My husband and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. Very busy. We ordered California Benedict, and oatmeal. After sometime, the folks next to us left. New people were seated. As we continued to wait, these people were served. The waiter stated our order should be out anytime. We had been seated for 40 minutes. That's when we walked out. I did contact First Watch. They apologized and offered to send me a complimentary meal to try again. That was in November. I received nothing. I will continue to frequent IHOP. read more

The food is good, the service is horrible! The app said wait time was 20-30 minutes, we waited for 45 minutes. To top it of the hostess said we were up next, but then proceeded to sit 2 different parties before sitting us. When we finally get a table the coffee mugs are DIRTY! Coffee stains and she just pours the coffee in as if they were ready to be used. Poor follow up, asking if we needed anything or if we wanted anything additional simply brought the check. The only reason I bring it up is because they'd ask other tables if there was anything else they needed. Worst experience I've had in a really long time. Oh and they charge tax 3x, each person is a seat and gets taxed and then the overall tax... this was a place recommended by a friend but maybe the one downtown is better, the one in Arrowhead is horrible! read more

What is with the staff at this location? We walked in there were about 5 servers huddled at the register, one which sat us at our table and then went back to the huddle with the other servers. It took a good 5-7 minutes for someone to finally come out and offer us for coffee. The servers continued their chit chatting/ huddle even after we kept staring, paying no regard to their customers. First Watch is a family favorite! The seasonal tostada plate was surprisingly delicious. I wasn't sure about the feta cheese but it actually worked quite well! But my ultimate favorite is the avocado toast plate with the basted eggs. This was our second time having Jimmy as our server and the first time he was being trained. Visiting family from out of town and decided to come here for Christmas Eve. Went in with my wife and my brother before going shopping. Wait time was reasonable given its a holiday. Anyhow, after we're seated we had plenty of time to look over the menu before our server came by. By the time she swung by she took our drink orders, 2 coffees and an iced tea for myself. Approximately 20 mins later our food arrived and I had no iced tea while my wife and brother drank their coffee; even after she swung by once prior to our food being delivered acknowledging the missing tea. Shortly after our food was delivered, she finally dropped off my iced tea, she dropped off an extra glass too (not sure what made her think that dropping an extra glass would solve the poor service). We all enjoyed our meal, food was great. By the time we were ready to pay she dropped off our bill. As I took the bill I noticed the items we ordered were incorrect, which I speculated as an incorrect bill balance. We waited a few more minutes to see if our server would come back, but never did so that we would ask for the correct bill. Being impatient enough I walked over to the front to pay and asked for the correct bill. The lady working in the front acknowledged my concern and went back to the kitchen to retrieve the correct bill, only to come back with another wrong one. As she was about to ring me up for the wrong one I assertively asked for the bill again to review. Both were wrong. I asked her why? No clear answer. After asking a few more logical questions as to why our bill was incorrect, her final answer was "I can't seem to find your check, it appears as if it was closed out, perhaps someone payed for it." At the point I just thought to myself "well if someone closed it out, then we're done here given the poor service, I aint going to argue that." So, we just walked out and left. Overall, I would give a 5 star review if we had received decent service, which masked everything else; I would give 0 stars if it weren't for their mistake of losing our bill. Honestly won't come here again when I visit over the holidays. read more

My First time here was Tuesday, the host was very pleasant and the lady who dropped off my food was attentive. The food was down right delicious and they have a super clean environment...the turning point was my server. I'm POSITIVE he was on drugs. His body language, eyes, and slurred speech made me feel like I was on the rough side of down town Phoenix, walking by a circle k...Everything in our visit was perfect EXCEPT our server. We felt uncomfortable every time he walked by. My wife and child was with me, I couldn't believe this was happening. I wanted to leave half way through our visit, but didn't want to cause a scene, plus we already ordered our food...I believe the manager checked us out, but no one seemed to notice my sprung out server except me, my wife, and anyone else who came into contact with him. Went to First Response yesterday checked in, was told 15 mins, sat down outside 20 mins went by, very hot, went inside to wait, watched more and more people get seated that arrived after me, I thought maybe cuz more people I wud 2, but then I saw 2 people that had arrived at least 20 mins after me get seated so I spoke up, this was after being there 50 mins! They said I wasn't on the list! And I had even gotten a confirmation text! They seated us right away and apologized and compt the meal. We were there a total of 1 hour 45 mins for breakfast. Hit this place on a Saturday morning. It was busy but we were seated pretty fast. I ordered a simple breakfast of bacon and eggs, whole my son had an omelet. First watch has a great atmosphere and tasty selections. Our waitress was friendly and accomodating, the coffee is fantastic. However, the favorite breakfast of mine is really quite high in calories so I opted for a more healthy choice, the power wrap. When I went to upload the info into my meal tracker the sodium blew me out of the water. 8,000 in one wrap!! That is 4'xs the daily allowance. Not a healthy option at all. I hope corporate or the local kitchen with take a note and experiment with some herbs or something and put the salt shaker down. Really glad I only ate, 1/2 took the other half home to have for lunch, but unfortunaltey it is going to feed my trash can.
