    Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos

The wait was pretty long only because it was busy for the holiday. But considering how busy it was I felt like I got seated within a decent amount of time. The staff is very friendly. My waitress was top tier she did so great I actually tip her more than my actual bill was. Amazing staff. I ordered the farm stand breakfast tacos. They are like the best tacos I've ever had. Food was amazing. I will definitely be visiting this location again in the future.

Visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Hampton and wanted brunch before heading out of town. First Watch is consistently a good choice! Breakfast snd sandwich choices. Great Holiday menu with drinks too! We got the Trifecta and the Ham & Gruyère melt. A mimosa and a coke to boot! All Yummo!! The service was super friendly and it carries a modern crunchy vibe. Festive for the Holidays! We even heard a very loud rendition of Happy Birthday to the General Manager! We thoroughly enjoyed!

Our server was amazing (Mar - not sure on the spelling)! She answered questions, asked questions for clarity to ensure we got exactly what we ordered. The food was food as always. I had the holiday special - Double Bacon Parmesan hash. I wish I had more cream sauce and the potatoes were not as soft as at other locations. Nonetheless, it was good and I'll order it again!! They have a decent amount of tables. I like how they decorated the photos as gifts in the holiday season. I'll be back!

My favorite breakfast place. Service is always awesome. Restaurant and the bathrooms are always clean. Also the little stickers they give out randomly are adorable.

We were seated right away, at the last hour of the days business, with almost a full house. Quick and friendly service. Food was served fast and hot and fresh. A pretty busy place with lots of staff, good to see. Cute decor and clean.

Well as most of my followers know I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but I've always liked the First Watch locations I've visited and the Hampton location is no different. Today the wifey and I both got the Traditional. Both with 2 eggs over medium, turkey sausage and potato's. As for the meal - it was very good and hit the spot. Let's talk about service because that's what really shined today. Our server - Zachary (Zac) was absolutely great. I mean this fella greeted us at the door and sat us down. 2-3 minutes later he was collecting our order. Within maybe another 3 minutes we had our drinks and maybe 8 minutes later we had our meals. Zac checked on us several times and kept our drinks full. He was outstanding. Now here is another kicker. During our meal another person (lady) didn't catch her name, I'm assuming a manager, came to our table and the tables around and made sure our meal and time there was good. That was a very unusual service and I noticed how rare that was. So basically a real descent meal with outstanding service. As for the location. It's in a strip mall and had plenty of parking. The restaurant appeared well cared for and clean. We didn't use the restrooms which is often a real tell of a location. So listen if you're hungry, go ahead and give this place a try. I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

Use the app online to check in faster before arriving! I live First Watch! It's me go to whenever I have time to brunch on the weekend. We went this time to use a gift card we received. I loved the new drink they had, the hibiscus punch. Very refreshing! I was also super excited about my favorite pancake, cinnamon chip. However, it was a little burned. I know the chips make it a different texture, but I didn't eat over half of it because it just was too hard. It was very disappointing. My husband enjoyed his burrito and the rest of my breakfast was delish. 4 STARS! I know I'll be back and this was a fluke. I still love First Watch!

Jennifer was amazing. Super dope server who was hilarious. My first time at this location. My food was so good. Service was top notch. I chose the turkey bacon sandwich but subbed for the million dollar bacon. Great choice. We'll be back STAT!

Although first watch is a chain, we found ourselves feeling well taken care of and the food was delicious and fresh. Our server was great, very sweet and attentive. I got one of the "hash" breakfast dishes while my husband got one of their seasonal items - the carnitas quesadilla. Both were yummy!

Are customers available to make reservations?

You can reserve seating ahead of time (same day) with their app or on yelp, then you have 15-20 mins to check into the restaurant.

Does first watch serve alcoholic beverages? Mimosas, sangria, etc?

I don't know why so many people said no to this, they have several alcoholic beverage options. They're listed under the juice choices on the drink menu! They usually have some seasonal options as well that they have on the big chalkboard.

Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)

It's high-end, which I barely touch due to pricing, but it does not hurt to try something new. Let's see how the evening went. After our entire party arrived, we were all promptly seated. Inside, the decor is perfect. From the bar to the dining area, everything was spotless. You can tell the staff really cares about keeping the place tidy. And they had New Orleans-style music playing through the sound system. Very relaxing. After looking through the menu, I was ready to place my order. I chose their fish special, which was salmon with veggies and a sauce (forgot the name). This dish was very good. It was probably the best cooked salmon I've ever had. When you see seafood with the perfect crust and a lot of flavor, you're in heaven. It did have a small bone and I felt it lacked the amount of squash and zucchini, but again, a wonderful meal. There was one situation which resulted in only a 4-star review. Out of curiousity, I saw on Facebook that they offered $5 discounts. I did let my party know and we were all ready to use them when the bill was ready. But the staff told us the discount was to be used on a table rather than an individual ticket. When we looked both on Facebook and our personal emails, none of that verbage was mentioned. Not trying to sound harsh, but please be sure to state every detail foe customers. We do want to find ways to save some cash out of our wallets. Except for the discount mishap, the visit turned out well. I can say I'll be back to give them anothee go-around. Till next time :)

This has been high on my "want to try" for a long time and finally saw an opportunity with an available reservation, went for it and am so happy I did. I dined solo, which I rarely do, but this was the perfect place for it. It was apparent that most people dining were regulars. The owner was chatting with just about everyone and diners were popping over to other tables to say hello, as well. Felt like a very small town. Service was perfect - not overbearing, but perfectly timed for a good flow throughout dinner. Their menu changes often, so some of the items I loved, may not be available - but it does seem like their fried oysters are a mainstay and holy moly, they were delicious. I had one cocktail - I believe it was called Watermelon Sugar. It had vodka, aperol and fresh watermelon. Refreshing and smooth. I tried two apps: the fried oysters and the bao buns. Both were fantastic. Perfectly prepared, so much flavor. I think that next time, I would stick to the appetizer section and try many rather than getting an entree. I got the scallops, which were delicious, but the apps wow-ed me more. Prices aren't low, but you get what you pay for - really high quality dishes with lots of thought and execution embedded. I don't say this lightly - this has been added to my top 10 list in all of Hampton Roads!

I started with the buffalo chicken mozzarella sticks, but they weren't for me so I sent them back. One thing we all agreed on--the drinks were AMAZING. Definitely strong and well-made, they did not disappoint at all. We started with drinks and ordered a mimosa flight (around $36) with four different flavors--mango, passion fruit, and a couple lemon-based ones. My friend also got a lavender mimosa. Individual mimosas were about $12 each, which is a little pricey but pretty typical for brunch. For food, we tried several items. The shrimp and grits were good, but not the best I've had. The bell peppers were cut pretty large, which I didn't love, but overall it was good. We also ordered the Biscoff pancakes. The flavor was fine, but the texture was not it. They looked thin but were actually really dense and thick. We prefer lighter, fluffier pancakes, so these were a miss. Honestly, you kind of needed something like milk to get through them because they were that heavy. The Nana's Chicken plate was good, solid, no complaints. It was almost like a sampler platter which I enjoyed. The turkey sausage was also good. The deviled eggs, though, were very underwhelming. They honestly just tasted like plain eggs nothing special. The highlight of the meal was definitely the short rib bruschetta. It was delicious and easily the best thing we had. My only note would be that there were a lot of tomatoes I would've preferred a little less, but overall it was really, really good. Service was fine. Our waitress was nice, but nothing stood out, it was standard service. The atmosphere was also nice. We sat at a high-top table; the space looks a little small, but there's actually enough room to move around. It wasn't too loud or too quiet and the food presentation was nice as well. One thing to note is that the menu seems to change. My friends had been here about seven months ago and said the previous menu was amazing, everything they had before was delicious. This time around, though, it just wasn't giving the same experience. If this had been their first visit, they probably wouldn't have come back. Overall, I'd say Sate was just okay this time around. A decent brunch though. I'd probably wait until they update their menu and maybe give it another try, since it seems like they've done better in the past.
