The service was horrible. The atmosphere loud and obnoxious. We waited for our food for almost two hours ...Then when the fo od arrived it wasn't even cooked all the way. We couldn't even get an extra napkins. We normally go to village inn. In loveland, I would tell everyone the village inn is the best service , food .all of the above-mentioned. Made me and my family wait for our food for over an hour. Service was bad, the only time we talked to the waitress was when she took our order and got our drinks. They never came and checked on us. Meanwhile, the table in front of us was a table of 8 and got their way after us and still got their food before us. We were a table of 6 and ended up leaving. Horrible Service and Health Concerns - Dirty Glass & Cold Food We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Denny's. When we arrived, we couldn't find a server, so we eventually had to seat ourselves. Once we finally ordered, I got the All-American Slam (eggs over easy) and a Coke; my girlfriend ordered the T-bone steak (medium). The most frustrating part was watching our food sit under the heat lamp for a long time. The cook kept ringing the bell, and the waitress was standing right there, but she ignored it to focus on to-go orders that hadn't even been picked up yet. By the time we got our food: The steak was overcooked (well-done instead of medium). The eggs were undercooked (the whites were not set). The Coke glass was dirty--it still had someone else's lipstick on the rim. Finding a used glass at my table is completely unacceptable and a major health violation. 3 months ago: First off I've never eaten at this location. It's been a very long time since I've eaten at any Dennys. I've only been here because of picking up food deliveries. But this location stinks so bad. Smells of cigarettes and peoples homes where they never clean EVER. Food is awful anyway. Plus most of the servers are rude assholes. Well, they have a problem. The food is fine, typical Denny's. I walked in and they just had a person quit. The waitress, who was working overtime so that we customers had someone to serve us, told us that's the fifth person to quit in two days. Apparently the owner is a micromanager with no consideration for his employees (correcting them in front of customers, bad hours, etc.). Not well run. Stay away. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Normally I have nothing but good things to say about this one, as a local and regular. But I got their Brisk-It-All Melt and was wondering why it was dry and the flavor was off. Turns out they'd forgotten the sauce and pickle. That was several months ago and they told me at the time it's because they had new chefs. I ordered the same thing tonight and they made the exact same mistake, and also it was because "they had new chefs". I just don't get it. How hard is it to make a sandwich? I have been to Denny's all over the country, and this one BY FAR is the absolute WORST one I have ever been to!! When we walked in, there were dirty dishes and dirty tables everywhere. Initially, I assumed that they had a rush prior to our arrival, so I don't think much of it. However, as our dining experience continued it was quite obvious that was not the case. As we watched diners leave, nobody went and bussed the tables. We were there for over an hour with not one table bussed. Over half of the tables were dirty. And people wonder why covid is still spreading. There were 3 employees that we saw. I did not catch any names, but according to our receipt our server was Dominick- he was doing his best running around trying to get everything done he possibly could, but he is only one person and can only do so much by himself. I have absolutely no complaints about him. He was great and should get a raise or promotion or find a job where he's appreciated-in my opinion. However, there was also the hostess and another male there (who wore his hat backwards and had definite attitude) who we were more than unimpressed with. My husband and I witnessed the hostess chase after a customer claiming they hadn't paid, when even I, as a customer, watched them do so. She came back inside mad asking the server if they had paid, and when he said yes, she just laughed about it and said well I ran after them thinking they didn't. If she would have communicated with the rest of the staff, or even paid attention to her own job, she would have known that -instead, she just made herself look like a fool. When our food arrived, we had to request silverware and our server was definitely embarrassed we hadn't received any. He apologized and promptly got them for us. My hash browns were incredibly greasy and so were my daughters. My husband had the mozzarella sticks and said the sauce was absolutely disgusting. We asked for some ranch instead from the male with the backwards hat, and he seemed incredibly put out we would ask for something from him and said they were out of ranch. So, my husband had to eat dry mozzarella sticks, which he didn't even finish because let's be real who wants to eat dry mozzarella sticks?! Then, all of the sudden loud music starts bumping in the restaurant that I promise you is not Denny's approved music. The hostess brought us our check, and I asked for the music to be turned down. She asked the male to turn down his music. He did, but immediately he starts loudly complaining that he has the right to listen to whatever he wants. He's absolutely correct he can listen to whatever he wants on his OWN time, when my child is not present being subjected to it. My daughter is disabled and bumping music sets off her neurological issues. There is a reason only certain music is allowed in public places (like restaurants) she and people like her is one of them. Beyond that, when I went to pay, the hostess apologized for the loud music, and I stated, "There's a lot more wrong with this place than that." She just looked down and said nothing more. She gave me my change, and I asked if they had to-go cups. She said, "Yes, wait here I'll grab you one. Do you want to-go coffees also or just for the juice?" I stated, "Just for the juice." She, instead of bringing me back the cup, where she told me to wait, took the cup to the table and asked my husband if we wanted to-go coffees (like I'm too stupid to know we didn't? I don't know what the point of that was, but it was definitely rude)! He reiterated, "No, we do not." I had made it back to the table at this point, and realized she hadn't given me a receipt, so I went back up to the front and asked for one. She handed it to me and we promptly left. NEVER again. This Denny's is absolutely horrible!!!! I do not recommend it one bit!! Don't waste your time or money! We spent $40 on a crappy meal in an even worse environment. Denny's you seriously need to send someone to fix or shut down this place it's a train wreck and a complete joke! Also, you're receiving one star only because negative stars isn't a thing. If it were up to me, this place would receive negative 5 stars and be shut down! our visit to this awful place was early Sunday morning 10/10/2021. read more

Went to Denny's on a whim early this morning and I'm so glad I did! I got the country fried steak and eggs -- top notch. It was the perfect amount of food and super affordable, which is a huge factor when considering places to eat in this town. The service was great too! Jasmine was awesome the entire time and took care of a lot of people at once. She was attentive, quick, responsive, personable, and honestly made my overall experience super positive. Most importantly though when it comes to breakfast... she kept my coffee full (the true hallmark of a solid diner). Denny's shouldn't be overlooked when choosing a place to eat. Their menu is stacked full of good stuff, the staff is friendly, they're fast, and they still play Otis Redding on the radio. The pancake is so delicious it has a lot of chocolate I love the sausages are perfectly cooked and the baking is so crispy and the orange juice has no pulp in it I like the football is so good it tastes really fresh and every time I come here I always get the same spot and do you know the pancakes it's floating it says pick up here it's cool and that's a cute hat and the waiter we how is so sweet. We used to love to go to dennys as we always felt it was good food for the money, they were always accommodating when it came to switch items out for others and for the most part the food came out as you ordered it. Not sure what happened..... looks like the new menu came out and everything's seams to me $3-4 more and they want to upcharge everything. Literally everything is an upcharge now!! we love to travel as a family and this was always the go to because we could always count on them to be open no matter the hour of the day or night and it has always be a bang for your buck.... Might have to find a new go to place. Super bummed out. price gouging in an economic time where it's already hard is not cool. The food was good though. read more
