Food and service is great. Be careful when paying with the cashier people! Our ticket was $59 and some change. I asked the cashier to split it halfway. My half came out to $29 and some change. The 20% tip button was over $10. I don't know how you got $10 from $29 * 20%. You guys need to fix that because it's flat out wrong. 20% of $59 is only $11.80. The large man with the hair band in his hair was not friendly at all. He shouldn't be in customer service in the front of the house. I would go out of my way to not have to deal with him. read more

Not only did I have a horrible experience with my First Watch order, I was told by an account manager in October that I would receive coupons as an apology for the horrible service. It is now December and not only have not received a coupon but not an email or a phone call to say that I was never going to receive what was promised. Needless to say this company has left a bad taste in my mouth and more than likely I will not be dining at the establishment again! Came here with a group of friends and wasn't sure what to expect or anything, but friends say they love the place. It looks nice inside, simple and cozy. The menu is simple as well and has food choices for breakfast. They have some nice selection of healthy items. I went for the waffles and they were good. I didn't find the place unique or extraordinary from other breakfast places I've been too. But it is still a nice spot to come and gather. Our server was great and everything was nice and clean. Getting into this place was a little tricky due to construction on the road but that's not the restaurant fault. We were seated immediately and we're given ample time to review the menus. The waiter took a little long returning back to us, but maybe because we had told him to give us a few more minutes. Whatever not a big deal. Ordered the eggs Benedict, which was good and the wife ordered avocado toast. Prices were OK and the coffee comes in a pot on the table to serve yourself which I enjoy. They don't take reservations so don't try to call ahead even if they say yes I got you down. The server was really nice and the ambiance was good Price/value is pretty decent. Purple haze is good... kind of like purple lemonade. Choc chip pancakes, bacon, the fancy bacon, potatoes, French toast were super delicious. Omelette is okay, I'll try soemthign else next time. This was our first time here and we were impressed with the menu and great tasting food. Only room for improvement on the food would be maybe thicker bacon slices for the million dollar bacon and more salmon on the eggs Benedict but other than that everything was perfect with our food. With the service, there's room for improvement. I'm pretty sure they're short staffed because there were tables needing to be bused and trash (napkins/silverware wrappers) flying around the patio. Our waitress also took awhile to greet us and forgot our waters but she may have had a section inside and just took in our table due to short staffing or bad communication with the hostess perhaps? However, her friendly and attentive personality made up for the simple mistakes that we were understanding of. This is a great breakfast spot to try out. I'm going to see how their Flower Mound location compares. Also one thing to note is the construction in front of it, making it a little hard to get to. The good. The food that gets to your table on time and on time makes for a fantastic experience. I ordered the Belgian waffles with a side of bacon and eggs over hard. Waffles were soft and nice touch of strawberries and whipped cream on the side. Eggs were perfectly cooked, I don't like my eggs runny! Bacon was nice, thick and delicious. I have a habit of always dipping my bacon in syrup. Yummm. The bad- Once I downed my plate of food maybe 20 minutes later and got lost in the conversation of my table, someone in my group asked where'd the "Millionare bacon" go? Oh ya... forgot about that. At this point, everyone was done eating and the waitress came by so I asked about the millionare bacon, and she said "oh thought it came out. Let me check." A few minutes later, she came with a plate of bacon with pepper and some syrup. Maybe it sounded more novel than it was but being in front of me, I was like great... it is literally bacon with syrup which is how I eat it anyways but there's a huge up charge for black pepper. Maybe I am judging it more harshly because it came after literally the whole table was done eating or there wasn't even an apology from the waitress when it came. Me and my partner loves first watch we've been to several around the metro area. Today our server was great very prompt and nice I ordered the new watermelon drink and it was really good. Our food however was unevenly cooked as you can see in one of our pictures half the bacon was not cooked all the way while the other part was burnt. The tortilla on my chickichanga was burnt then covered up with egg so I didn't see it until I was eating it. Half of my potatoes were burnt as well as seen in the photo. And as you can see it wasn't even busy for it to have that much of a rush to burn our items. Overall the ambiance was quiet and cute. I probably will not be coming back to this location other locations most likely but I feel like if I'm spending $40 on breakfast for two most of it shouldn't be Burnt. read more

Today July 4, 2024 my family choose First Watch to relax and enjoy the nice, relax atmosphere. The restaurant was full ofcourse. The waitress seated and waited on us within 5 mins of waiting. I order the breakfast meal with French toast. My family order a variety of other options. When the food came, the bacon was terribly crunchy and overcook. We asked them to bring out some non cruncky bacon and they delivered. The food and drinks today was the bare minimum. But it was when a large group of people decided to allow there 6 to 8 small kids run around the restaurant and not one staff stop the terrible act was appalling. When we went to pay, i asked the guy why didnt they do anything and the guy said, "What are we suppose to do" and brushed my concern off and went outside to water the dead plants as if we should expect this type of behavior from this restaurant. Well being we just spent damn near $130.00 plus tip for a 4 family meal. No thanks i will NEVER come back if this is the norm. Obviously it's the parents' responsibility first to make sure the kids aren't running around, but if that fails, does the restaurant have any responsibility? I should also add that aside from this waitress and the other staff, I didn't see any other front-of-house staff present, like a manager I could have spoken to. read more

I come here often with my daughter, out of town guests, and by myself. Love the French toast, love the mimosas, loves the California Benedict's. However, they did forget my avocado the last time I visited. Can't win em every time. Recently went to IHOP and had their awful food, and realized how spoiled I am by first watch! The location near north park mall is great as well. I love that you can add your name to the list ahead of time, but honestly, we never really wait for more than 25-30 minutes. They were totally fluffy white bread creations. Maple syrup available for additional $ if you don't prefer the maple flavored sugar water.
