Absolutely love this location, I tend to go on weekdays and while it is busy I have never had to wait to be seated with my party. Servers are attentive, location is impeccably clean and service is perfect every single time. Have to admit I basically eat the same exact thing every single time. Lemon ricotta pancakes for the win! I've been dying to try this place and I was not disappointed! I haven't seen my mom since Christmas so while she's down visiting we decided to check it out! The food was amazing I wish I could eat here all day! Super easy place to keep keto! I had the most delicious omelette! It was perfectly cooked and even came with salad instead of toast and potatoes! Yummy dishes and quite the selection. Love the set up of this restaurant. The tables are spaced enough to feel privacy, yet a full fun environment. The waitstaff is friendly and professional. We had to wait about ten minutes on a crowded Saturday. Fresh coffee, chilly cucumber water and comfy seating for the wait. The Chickichanga was so good. The chunky soft home fries were perfect. Nice in season fruit selection for the win. I love their tomato soup with a hint of basil and juicy little tomato bits in every bite. The Roast Beef & Havarti was scrumptious too. Tried to get a table just 20 minutes ago and was told 30 minutes. I was sent a text message at 11:09am and when I checked at 11:33am just to ask how many people in front us, the same hostess told me I'm at a 45 minutes wait and my name was 3rd or 4th bottom from the list. First Watch is like your neighborhood lemonade stand that decided to invest in better business strategies and expand across the United States. It still feels like billy from down the street is running the place and as if all the employees are people you grew up with. I don't know how they always have across the board fantastic service, but I'm impressed. The food is generally pretty tasty. I'm actually not the biggest fan of breakfast so that's a high compliment in my books. I got the Steak & Eggs Hash off their special menu with a cup of hot tea, served with its own thermos of hot water for refilling as you please! The Steak & Eggs were super tasty, all the fattening stuff usually is, but so so worth the however many calories. Their menu does feel kind of intimidating because they have the calories listed next to all the options, but not on the specials menu! Which is why I like to order off of there. No calories printed = No calories ingested. My only complaint is it's SO loud at this location. I'm assuming it's because of the industrial architecture & the high ceilings which just bounces sound off of it like crazy. They would do well to install some kind of sound damper. I couldn't hear the people I was with very well which made the lunch a little harder to enjoy. Coming back, to this or another location, just to try the Holey Donuts on the specials menu. This was my first visit to this location and my second visit to this chain overall. My initial impression from my last visit for lunch with a client was that it was an elevated diner/breakfast spot. A little pretentious, but not terrible. My experience today was great in some regards and not so great in others. First off, I downloaded the app to check in online. At 9am it said 0 minute wait and there wasn't an option to check in. I walked in at 9:10 and it was full and a 15-20 minute wait. That was a little frustrating. We were seated in about 15 minutes and our server came by. Her name is Shaniqua and let me tell you that Shaniqua is amazing! Friendly, attentive and watching her work with her customers, it's clear that she is great at her job. I even saw a patron give her a hug before she and her two boys left. The menu is a bit pretentious in my opinion, but it's interesting too. It's obvious that they want to offer more fresh vegetables and whole grains and such into their offerings and that's fine, so I'm not complaining. I am saying that I'd like a few classics like classic Eggs Benedict, but all of theirs have tomatoes and other variations that just aren't what I want. I got a steak and eggs hash special and let me tell you that it was AMAZING! The steak was tender and nicely cooked, but not overcooked. The eggs were so fresh and perfectly poached like I'd asked (soft poached eggs are glorious things to behold!) and the potatoes, mushrooms and spinach were all so well seasoned. With that runny yolk mixing with the other flavors, it made this delicious sauce that was in love with. My wife got a two egg breakfast with chicken sausage and a pancake (multigrain) and her eggs were perfectly scrambled. It's clear that place knows how to cook an egg. The pancake was just okay as multigrain batter is just dense and not hers or my thing. But the sausage was just gross! It had the most awful texture, it felt (and tasted) like clay in my mouth when I tried a piece at her request. The flavor was gross. I enjoyed my entree, her's was hit and miss. My only other issue is the setup as you walk in. It's simply not big enough to accommodate the crowds and it makes it uncomfortable and awkward. We tried checking out and there's no defined line and it's cramped with people trying to get a table too. Would I go back? I would, because the menu has some other interesting stuff like an egg and chicken breakfast burrito that I want to try. But my wife is going to have to find something else that she wants to try. read more

On a whim my dog and I stopped by First Watch to grab some breakfast, they did not disappoint! The food was good but the service was the best part. Because I came with my dog I had to sit outside which sometimes means you get forgotten, never once did I feel forgotten. Immediately the waitress brought myself and my dog water. She took my order right away and brought me everything very quickly. The bacon was perfectly cooked, not too burnt and it had a couple of fatty spots that weren't chewy they were melt in your mouth good. The toast stuff was great as it had amazing flavor and I was worried it would be soggy but it was not at all. I took off one star because they have very limited out door seating, we got lucky that all the seats were not taken. I will be going back very soon! read more

This was the first time I had ever been to First Watch, and to say it was phenomenal is an understatement. I did the wait list online since I figured it was a relatively busy and popular restaurant. We only had to wait less than 10 minutes upon arrival. I was also able to notate that we would need two high chairs on the wait list too. I've never seen a restaurant do that before so I was surprised. The hostess was really nice and gave us menus to look over while we waited. This is definitely a healthy place to eat also. I ordered the trifecta and had bacon, extra crispy, scrambled eggs, and the belgian waffle which came with berry compote, which was delicious and not overly sweet, I added a cup of decaf coffee and water. I ordered my daughter the french toast that came with sausage and fruit, which consisted of grapes, pineapple, and honey dew with a cup of milk. My significant other got the classic breakfast with multigrain toast, homestyle potatoes, chicken apple sausage, and eggs over medium and a berry iced tea. His son had the fruit crepe which had blueberries, granola, and another fruit spread and white toast with apple juice. Service was quick and friendly. It's a chain, but it's delicious! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for healthy options for breakfast! They also have very unhealthy options, but there's such a great selection. You must try the million dollar bacon! It doesn't cost $1 million, but it certainly taste it! I recommend the location in Bartram Park because that's the only one I've been to, but the staff is always amazing and takes care of us every single time. It must be difficult to create a business model for a healthy breakfast chain in the US. First Watch is trying to do this, but they are surely aware that Americans don't want to sit down to a healthy family breakfast. This results in a system full of contradictions. They have removed all white sugar for your coffee from the table in the name of health, but serve the coffee next to a big bowl of Pumpkin-Pie-Spiced-French-Vanilla-Hazelnut-No Refrigeration-Needed oil-based creamers that won't digest until the next ice age. They use a technique of cooking their eggs called 'basting', which effectively removes all of the flavor (and I assume calories) that you would get from cooking them in butter and salt, but they encourage you to enjoy the resulting slimy, watery, healthy eggs next to a slab of candied bacon coated in maple syrup (dubbed 'Millionaire Bacon). The avocado toast (my first experience anywhere with the dish) was pretty tasty. Decent thick bread and heavily salted (bordering on too much, but not quite). I have heard that other places add bells and whistles to theirs like goat cheese, etc. FW did none of that - avocado, bread, and salt (served with a lemon slice which I squeezed over the top). It was good, if a little boring. It took 20 minutes to get seated as a single - it was a Sunday morning, so pretty busy. Service was decent for the level of business. All in all, not the best. I'd prefer to have breakfast at a local spot than a chain that can't figure out what it wants to be. And with a $22 price tag for avocado toast, 2 eggs, bacon, and coffee (including tip), I think I can do better elsewhere. read more

I've tried to hold off posting this review to think through our experience, which I would initially have given a two star. We visited for breakfast a couple of weekends ago with two of our children. We ordered a pancake for our son, daughter ordered the avocado toast and my husband and I both ordered the BLT Benedict. The kids received their food in a decent amount of time but our Benedicts did not come out for another 15 minutes. When we did receive our meals the eggs were all boiled instead of poached. Not good. I motioned over our server and pointed out the issue. She apologized and said they would get us poached eggs. While we waited another 20 minutes we noticed several other tables had the same issue. Our server stopped back by during our wait and apologized again stating they were having an issue with their poached that morning. She delivered our poached eggs in two small bowls. This meant we had to rebuild our Benedict removing the boiled eggs, The arugula salad on top and trying to then pour our freshly poached eggs on top and putting the salad back on. I can admit that I gave up as my eggs fell apart mid pour and I realized I was left with a sloppy mess. They did take off the charge for one of the Benedicts at no request from us. But after spending most of our breakfast waiting for food, not receiving what we ordered and seeing so many other tables having a similarly poor breakfast experience they really should have comped both Benedicts. I cant see me visiting again as there are so many other excellent options around town. If you can't deliver a delicious and consistent eggs Benedict when you offer several types then that's an issue. I'm giving them 3 stars for trying but overall I still think my experience was a 2 at best. read more

I haven't been here in about a year. A group of 5 of us went for brunch on Saturday. I ordered avocado toast. Everyone ordered and one woman in my party also ordered an item to go. It was quite a long wait to get the food but it was a Saturday and very crowded so that is understandable. All our food arrived to the table except mine. It was at least 10 more minutes before my food arrived and only after we asked the waitress about it. (food was very good). The check arrived and we paid our bill but the to go order for my friend still hadn't appeared. When we asked we were told that it hadn't been made yet.
