Asked to substitute greens for potatoes and had to remind them. Asked for eggs over easy but they came out over hard. By the time I noticed the waitress was not around so did not bother to exchange that! The elevated egg sandwich was pretty good but overall- just meh! That is all I can muster. I recently visited First Watch on price plaza and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The customer service was great, but the food has gone downhill consistently since we started eating here. The latest disappointment was when we each ordered the chorizo omelette, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that there was approximately 1 tablespoon of chorizo in each of our omelettes. I feel like the portions are relatively small, but the food always hits the spot. The hash was so good with the bits of pork belly and kimchi. Loved topping it off with a sunny side up egg. For the trifecta breakfast, I was able to replace the waffle with the cinnamon chip pancake, which I've been wanting to try. It was delightful, and the cinnamon chips had a nice crunch to them with every bite. The scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked, so next time I'd probably go for a sunny side up egg. read more

Never checked in on us during the meal and dropped the check at the table and walked away before we finished eating. Underwhelmed, I have been to others that are SO much better. The service was good but the BLT Eggs Benedict and the side of bacon were cold. The poached eggs were very undercooked with really runny whites, the bacon was not freshly fried and they only put the cheese on top of the cheesey grits rather than mixing it in, so it was clumpy and bland. This review is based off of 2 visits in the last 1 week. One was during the week and the other on a Sunday morning! Both visits are service was fine; it was pretty standard. The food on our 1st visit was great! Everything was as we asked on the 1st try! However, our 2nd visit was not so much. Idk why people feel as if everyone like parsley and cilantro but I don't and Ive never had it randomly put on my eggs before. So they recooked my eggs which then came out runny. Bacon definitely under cooked. Had to pretty much send my whole plate back. My potatoes were not cooked completely and had to send them back not once but 4 times before they came out right. And I felt bad sending them back but I was very clear i wanted them completely cooked, actually I wanted them over cooked. Looking at the pictures; uou can see the difference. By the time they did come out we were done eating. Honestly the only things i enjoyed this 2nd trip was the juice and avocado. The other person was happy with all their food. Ok so first I want to start with the shrimp and grits. I was so excited considering that I was starving and they were advertising on the photo before you walk in the restaurant. Expectations vs reality were way off. I was expecting some real southern made grits and shrimp. Shrimpy tomato soup. Hardly any grits. Very spicy for no reason. Bread was hard! What I received was more like a tomato soup, the plate was covered in tomatoes and the grits were so soupy and there was hardly any grits and some extra spicy shrimp with all these toppings. Spice does not equate to seasoning!!! The food had absolutely no flavor. Then I got the Hawaiian French toast. You can't smack a pineapple on something and call it "Hawaiian." Overall my server only came to check on us twice, once, to take our order and next to give us the check. I was extremely disappointed and I had such higher expectations. If you like bland spicy food then maybe this is the place for you. But I would definitely think twice before I order the "shrimp and grits." read more

We came here on a Sunday morning for brunch, which is usually not my cup of tea. There was a slight wait and we were seated in about 20 minutes. Our server took our orders for coffee and presented us with the menus. I went with a sweet pecan crust chicken salad which came with bread and I opted for dressing on the side. We also ordered the avocado toast which was couple of slices with avocado coating and scrambled eggs. There are numerous other items available on the menu, but we kept it simple. Both items were very good. Salad was fresh with perfectly grilled chicken pieces, pecans and avocado slices. We even enjoined our eggs with the avocado toast. I will return for subsequent visits. This visit is starting out a bit rough. I came alone and was seated at a table set for 4. She ran off before I could request the set for 2 near by. When she walks back to me. A couple took that seat. She then pointed to a available booth. Only a o have someone else whom sat there. Okay I'm feel very freaking annoyed So I RAN to a setting for two and sit. Before someone else grab it. Wanted the complimentary cup of joe. Which I had no problem collecting it myself. But she did it. Which I would have prefer to do it myself. Returned it completely FULL to the rim. Absolutely no room for sugar or cream. Damn. Then she pours some out into a water glass on the table which made a bit of a mess. She said she'll take care of it no problem. Okay no problem there. But she returns and take care of the couple whom arrived after me and took the requested seat I wanted. And left my table with a spill and cream on my hands.
