Hostess are HORRIBLE! We were 8 people and we had to wait 1 hour for seating (We got there at 12:30) and we waited. Went inside to ask when we were going to be seated hostess said it would be ANOTHER hour. There were enough tables and chairs for all of us to sit. (There were 2 groups of people who had left 25mins before us. We thought we would give them time to clean up) but no. Empty tables and we couldn't be seated. I would take my money elsewhere. This was my first time at this first watch. I have been to other locations and it was great. This location was very slow. I'm not sure if it normally like that or had something to do with covid. Went on a Sunday morning and the place was pretty busy. One seated it took awhile for the waiter to come to the table. Then we ordered and it took a long time for the food to come. The waiter was very nice and was trying hard. He seemed very busy though and kept apologizing for the wait. We ordered 2 trifectas, one with Pancake and the other with waffle. They both came with pancakes so they had to fix one. The food was good but the pancakes and waffle was barely warm. I had a 5 star waitress at breakfast yesterday. I didn't read her name tag or notice if she had one but my receipt read 'Idalia'. Hopefully that's accurate. She was wonderful! I ordered the Vanilla Chai Latte Pancakes with a side over of two eggs over easy and coffee. I love that they have a good variety of creamer options, both dairy and non-dairy. I ordered the eggs because I thought the pancakes alone wouldn't be filling but I was wrong. I ate both eggs with only two pancakes. It comes with 3 pancakes and I couldn't finish the 3rd one. I was starving too. I liked the pancakes but I didn't love them and one of my eggs was overcooked. The pancakes weren't hot, slightly cold but they were good! The coffee was good too. Came here around 2 PM during the week and luckily there was not a lot of traffic since they will be closing at 2:30 PM. I don't know his name but I think he's possibly Italian and he has a really great personality and he was very generous with samples and he is an amazing waiter but I think he is secretly l the owner or franchise owner or he just really loves his job. The main reason why am giving you four stars is because the rest of the staff needs to be just as good as him with that much energy but I don't know if that's possible LOL I can think of plenty of people that would want him at their company or to work for them. I like their variety and fresh ingredients! We go a couple times a month for a breakfast date! They give you your own pot of coffee for the table which really makes us keep coming back!! They are clean, and the waiters and waitresses are interested in making sure you are happy with everything:)) They also have nice well kept bathrooms. A representative from First Watch contacted me after my first visit apologized for the previous visit and invited us back to give it another chance. We came by today (Saturday) around 11:30...the restaurant was very busy as to be expected at brunch time. They had some coffee and infused water complimentary at the front while we waited. The wait was less than 10 minutes and our waitress came by soon after we were seated. We ordered the exact same order we originally wanted (biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes, cheesy grits, soup with half a sandwich and an order of the maple bacon). While it did take just a little over 30 minutes for the order to come out (we were ok with that since it was brunch time and very busy). The food was good...the grits very good and the maple bacon (I cannot remember the exact name) was "ahhhhhmazing"! The waitress was attentive and came by several times to check on us or to let us know the food would be out soon. I am so glad we gave it another chance. We eat out every single day...sometimes more than once in a day and we frequent places we really like. We will definitely come back here. I happen to find this place through google maps during my conquest of breakfast joints around my dwelling place. Setting: Hwy 6 has a lot of places to eat and this place happens to be near the corner of Little York. It has a nice entrance with your typical greeters booth and they have table booths around the sides and back of the restaurant. They have smaller tables in the back half pass the long booth and they have a long table to the right of the entrance for bigger groups. It has a nice, warm country feel to the place. Food: I had their Trifecta plate with a belgian waffle, eggs, pork sausage, and a side of their potatoes. The dish looked clean and nothing was burnt, except for the potatoes slightly which is expected. That didn't hinder the taste of the potatoes and they were seasoned well. The eggs were cooked nicely and the pork sausage was really good. The star of the dish had to be the belgian waffle! It had a nice outer crisp and it was fluffy in the inside. I really enjoyed the berry sauce it came with, which was very fresh and smooth! Overall: The customer service was excellent and my waitress Jody was very attentive and hospitable! Our waitress was really good and gave us a heads up that the kitchen was backed up and brought all our food out warm. I had the tri- fecta. I picked bacon, the waffle and eggs sunny side up. The waffle was so crunchy and delicious. I want to eat it again. It came with some kind of berry compote and I slathered it on my waffle. Yum. My husband had a Mediterranean omelet and it was good. Reminded me of a pizza a little bit which is perfect for him. It came with toast and a salad. I'm sure you can ask for potatoes if you don't want leafy greens. My daughter had the grilled cheese kids meal. It comes with a side of fruit and a drink. The grilled cheese was awesome and so crunchy and delicious. She took it with her and finished it in the car. Quit the accomplishment for my picky eater. We also asked if the fruit could just be grapes and strawberries and the waitress was able to do it for us! We had great customer service and were pampered by Lisa, whom we were also happy to see again. We forgot to ask for an adjustment to a dish, so when the food arrived and we requested the adjustment be made, they quickly and kindly complied and even allowed us to keep the dish, while they made a new and adjusted dish. I went to First Watch today for the first time with my husband. He's been before; I've only passed by this one and the one by my salon in Cypress but have never been inside one. So glad hubby suggested it! We had great food that looked just like the pictures on the advertisement inside the restaurant (that NEVER happens) and our server Nitesha was just as awesome as the food and drinks! We asked about these 3 healthy juices they have on the menu and she offered to let us sample them before we committed to one. We loved all 3 and couldn't make up our minds so she told us that some people mix them. That was all we needed to hear! My husband stirred his up, I loved mine layered the way it came, it was sooooo good!! I ordered the Baja Chicken Bowl with the eggs on the side and he ordered the Brilliant Beet Toast. We split our meals to share with each other and he ate all of the eggs. Everything was AMAZING and I assured Nitesha that I would be back and that I would write a Yelp review about her and the food at this location. Great food and service. Was there 7/3/22 for breakfast. Everything was served promptly and with a smile. The only issue is that there was a piece of hair in the food, and there was no offer to take that off the bill. There was someone in the kitchen with a hat and hair exposed and it was likely from him. I don't understand why people aren't wearing hair nets in a kitchen especially when they're not able to prevent hair from getting into the food. This is a major major problem. read more

That can be expected with Covid issues that are going on. Unfortunately there was a customer that was overly irate with the First Watch Manager while we were waiting for a table. This guy would not let up and made an already stressed restaurant staff even more on edge. Anyway, we were seated and had the salad and soup. The salad was really nice and fresh. My family and I have been to eat at this location several times, alas this was the last time, Sunday, 8-18-19. The service is so slow, it is unbearable. Even when there are only 3-4 tables of customers and the staff are talking in groups of 4, I cannot understand why the service is this so slow. If there is a kitchen issue fix it! Second time and the food again was great! At Cypress, Txt location! My family came on Mother's Day so I can understand the looooog wait. They provided free coffee and water outside. Waited for food though and WHY did we got the same waitress! We complained about the waitress to the manager so we had a different waiters but he came once but the waitress came back. Our sever Steven was an astonishing, professional young man. He had the biggest smile on his face even through the building was packed full. He greeted us right away and got our order within a couple of minutes. The food was splendid. We got the million dollar bacon, (totally worth it) and the works. And my girlfriend got the tri-fecta. Everything came out great with no issues. Before we left the manger "Kish" came out to look around the restaurant to make sure everything as clean and spotless.
