The service was so fast and our waitress was very attentive. We had our food within 20 minutes of ordering! I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing. I ordered a meal with an add-on that was raw in the middle. When I mentioned it, the waitress said they might give me a discount. Instead, they charged the meal à la carte, which actually cost more than the meal deal. When I questioned it, I was told it was the cheaper option, which it wasn't. Almost gave 5 stars, but the eggs could have been hotter. The bacon was a little greasy. However, it was crispy! I ordered the toast, not realizing it would be buttered. Decided I was on vacation and enjoyed every bit. Also, I didn't realize the pitcher of milk was half and half. Forgot how good it was. I usually have fat free milk. This place always has a long line and wait so don't come here if you're in a rush, but the rest is great! Service is always great! In my experience, the hosts are always pleasant and over estimate your wait time so I've always been seated more quickly than expected. We always tell them we love coffee and ask them to keep it coming so they know to refill more frequently. It's topped with pepper jack cheese, two eggs your way (I get mine over medium), smothered in pork green chile, and a side of 3 buttermilk pancakes. I love the spicy kick throughout this meal (and I add Cholula for a little more). We reserved a table online and checked-in upon arrival but still waited at least an hour and a half for a table of 3 due to it being Father's Day. We assumed service would be slow but our server (Peyton J) was absolutely incredible! The food came out quickly and was all perfect. Peyton was one of the best waiters we've had in a long time at any restaurant. Despite the extreme businesses of the restaurant, he kept our drinks full without having to flag him down and he was quick with requests like a straw, ketchup and Cholula. I've experienced the Original Pancake House in a different state and enjoying one in Colorado, it's still delicious. I haven't had it in several years and I forgot how good it was. The pancakes were fluffy and thick and hashbrowns are some of the best I ever had. Thanks for the reminder! If you like soft but crispy hashbrowns, it's a winner here. Of course I had to go on a busy day, but I didn't want to venture too far from where I was staying. The parking lot is big but of course can still fill up on a weekend for breakfast/ brunch. And inside the establishment it's just as packed, but I was able to grab a "bar seat." They were busy but it wasn't too long of a wait to get service and everyone who interacted with me was nice. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I ordered more than I can handle and since I haven't eaten here in a while I forgot how generous the portions of food are here. And it's not super expensive. It's a good price for what they give you and everything tastes fantastic. I'll be sure to visit one of the establishments again. read more

I came here with my family for a quick breakfast. It was about a 20min wait for 6 of us which went by really fast! The staff was really friendly and inviting. We sat down and our waitress came quickly for our drink orders. She was very nice and quick with our order. I got a mocha latte coffee which was pretty good. It was a little stronger tasting than I'm used to but I tolerated it. For food I ordered a peanut butter, banana, and chocolate chip pancake which was very delicious! It was not overly sweet and the peanut butter was saucy so it covered the pancake nicely. I also got a biscuit and gravy order which I was not a fan of. My biscuit was dry and the gravy was not super flavorful. I did ate most of it but it wasn't my favorite. Overall I would return for some more pancakes!
