Shiloh my server was EXCELLENT! I ordered the trifecta which included a Belgian waffle (theirs is the BEST) now the scrambled eggs with cheese were over cooked as was the pork sausage links. So the food gets 3 stars, service 5 stars, so I'll give over all 4 stars! The ambiance was very nice and pretty quiet for it to be 9:00 am. I would definitely go back!

First Watch is always a brunch favorite! We had a group of 6 of us and we were seated almost immediately. The service was wonderful and efficient. The Market Skillet Hash is a personal favorite and the new seasonal items never disappoint either!

Show me in a couple of friends came out and tried to go to a restaurant that wasn't open so we ended up passing first watch. I was pleased. You could sit inside and outside, it on a day that's not too hot, this really works in your favor. Sat outside, have some really good breeze and it was pretty clutch that day. Way staff was nice and friendly, I have zero complaints about that. Our waitress took care of us very much so. Howard at the cornbread, tres leches strawberry French toast, and a Pomegranate sunrise. All of it was good! Every bit of it. The cornbread came out super warm with the butter already melting on it, it was amazing. The French toast let me feel like I was going to get diabetes right away but I persisted and finished it lol! I have no complaints about this spot. You have to wait for a certain time to get alcohol, which I didn't know, but when we did get alcohol, she hooked us up. This is definitely a good and chill spot. You may have to time it correctly, because if you go at a certain time, you got to be standing outside waiting. I went on a Sunday, and you can anticipate that that was the after church crew that took over so that was expected. But overall, I would still try to go!

I joined a friend here recently. I haven't actually dined in to a First Watch in years. It was so nice! The hostess was sweet. The menu was much like I remember it. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. My favorite entree is the avocado toast! I swear they sprinkle a lil extra love on top. Overall, great experience and can't wait to visit again! #ashsaidit

We came here after church before Memorial Day. The service was fast and gracious. I opted for a soup and sandwich. The ambiance was contemporary with nice open areas with doors hanging from the ceiling. The food was good especially the broccoli and cheddar soup. Recommended!

One of my go-to brunch place :) no matter the location, always satisfied with the quality of food. Wait was very minimal and service was great. Clean and music was not loud.

***FOOD: Food is consistently good. They have rotating monthly specials . We order the same things though. Avocado toast with eggs - excellent especially when they add a little side salad. Wedding Soup Is absolutely divine can never get enough of their wedding soup. Chocolate chip pancake is a kid favorite. Chorizo skillet with potatoes and the corned beef hash skillet is chefs kiss delish. Quality fresh ingredients. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $ $ $ expensive for breakfast. Ended up paying $80 with tip for breakfast. Needless to say we don't go out for breakfast as often as before. ***DÉCOR: rustic farm primitive chic look, booths high tops and regular tables In the strip mall With LA Fitness, OK dog Toast, Hibachi Express, Poke City, chipotle ***SERVICE: experienced servers, it's a chain of restaurants from Florida ***RECOMMEND: Would Recommend and would definitely go back just not as often because it's expensive for breakfast.

First Watch is a popular breakfast/brunch spot in the heart of Johns Creek. The menu is a full two pages offering omelettes, pancakes, waffles, grits, and healthier options like Greek yogurt parfaits and quinoa power bowls. My friend and I came for Sunday brunch and there was a bit of a wait of 20 to 30 minutes and then we were promptly seated thereafter. Our server was sweet and attentive considering the busy crowd. We started with the morning meditation drink, and the lavender drink and both were really tasty. For brunch, I had The Works omelette with a side of fresh fruit and toast, and it was really a delicious, well-balanced meal. All of the ingredients were very fresh and the dish is well-prepared. My friend had the Italian omelette and loved the mix of flavors and spices. It would have been a better experience without the wait but it is a very popular restaurant.

I love this first watch -- the food is always super good. The service is okay and depending on the day it's either super crowded or not at all. Overall, it's worth it for the food.

This is actually one of the few places that I actually felt improved in recent years which is the opposite of what you usually tend to see over time. One big plus is that their hours are longer and they are open for more days than they used to be (they used to be closed 2-3 days of the week for reference). If there is a downside compared to older years, I'd say the service has declined slightly and staff can be a little unattentive at times, but still wouldn't say that it's bad. Good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. They will always bring you a basket of chips and salsa to start with. And unlike most other places, they are actually GOOD quality and they give you a sizeable portion to start so you're not constantly asking for chip refills. And they have no issues giving those to you as well. Menu is on the smaller side, but you can't go wrong with one of their tacos. Tried a few and have yet to have a bad experience. A few years back I occasionally had some issues with the tacos being burnt but haven't this happen again in recent visits. One thing I also really like is the rice and beans they give you with the tacos. While that may be a standard for any mexican joint, the rice has a bit of cheese mixed into it and is done very well. Perfect to add into any taco or enjoy on its own. The drinks are pretty on-point as well. Although the tacos may not look that big on initial glance they will definitely fill you up especially if you opt for their sour cream and guac, which were both done very well. Overall, this is probably my favorite spot for Mexican in the area, and I'll keep coming back every time I visit GA.

We had some time for a few beers before an event in the area and found ourselves at Good Word. The feel is both upscale and casual, with the idea of a public house being front and center in its presentation. The bar is front and center and they have a a pretty big brew lineup. We tried a few samples, and eventually settled on a few different styles. All were delicious. Most breweries have a couple good ones, some mid, and some meh, but all of the beers we tried here were great. The same could not be said about the service, we had two bartenders, the first was friendly and helpful, the second not so much. If the attitude was better behind the bar, this would have been a 5 star review. They have a full bar, and we ordered.espresso martinis as our final round, well done and yummy. Apparently, there are locations all the way to Michigan and Wisconsin even. Ordered curbside pickup online just to see if they really would honor it, fully expecting to go in, since so much of that has stopped since the height of COVID. We decided to try the Motherload sampler with a variety of sides. When we got there and checked in via text, we were surprised that they actually were going to come outside to deliver it (but we met them at the door in any case). Good to know for next time. Overall, it was a pretty satisfying meal. We tried as many sides as we could get with our meal. All of them were pretty great. I'm partial to my own homemade mac and cheese and greens, but they weren't bad. As far as the meats go, I think I liked the brisket, turkey breast, and sausage best. The ribs could have been more tender but were slightly better than the ones I got from Cozy Coop this year. I still haven't found a rib place that really sticks with me in my immediate area, but there are many more to try of course! I just like that turkey breast was even an option for the sampler. It was seasoned well and not dry also. I joined the rewards program, so I received a discount that I used up front. I would definitely like to try some of their sandwiches with housemade pastrami, nachos, and some more of the meats and sides. It seems to be a good, solid place for dinner or lunch with a lot of options for all. I'll be back.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!
