Shout out to this place for giving my son a pre-meal snack that was actually healthy. They had first asked if it was okay to bring him some carrots and oranges which was totally fine by us. Okay, this place absolutely ate. And our server?? Literally the coolest. He had such a chill vibe. He was so cool the whole time. He made sure my boyfriend's gluten allergy was accommodated, checked in at all the right times. You know when someone is just naturally good at their job? That was him. The female manager was an actual icon. When she dropped off our drinks she made a little joke that instantly made us laugh. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and so does her staff. It just made the whole experience such a vibe. We got the ahi poke bowl and the fish tacos, and both were so good. We also brought our dog, so we sat on the patio. I stopped in to try the $13 lunch special. I tried a blueberry hef but sadly, the beer wasn't cold. I complained to the bartender and he said he had been warned about it when he came to work that day. Why are you serving warm beer? Should've been my next question, but I just shrugged it off and hope to take it off my bill which he didn't. For my $13 plate I decided on the hamburger it was juicy delicious cooked perfectly. The bun was a soft, delicious brioche. The fries were cooked perfectly crispy yet not overcooked. It was a Tuesday so they had a $10 martini special. I chose a espresso martini that I really enjoyed. It was made perfectly. I called over the manager after getting my bill and asked about the beer. She said she was aware but she had checked all the temperature gauges on everything and they were correct and I said well you still have a problem and you shouldn't be serving this beer and I asked her to remove it from my bill, which she did. As a bartender, if I know there is a problem with a product I personally don't serve that product. My server was polite and efficient and otherwise this would've been a five star review but knowingly serving warm beer knocks them down a notch! read more

If I could make sure you try one thing when visiting Eureka! over in Henderson, it would ABSOLUTELY be that you try their smash burger. Now I like all kinds of burgers and more often than not, smash burgers especially, but this one hit. the. spot. Served hot and fresh, with crispy fries to pair, it's the perfect midday bite especially when you're in the mood for something salty and savory. Happy dance with fries in hand, it's sure to satisfy your burger cravings. For drinks, I tried the monthly cocktail - which I didn't like too much..so I sent it back and swapped for the spa day margarita. Fresh, light and lovely, just how you'd want a margarita post-spa day to taste. For lunch, sat at the bar, service was great and quick. Inside the restaurant, it felt light and airy, as they kept the windows to outside patio seating and the front entrance door open during but still moody and darker in the lounge corner of the space to the left. We hadn't been here in about a year so we decided to have a spontaneous date night and go to dinner here one night when my husband and I both didn't feel like cooking haha. It was a weeknight so wasn't too busy and we were greeted by the hostess and seated right away. Our server was really nice. They have a really good variety of food but I would say they are most well known for their burgers and whiskey drinks. We ended up ordering the mac and cheese balls to start. They're so dang good. I could eat so many of those and the dipping sauce is a perfect combo with it. I also orderd a mocktail and was glad to see they had a variety of them. I peer pressured my husband into getting a smoked old fashioned and it smelled delicious haha. To eat, I ordered the salmon and really enjoyed it. The side of potatoes was delicious and smothered in some type of garlic sauce! The green beans were good, too. This is such a trendy and cool spot. Love the inside and outside feeling. I would love to come here for the happy hour! Mondays is $10 martinis, and the espresso martinis were good! I would strongly reckoned the appetizers, the three we ordered were very impressive! Yet another place I had driven past multiple times but never had the opportunity to stop, this time. I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did, cuz this looks like a cool place to grab a bite to eat or spend in the evening having a whiskey or two or three. The whole staff was super friendly and nice. The lady at the front informed me that they have a whiskey club, where for 85 bucks a month you get a hand curated bottle with high-end whiskey. She told me that most times the bottle is definitely pricier than the $85 fee. If I didn't already have 50 bottles in my bourbon collection, I would have jumped on this in a heartbeat. I did not dine in this time around, so I'll have to judge it on the takeout experience. They have a cool little waiting area that almost has an ultra lounge vibe to it. Super comfy couches and chairs. Great seating area to hang out in. They have great outside seating. Very comfortable with an upgraded feel. They have a water feature and a fire pit and makes for a very nice outdoor dining experience if weather permits. Inside, they have a great bar which looks absolutely well stocked and clean. I will definitely be coming back here for a beer, oral whiskey... Or both. I appreciate the fact that I did not have to wait very long for the food to be prepared. It came out faster than I expected and was packaged perfectly. I ordered the barbecue bacon burger which was absolutely amazing. Super thick burger patty, with bacon, barbecue sauce, and fried onion strips. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. Make sure you upgrade to the truffle fries, as those are worth every penny. Also ordered the fresno burger which came with goat cheese, arugula and a wonderful jam that really accentuated the whole meal. The only issue I run into when getting food to go, especially if it involves french fries is, the warmth of the food can create kind of a steam bath inside of the container that they put it in so the fries lose a little bit of their crispness. The good news was in this case the fries were done so perfectly that they still had some crunch when I got back home. Bottom line? We were in the mode for some bar food and Eureka ! We found a place. Actually Eureka has been on our list and it was the perfect time to give them a try. We arrived maybe around 4 or 5 and it wasn't busy at all. We were greeted right away at the door and seated promptly. We waited a few minutes for our server to get to us but it being so early there were only 2 servers. Once she came over she was very friendly and attentive. Thankfully she pointed out it was happy hour and showed us the menu. We ended up ordering a few appetizers and a burger which was perfect. We also had 2 drinks and they were very good. We had the Wild child and spa day and very flavorful. Now I wish the mac and cheese balls came out before the burger and brussel sprouts but oh well. Now the brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese balls were good. I've been watching this place since they first built it by my house on Saint Rose, so I was really excited to finally try it. A friend came down to visit, and this was the first spot I took him to eat and we loved everything about it! He tried a few whiskey flights and really enjoyed them. I went with my go-to, a French 75, which was perfect. We started with the fried mac & cheese balls, and OMG they were amazing! For our meals, we both got burgers. My friend went with the burger special of the week and said it was so good. I always swap my fries for sweet potato fries (my favorite), and they were cooked perfectly. So I came here twice in a matter of a week. The first time was for a quick lunch, since it's near work and because I liked the food and ambiance, the second time was NYE dinner with my man. Both times, the food took a while to come out. Granted, I understand why it took long during NYE dinner BUT not at lunch when there weren't that many people in the restaurant. Regardless, the food was great.. my favorite is the cheese steak but the steak frites is on the up and up... it was a very tender steak with the chimichurri... it was just beautiful... so as long as you're willing to wait, it's great spot to try... would I go back again? Having not visited a Eureka location almost 6 years, we weren't sure what to expect from a place we really enjoyed back in California. We popped in for "Hoppy" Hour, and while it was initially pretty quiet, it was nice to chat with the bartenders and GM and take in the comfy vibe while sipping on $6 beers. I was hopeful the beer selection for hoppy hour would have had more stuff I've not tried, there were a few new beers I hadn't had, and I really enjoyed the Maui Brewing Pineapple Wheat. Since food was also discounted during Happy Hour, and we had already enjoyed a few beers on an empty stomach, we jumped on the Fried Pickles, Mac n Cheese Balls and split a Burger. The Mac N Cheese balls were alright, they had a slight spice but it just felt like there were missing something. The Eureka American burger was solid, cooked as requested, and just a tasty no frills burger with decent fries. The star of the show were the Fried Pickles! Holy moly, these were perfect; crunchy well seasoned batter that held up nicely, and a flavorful pickle chip inside with a brine-y punch. Rarely do you get fried pickles that stay together (the pickles love to slide out and leave you with just a batter shell in your hand and a mouth full of pickle), but their batter stayed put and stayed crunchy. These will always be something we order! We finally ended our marathon visit with the Bourbon Barrel Cake which was decadent without being overly sweet, and paired fantastic with The Bruery's Black Tuesday that was on draft. I will say, despite stellar service, nice ambiance, and tasty food, it felt like a long wait for each food item considering how few guests were there. I didn't want to dock a star, but over 15 min for an order of fried pickles, with only two other parties in the restaurant, seemed a little excessive. At least the beers were reasonably priced during happy hour, but something I hope is improved before our next visit. Overall, I feel like this is a good value for happy hour, food quality is great, and feels very hip compared to any other restaurant close by. I met up with my co-workers for Happy Hour, and to start, we shared the truffle cheese fries with truffle salt, Parmesan, chives and with white truffle cheese sauce on the side and the nachos with refried beans, chipotle, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes and cilantro. For my main dish, I had half of the Black and Blue Mushroom Burger with blue cheese, mushrooms, whiskey onions, arugula and Calabrian chilli aioli and saved the rest to take home. We were here on a Saturday night around 7, seated right away. Started with cocktails: eureka sour & campfire. Both were great! Shared sticky pork belly bites. FIRE!! It was so good we ordered another one. Entrées: spicy chicken sandwich with side of French fries. Their coleslaw is not your typical one. Which honestly it was waaaay better. We saved best for last, their dessert!! I'm not usually a fan of caramel sauce - but this was certainly an exception. I love Eureka! While I haven't visited this Henderson location in person yet, I've been a customer at several of their California locations and usually order takeout. The food has always been outstanding. For this style of food, Eureka serves some of the best meals I've ever had. My personal favorites are the Bone Marrow Burger and the Ribeye Philly Cheesesteak--both are absolutely incredible and packed with flavor. Every order I've had has been consistently delicious, and the quality has always exceeded my expectations. Stopped for dinner mid-week, pretty quiet so we were allowed our choice of seating. We picked the patio of course. Crispy Brussels sprouts were amazing! Highly recommend. Wish the serving was a tad bit larger. The three of us each would have liked a few more. Server was friendly and kept an eye on the table without bothering us. Napa chicken sandwich had great flavor and came with fries. Fish tacos were also good but came with fries by default. You have to pay a $3 upcharge to get street corn with them. The grilled cheese with tomato soup came with a lot of tomatoes on the sandwich. My daughter had to take most of them out so she wasn't overwhelmed with tomato flavor! Overall a good experience. I have never in my life seen a smaller portion of fish and chips. I actually laughed when they brought out the plate. They took it back, agreeing it was too small a portion and brought it back with an extra crumb they dug out of the bottom of the deep fryer. We walked in there on a Saturday night without reservation and were able to snag a table very quickly, we were a party of 3 and sat at a nice and clean table. The waiter was super nice and attentive, we started with appetizers, we got the pretzel bites with a dip, and they were actually pretty good and plenty for the 3 of us. For dinner I decided to go with the tomato soup that came with the grilled cheese. I was actually very impressed with the portion size, it was a big bowl and it was delish, very creamy, very tasty, the grilled cheese was ok, I didn't really care for the giant slices of tomato it had. I decided to also get a side of their "corn" in a cup, and that was a big NO. It was supposed to be their interpretation of "esquites" which is a Mexican treat, that is steamed corn kennels with some broth, some lime, mayo, and graded cheese. This corn had what it appeared to be sour cream and it wasn't tasty at all, it was bland. I couldn't finish it, there was no flavor to it and if you know Mexican food, you know the flavors kick in as soon as you take the first bite, this wasn't the case, rather disappointing. Their drink menu had plenty alcoholic beverages, including beer which my friends really appreciated, they also had a few mocktails which is always a plus in my book, I decided to go with their passion fruit lemonade I believe and it was ok, a bit too sour so if I had to do it again, I probably would have shush stayed with water lol. For dessert we decided to have the cheesecake that came with some berries and some sauce, it was a beautiful little cake, and it was actually pretty good, I wouldn't say the best I've ever had but it was a nice little treat. The prices were fair, I'd say average of the rest of the restaurants around the same area but fairly cheaper compared to the strip or inside the casinos/hotels. The place had dimmed lights which made it nice and personal even though the establishment was fairly big, they had a full bar and clean restrooms. We came here with a pretty large group, and Eureka! in Henderson was great. The service was excellent--our server was attentive and handled the big party really well. We started with the pretzels and cheese sauce along with the fried pickles. Both appetizers were good--the pretzels were hot and fluffy, and the breading on the pickles was very crispy. For my main, I ordered the Fish and Chips. The portion was very generous, and the fish had a great crunch on the outside while staying tender inside. I could have used a bit more tartar sauce given how much fish there was, but overall it was a great dish. Instead of the usual fries, the dish came with smashed fingerling potatoes that were pan-crisped, which the server explained ahead of time. FIRST IMPRESSION: open-concept and contemporary. Pops of plant life. Plenty of seating whether regular tables, booths, high-tops, sofas, or patio. A geometric theme is apparent, with the wooden geometric ceiling fixture above the bar serving as the focal point. SERVICE: Danny was personable and funny. He checked on us constantly and gave us suggestions on the menu. THE FOOD: For starters, my table and I had the TRUFFLE CHEESE FRIES and CRISPY GLAZED BRUSSEL SPROUTS. Both were good, but I preferred the latter. I got the JALAPENO EGG BURGER as my main dish and upgraded to the MAC N CHEESE BITES as my side. We saved room for the BOURBON BARREL CAKE, which was rich and decadent. THE DRINKS: Between my siblings and I, we tasted about five or six different cocktails, but the winner of the night was unanimously "UNCHARTED FORESTS" a gin-based drink with pandan! We finally tried this place after seeing its cool decor from afar! We were very curious and this place was as beautiful inside as we imagined. The food was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked. The chimichurri added great flavor. The fries were a great addition. The spicy chicken sandwich was a fierce competitor against the Chicken and Pickle sandwiches. We loved it. This place is both intimate and relaxed. Football was on their screens by the bar but it didn't take over the ambience, leaving room for conversation and a great date night dinner. One of the worst if not the worst experiences. Waiters and waitresses are in the service industry and depend on tips and I'm always minimum 20%+ tipper except this time. Our group didn't get acknowledged for 15 minutes even though the waitresses passed by several times. We came here for 2 things, checking out their outside space for an upcoming event I'm looking to book. And for something to eat. Floyd is the GM was amazing to work with. We walked thru the space and was very happy of how he's able to help us with the upcoming event. As it's new, decor and layout are great, inside and out. We are excited to host an event here. Now to grab some food to eat. It was still happy hour, we got to order some spirits plus food from the HH menu and regular menu. Danny was great to help us with the food and drinks orders. Great service from him from the moment we sat until we left. Truffle fries is good. The cheese dip on the side is the way to go. The ahi tuna, good and refreshing a nice kick of spice. Double burger, it's huge. We got the cheese balls instead of fries for $3. Worth it to try it. Margarita on the HH menu, a go to! Enjoyed that. We sat to the left side of the bar. I enjoyed it as it's a warm dining room feel. We will be back. read more
