I know the food is great, so I decided to bring my parents. I called in ahead of time to reserve our spot. They said the table would be ready in 10-15min. When I arrived, I was told by someone working the front that we cannot call in reservations and we would need to wait 30min. My mom asked to speak with the store manager. Michelle, the store manager, listed to our complaint, and then covered the cost of the meal, provided us with a $20 gift card, and checked on our meal twice. I went to first watch this morning for breakfast and had the Traditional with sausage. Kecia was my waitress and I intentionally tried to get under her skin with asking so many questions but she was really professional, polite and she suggested the Traditional so that's what I got. The food was really good, the sausage and potato was cooked to my liking. When the food and the customer service is excellent that's when you know you're on to something and you don't mind leaving a nice tip. Very poor service. Long wait times and no attempt to alleviate what I presume are growing pains. Several customers walked out while I was there, include one highly irritated gentleman who just left his bill and money at the counter because there was no one there to take payment. They had 3 waiters busing tables and seating guests. They are clearly understaffed and need to do something about their service. Update: 1/13/2019 A manager from the location reached out to me after my previous visit and apologized for the prior service. I was able to visit the location again today and the service has indeed improved. The wait time was reduced and the servers seem more attentive than my previous experience. Great food options and excellent taste. Update: 5/27/2019 Service still leaves a lot to be desired. They don't have someone consistently present at the front counter. You are practically ignored upon entry until they determine they have time to care. After being seated and served, you again have to wait and be ignored in order to pay your bill. They have a large selection of different breakfast options from eggs, tacos, toast, panckakes and more. Their lemon ricotta pancakes and avacado toast always look great to me. I like the power bowl that is chia pudding topped with fresh fruit and served with delicous bread and almond butter. Its a light and tasty breakfast that fills you up. They also have a nice selection of lunch foods including the option to do a soup and salad. You can also add on sides from meats, eggs, and even a fresh muffin. For drinks they have some teas, and couole types of coffee, and fresh juices to choose from. The atmosphere was so inviting, the ideal family friendly brunch environment. The decoration is a modern farm style that is both clean and gives the impression of freshness. The food itself perfectly matches the style, freshness! The elevated egg sandwich was delicious paired together with their freshly roasted coffee. Each bite is filled with creamy egg yolk. The bacon is so crispy it crunches once your teeth sinks in. The avocado provides a refreshing taste to the heavy bacon and further accentuated in taste with lemons. The brioche bun is so soft it is like fluffy pillows of bread. The coffee smelled amazing as the aroma just wafts around the whole restaurant! Honestly the perfect smell for a good comforting breakfast. When you order coffee you get a whole pitcher to yourself, a secret pleasure for a pretty good price. ( plus if your like me and want to get the full value then ask for a togo cup for what you don't finish). Overall I say this is an ideal breakfast to have with the family, or secretly indulge for yourself. It is a bit noisy but I think that just brings home that family friendly vibe. We finally made it in here without a long wait after a few weeks. Upon first entering, the cashier is basically the hostess and always busy so we waited a bit to be seated. After that, perusing the menu I wasn't very impressed. I tried the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy and my bf got the chile chorizo omelet. As for my meal, the gravy was bitter and grainy and also had been sitting for a while so my biscuits were soggy, eggs and potatoes were just ok. My bf's omelet was just eggs folded over very little chorizo with green chile's and sour cream on top. He commented that they looked "plastic", ha! This is more of a "fancy" place than we are used to for breakfast with a small menu but the prices and descriptions don't fit the taste you're expecting. We were the first ones there and it's a great place. Nice atmosphere and the bathrooms were clean. My waitress was friendly and she kept kept my glass filled with water. My omelette was delicious but I wanted more cheese on top. I'm sure that it an IHOP type request, but that's the kind of guy I am. It could be special cheese, but I still wanted cheese. I'm so glad I did not allow that to deter us, the food was amazing and came out quickly. Our server, Lisa was very pleasant, attentive and professional. Apparently the staff forgot we were seated and so we were not acknowledged until we got our hostesses attention. The side of potatoes that came with our meal were so terrible that we couldn't eat it.
