She suggested the frittata since it was a special for the month and it wouldn't be returning. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast tacos and we both shared the lemon ricotta pancake. The frittata came with arugula dressed with lemon. It didn't arrive with it on but our server noticed it wasn't there so she brought me it out. Didn't get it in the picture. But it was there and I placed it on top. Frittata: was so delicious, flavors all balanced each other out and the arugula with lemon really made the taste pop. I loved the wild mushrooms. Overall great dish! Ricotta pancake: DROOL. I was so obsessed with it. The lemon curd and strawberries together were phenomenal! The pancake was so fluffy and light. Usually when I order pancakes I always feel like it was too heavy but not these ones. Uh, the combination of all 3 flavors were perfection. Breakfast tacos: now, at first I was skeptical on this dish I had seen photos of it and it didn't impress me so I tried steering him away from it but he insisted on trying something new which I was happy to hear him say Bc he's a typical biscuit and gravy kinda guy. And let me just say this.... JOB WELL DONE! I was so jealous of his breakfast when I tried it. The chicken and the chorizo were just heaven. Definitely something worth trying. This would be my To go to item here. It wasnt greasy or heavy, Loved the tortillas they used. We did substitute the beans for potatoes since he's not really a black bean kinda guy. Came in on a Wednesday morning at 8:15, restaurant wasn't even half full. This was my husbands and I first time ever trying first watch. After 10 mins we still haven't had anyone come to our table. A man walks in and sits at the table next to us, in less than 5 mins someone has come over with his drink and he put his order in. We decide to stay 5 more mins, nothing. We left and went to Kekes. By time we left and drove to kekes, sat down and got our drinks, it was less time than we spent sitting at first watch. After reading the other two reviews that had issues with their experience as well, you would think they wouldn't just copy and past the same response to both people. I've been to First Watch in the past so when it was offered as an option for brunch I was happy to go. Located in the front of the plaza we could tell there would be a wait on a Sunday. I didn't mind this but when they said a half hour and i went to check after 35 minutes and was told my name was called a long time ago (when the three of us were sitting on a bench right outside the door against the building) I was a bit put off. They hastily cleared a booth leaving debris and wet marks on the table and threw a waitress at us. Not her fault as I'm sure they also didn't tell her. This is really where my complaints end but the hostess team needs to do a better job of 1) Making sure they go in order and let people know when their reservation is ready and 2) Not making guests and their own staff feel like it is their fault/burden. That front of house experience is a first impression that will last throughout the meal in either a positive or negative light. They have a one page menu front and back with bowls, griddle, omelets, sandwiches and traditional brunch items along with a few specialty seasonal choices. I love breakfast and brunch so this was all very welcome! Today I tried the Chickichanga which I had heard such great things about. They were all true! It was amazing! I've marked one more menu item off of my list! I also decided to try a seasonal drink called Morning Meditation which had OJ, Cranberry, & Ginger as the main stars. I really enjoyed it with my meal.
