I totally fell in love when I walked in! I opted for the biscuits and gravy because that's what I was craving andddddd....they did more than deliver! Food was not good, but service is the worst I've ever had anywhere. First we got to our table , and no one served us, so we waited for a while. We ordered, and she brought out only half the drinks we asked for. We asked her again to bring them, she didn't. This interaction repeated five times. Another server brought out food that was meant for the table behind us to our table, so we gave them. Our food finally came after 50 minutes of waiting and it was very subpar. The eggs were over cooked, cold, and no yolk was runny. She never brought out salt and paper after repeatedly asking her. She finally brought our other drinks after we almost finished eating which included a cup of ice, a water, and a Diet Coke. She never brought cream and sugar for the coffee after asking her multiple times. I will NOT be returning. read more

This was my first time here and I liked the place. The food was good. My goal would be... trying everything on the menu

1st time here, and the service level was bad. Unfortunately one waitress can set the entire tone for one customer. Came in on a Saturday between 11am-12pm. Made sure to check on the app if there was a wait time to place myself and my guest on the list. According to the app they could seat us right away. Upon arrival I was advised by the hostess there was a 5-10min wait. She said it wasn't because tables weren't available, but because the kitchen was backed up. I didn't see it as a big deal so I let it go. Thankfully during the wait we figured out what we were going to order so once we sat down we would get straight to business. I even made sure to ask for maple syrup so there was no questions. Our waitress, made it to our table, took our order but she seemed very frazzled and stressed out than any of the other waitresses/waiters. Our food came out before we received our drinks with exception to the coffee, and we had ordered water and OJ. I had to ask someone else for my maple syrup, as it was forgotten and I couldn't start eating. It took so long for our waitress to come by, and I wanted to start eating, that I ended up getting the maple syrup from the kitchen myself. This location left me with a bad impression, and I wont return. I will give the Katy freeway location a go, instead. read more

Very similar to a fav Florida-style place we used to frequent in Tulsa. WIDE array of menu options. Fresh and vege-friendly. Super friendly staff! Portions were American-style larger than need be so some might even score a to-go box. But the important thing is fresh, tasteful, with LOTS of options including traditional breakfast/brunch meats, eggs, pancakes all the way to vegetarian, frittatas, and skillets. Coffee was fresh and good as well (people, this is important!). We will definitely return again. Won't go into all the menu options but you will have plenty of choice. read more

On my third visit at this location, the service really disappointed me again. The first two times we thought it was just new staff learning the system. This was not the case months later, I will not be back. They need to find a better way to organize the wait staff. They do not have a designated host, so we stood there for 5 minutes being ignored. Then we were sat by a random waiter that never came back. They desperately need a front of house manager that knows how to organize wait staff. We waited 15 additional minutes at the table without any acknowledgment. No one came to give water or take an order. I tried flagging someone down, they would not come to the table. This was beyond frustrating. Never going to come back. They have decent food, but the service is so terrible you may never even get to order it. Every time we have been the service has sucked and each time seemed worse than the last. They were not that busy. Just did not care. read more

I really want to like this place but there are so many factors against me. The food is either luke warm or cold. The service is slow and you'll have to wait between 5-15 minutes to be greeted. On top of that, the dishes you order will be missing ingredients. I keep going back because the choices are healthy and I really like the flavor profile of the dishes. It just isn't good. This is the second time we've tried it, with the first being at the Katy Fwy location. This review easily applies to both. The restaurant was less than half full when we got there this morning, yet it took a long time for someone to offer us drinks. We were about to get up and leave when the waitress finally showed up. The food simply isn't good. If you're claiming "farm fresh" and "freshly cooked" food, how is it cold and dry by the time we get it? I got the biscuits and gravy. It was cold, watery gravy over some generic, tasteless biscuits. My wife got the traditional breakfast and it was paper thin fast-food bacon with some overcooked eggs and stale toast. There are just too many better breakfast options in west Houston. If you want a traditional "greasy spoon" style diner, you have Avalon or Fountain View Cafe. If you want true "farm fresh" and well-crafted breakfasts, then go somewhere like Dish Society on Memorial. This is just another chain breakfast place that won't pass the test of time. It's extremely mediocre food, poor service, and indifferent staff will catch up to it sooner rather than later. read more

We went there twice this weekend and food was consistent and great both times! We ordered both items on the Favorites menu, the Eggs Benedict and the Chickichanga and they were very good. Nice little spot to have a brunch. Quick service and good food. I ordered the waffle and my wife ordered the Monterey Club Sandwich with a tomato basil soup. Waffle was fluffy and the butter on top was ok the sweet side which paired very well. The sandwich was a pretty good portion and so was the soup. The soup isn't on the creamy side just in case you prefer your tomato basil like that. Great to have a breakfast/brunch/lunch place that you can get in and out quick. read more

Handicap friendly! The wait staff was great! They opened the doors for us and helped us to our table. The very sociable and friendly staff made our visit very enjoyable. The environment was a little too noisy. We had to talk loud to hear each other. Tables and chairs are comfortable. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes to share along with coffee and Cranberry Juice. The Eggs Benedict are just right for 1 person but are too small to share. The combination of Salmon, Hollandaise, and Ciabatta Toast work well together. The pancakes were huge! The 2 pancakes completely covered the large plate they were served on. The marinated strawberries and lemon custard were fantastic! The pancakes were very fluffy because of the whipped Ricotta cheese added to the batter. Our waitperson did not know the Ricotta was in the pancake batter. She thought it was in the lemon custard. She also forgot to add potatoes to our order. She was still very friendly, helpful, and eager to please. We enjoyed our visit and intend to go back to try some other dishes like their Million Dollar Bacon and Biscuits and Gravy. read more
