Our waitress didn't seem to have any interest in helping us. as a former server i understand how it can be overwhelming when it's busy but maintaining customer service is very important. she lacked eye contact when greeting us and seemed dozed off. we got the new seasonal biscuits with the jam, when we received them they were cold and hard. further into our service my fiancée needed a napkin and when he turned to call her she made eye contact walked away and about 5 minutes later came back. not to mention the food was 6/10 presentation was beautiful but lacked flavor. read more

Have came here numerous times and never had a bad experience. The wait can be a little long on weekends, but if you add yourself to the list online before showing up it helps cut the wait down. They have tons of seating both indoors and outdoors. Staff is very nice and helpful. I was seated under an air conditioning unit that was leaking and had leaked into my drink and my server was very nice and replaced my drink for me. First Watch will always be old reliable. I appreciate this location because they have a vast, free parking lot. We went here on a Monday morning around 8am and we instantly got seated, but an hour later when we left the parking lot was FULL. The hostess and wait staff were very pleasant and quite efficient. We got coffee for the table but it was quite bitter. I wasn't a fan. I got the healthy turkey omelet and tres leches strawberry French toast. The healthy turkey was light and right. It was the perfect portion to be satisfied but not full. The tres leches strawberry French toast was a generous portion but far too sweet for me. It tasted like diabetes on plate. I tasted way more sugar than actual flavor in the dish. I could've lived without it. My grandpa had The Traditional with bacon and scrambled eggs. He was very happy and I loved stealing his yummy hash browns. Overall, we had a good experience and I'd come here again. In reality, it was basically the Potatoes Featuring a Supporting Cast of Eggs and Avocado. The potatoes absolutely dominated this dish. Like, ran the show. They were tasty, sure, but they completely threw off the balance. I wanted a nice harmony of flavors. What I got was a potato monologue with eggs politely waiting for their turn to speak. We also had pancakes and eggs, and credit where credit is due, that combo was very tasty. Fluffy pancakes, solid eggs, no complaints there. That plate showed us a glimpse of the First Watch we remember and miss. Overall though, it feels like First Watch has slipped out of that top breakfast spot they used to own. Went on a Saturday around noon and was able to get a table for two right away. While our food was excellent today, I first want to mention how great our server, Kelsey was. She was friendly and very knowledgeable, not only for my table, but others that I overheard next to us. Someone ordered a certain breakfast sandwich, and she said to them "that comes with an over easy egg on it, is that ok for you?" Most servers would just take the order, but she clearly has menu knowledge and knows to anticipate someone having an issue with/being surprised that it's an over easy egg. She also took our order quickly and efficiently, with modifications, and everything came out perfectly. My husband wanted to get a juice of some kind and asked her if she had any recommendations. She did a great job explaining their newest drink (Tangerine Dream) and selling him on it. But not in a sale-sy way, but an honest one. Our food came out hot and the order was perfect. I got my usual, market hash and subbed out the toast for fruit. My husband got the farmhouse hash and we shared an order of the Million Dollar Bacon. If you haven't tried it yet, it's definitely a must. Sweet and savory at the same time. Maple, peppered deliciousness! We stopped the urge to also share a pancake, but they are always great and huge. Banana granola crunch is our go-to. I also had a Morning Meditation juice which is my favorite from there. Only negative I'd say was one of the coffee cups was dirty inside, but we didn't get coffee so just moved it to the side. I was a server for many years and know there a lot many challenges with this job. Dealing with people isn't always easy. Went to First Watch for Friday morning breakfast. Very busy for a weekday. The front desk person took a few minutes to acknowledge us. He seemed focused on the cash register doing something. He finally said hi and asked how many. We were only two and were seated right away. Waitress brought coffee and water. We ordered the chicken pesto quinoa bowl. Fresh ingredients kale, crunchy carrots, feta cheese, pesto with lemon sauce. Was really good and portion was generous took some home. Also ordered the avocado toast and two eggs. I could taste the olive oil and lemon on the avocados. Wanted to try their French toast and that one was so good very soft inside. The blazing dragon drink made with dragon fruit, strawberry, lemon and cane sugar was refreshing. The million dollar bacon had too much syrup for my taste but my daughter loved it. The waitress was really nice but they took a while to get the dragon fruit drink. Probably not her fault. You pay at the front on your way out. They offer brunch until 2:30 pm. All the times I've come here the meal I recall most enjoying what is called the Trifecta: eggs, bacon or sausage, and a whole wheat pancake. Ordered it recently with sausage and added a second pancake. Was offered an individual bottle of Organic Maple Syrup for about $1.79 more so I also ordered. When choosing how to cook the eggs here I went with "basted" because, in my experience here, First Watch does a good job in preparing basted eggs. I was impressed with how the regular maple, which I take it is non-organic, comes out piping hot in a glass bottle. Thus, I tried both syrups. The server was terrific and checked back in at the table and made sure everything was as ordered. The food was nice and hot with a scoop of soft butter on the stack of pancakes. They have the regular menu and they have a limited menu as well. My twin sister and I is our birthday today so we decided to utilize the buy one and get one free deal they have on your birthday. You have to sign up for the rewards program. The coffee is not my favorite here. I think they should have more of a selection of coffee such as cappuccinos and ice coffees. They have way too many lines that are confusing the waitresses and even the customers the same line that you cash out to pay is the same line you get to get a table. Once you receive your tab you go back up to the counter that you checked in in to Pay, which the line could be crowded and a bunch of people standing around in the way. Don't get me wrong the food was pretty OK but not worth the wait. We ordered something very basic which is pancakes and eggs, which were a little bit overpriced for me but we waited 45 minutes to be served being with a toddler that can be challenging with such a long wait time to eat. read more

I decided to try First Watch for breakfast this morning. When I arrived at the restaurant, they had quite a few people waiting to be seated. I joined the "Wait Line", and was told that it would be somewhere between five and fifteen minutes before I would be called. They were pretty accurate, as it was approximately twelve minutes until I was notified to approach the front desk. It appears that the restaurant was busy and the staff was not able to cover it, as it took approximately ten minutes before my server can to the table to find out what we wanted to drink. I ordered coffee and my guest ordered water. I got my coffee almost immediately, but my guest had to wait almost fifteen minutes before she got her coffee. She ordered the waffle and I ordered two multigrain pancakes. They advertise the pancakes as humongous. They are large, but certainly not humongous. The food was good and the prices were okay. When I asked my guest if she would return to this restaurant, she said yes. read more

I'm currently sitting at the restaurant and have to express my frustration with this specific location. Time and time again, I've come here, been seated, and watched people who arrived after me get served first. I'm not trying to make this about race, but it's genuinely becoming frustrating. I always dress appropriately--often coming here after church--but the same thing keeps happening at this First Watch. Right now, it's been 15 minutes since I was seated, and four other parties have already been attended to before me. Someone finally came by to ask if we'd been helped, possibly noticing the frustration on my face. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this has happened to me multiple times, and I felt it needed to be addressed. We were comfortable in a booth, and were attended to immediately. My friend had her coffee fix While I enjoyed one of their special lemonades. We shared the millionaire bacon, and then she had a full breakfast with eggs, toast, and hashbrowns while I enjoyed a gluten-free brownie to complement my other two items. My husband ordered the kale and lemon tonic (which I had to replicate at home because it was that good). I had their multigrain pancakes, which were fluffy and large; and the kids had flavored pancakes which they enjoyed. My travels have led me to seek sustenance from numerous establishments across the continental United States. That being said, this restaurant is one of the classiest yet welcoming diners I've had the pleasure of visiting. I came with some coworkers who joked that it is probably the safest diner anywhere . There was law-enforcement, fire, highway patrol, and even some military eating- it looked like a college brochure of first responders. I enjoyed an omelette to my liking it was brought out exactly how I wanted it, and we were checked on by our waiter multiple times throughout the meal with our beverages being topped off regularly. The place was clean and not too loud, which allowed for a good amount of conversation after a job well done . I think this was the service we received, and the way in which we were welcome that goes along way. This was a great location and we will likely be back soon for more team breakfasts read more
