Whenever I visit my family in Fort Collins we have breakfast at First Watch. There's a large breakfast menu and lunch specials. Eveything is good. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Father's Day and they appear to be a little unprepared for the breakfast rush. Their app interestingly did not have the option to "get in line" for this location, unlike the other locations. We had a 15 minute wait after adding our name and phone number to a wait list. Once they had our contact number, we were able to track our place in line. Nice to have water and coffee while waiting. I love that they have healthy and creative items on their menu. During this visit, I could not resist their crab omelette. Simply delicious. I love their fresh arugula. "Million dollar bacon" which was close to $5 for 4 slices was a little overrated. Nothing special. Avocado toast is yummy too, and does not disappoint! Tried their Fort Collins location. What a wonderful experience. Delicious food and unique menu; as all of their locations. But the service here is impeccable. Our server,Jordan, was so attentive and immediately made me feel comfortable, even with all of my dietary restrictions. I am so glad we gave this location a chance. I think will be making this our usual Saturday brunch spot when looking to eat out. A quick note also about dietary restrictions. She said she had another order to take first and then 5-10 minutes later we determined that we needed to leave and hit a drive-thru instead. I came into the First Watch Daytime Cafe', intrigued, because the last time I ate at that location it was a different, mediocre restaurant named The Egg and I. As I sauntered in, I noticed that the first dining area was no longer mostly booths (there are a few left along the wall), but small 4-person cafe' tables, with an attractive rubbed wood finish. The young lady responsible for that station was prompt with her greeting and menus, and then zoomed off to take care of the many other customers in a busy place (it was 12:20). As I scanned the menu, expecting the usual *meh* options for vegetarians, I was pleasantly surprised to find several yummy looking options; avocado toast (which I'll have to try the next time) and my favorite: the Market Veggie Sandwich : house-roasted crimini mushrooms, zucchini and spinach with basil pesto, mayo and Mozzarella cheese on grilled artisan whole grain bread. *Starts salivating at the memory.* I paired that with a bowl of house-made Tomato-Basil soup, which came nice and hot in a heavy high-side flat bottomed, mini crock style bowl (very stable for hot liquid products) and a blueberry muffin for dessert. It doesnt seem theres a designated server, we saw 3 different people 4 our bfast Yet none are to responsive to a request (milk 4 coffee) They do leave coffee pot at table but all the cream is chemical tubs. Our biscuit & gravy was cheap, a small pour of gravy (no meat to see). The specialty ricotta pancake was dry . Lemon curd from a jar. Cheap. Our food just resembled the pics. The host was approachable . However at the pay station , the young handsome guy was bothered to be interrupted as he was counting money . He said thankyou but never raised his eyes. Delicious fresh farm-to-table food and excellent service. Will definitely go back. I loved the menu options, especially the non-egg options because it's hard finding delicious options at a breakfast place without eggs being the main event. The menu at FW is great. I asked for water and my server brought me a filthy glass. Not just a little smudged; full on greasy finger print and lip gloss. I politely asked for another glass and she brought back the same glass rinsed off!! Really??? The give away was the lip gloss. I've worked in the industry and dirty dishes it she's get through. I get it BUT management needs to review the best way to spread salmonella poisoning is through wet dishes. The French toast was not cooked completely and I bet eggs are involved in the batter. Finally. I was told the muffin of the day was blueberry. I broke it open to see if it was cooked all the way. I thought it was strange there wasn't one blueberry visible in the muffin. Loved this place. Super friendly, bring pot of coffee to your table, outside seating could be bigger but accommodates 5-6 tables very pleasant & umbrellas for shade. Dogs allowed on deck. Had a virtual Easter brunch with food from First Watch on S. College Ave. Curbside service was extremely fast. Dropped food off at relative's house then took ours home for a virtual brunch together at the table. It was so much fun!!! The food was fantastic and very very fresh. Omg this place is disgusting. When you walk in you'll notice the funny sounds coming from everyone's shoes as they are all sticking to the floor. Hopefully, you don't get a booth seat. Such a disappointment. We had heard great reviews from friends and were looking forward to a new brunch experience. Instead we waited 50 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived almost everything was luke warm at best. The toast and waffle couldn't even be called warm. Rather than try to make things right, the manager said, it "seemed warm and sometimes waffles get cold". We didn't have 50 more minutes to wait, and the manager was too flustered to be helpful. Breakfast was solid, lot better than when the egg and I was at this location. I'd recommend the waffles or eggs Benedict. The waffles were really well done, the bacon is mediocre, probably try the sausage instead, oh and the coffee is a weird blend. I like French roast personally, maybe having 2 options would be nice. Let me start off by saying I didn't eat at The Egg & I, so this review is just based off of our recent dining experience at this newly re-branded First Watch location. We came in later in the morning, closer to noon, and were seated promptly in the additional room, service was fine.. but my bf and I immediately experienced very unpleasant stomach aches shortly after we left, and that totally ruined the experience for us. My kiddo was pretty hungry and wanted not only french toast, but a pancake, so we ended up ordering two kids' breakfast entrees. If the server would have given us a heads up on how giant those plates are, I would have told him to pick just one. Since we're not masochists, this was a first, and last watch for us. read more

We were looking forward to visiting this First Watch because we've enjoyed other locations. Unfortunately the visit didn't turn out well. We sat at the community table among the detritus of other diner's discarded food crumbs, dirty dishes and abused napkins for over 40 minutes. Our pleas to have a clean table were ignored as some staff made eye contact, ignored our waves and retreated to hide in the kitchen. How management allows a table with active patrons, located directly near the front door in a highly visible location nonetheless, remain in such a disgusting condition makes one wonder how bad the kitchen looks... Nasty. In their defense it was graduation weekend and they were busy so I added a pity star for that. Still no excuse the table was left in that condition, especially since a lull occurred after minute 20 and nobody acknowledged us or the gross table. However busy they were, it's still no excuse that all 3 managers in staff neglected the floor. I'd rather wait an extra 5 minutes for food than sit among food waste and garbage while I dine. read more
