I hadn't been to a First Watch in some time and this was convenient for breakfast before a few meetings in the area. The parking lot can be a pain to get into with a divided road and private business entrance on one side, but there is a fair amount of parking. The restaurant is open and comfortable with a lot of farm-to-table style decor and I really like the big communal table in the front. I was seated right away and had barely hit the seat when the server was there with water offering drinks. I ordered coffee and was brought a large pot ( thank you). There were a TON of delicious-sounding options for breakfast, I honestly had a difficult time deciding and blurted something out when the server came back. LOL I like that there are healthier and non-meat options to choose from as well. I decided on The Elevated Egg Sandwich ($10.59) An over-easy cage-free egg with bacon, Gruyere cheese, fresh smashed avocado, mayo and lemon dressed arugula on a brioche bun. Served with fresh, seasoned potatoes. The potatoes were crisp and surprisingly more aggressively seasoned that I would have expected. The sandwich was delicious, the bread was light, the egg was runny, and the bacon was crispy. I can't wait until I'm back in the area again to try more of the menu! read more

I really enjoy my breakfast food so finding a go to place for breakfast/brunch has ended with this First Watch. I have been coming to this locations for a while now, so rest assured that this review is coming after many dining experiences. This location can be busy during the weekend, so I suggest you "put your name" on the waitlist through the Yelp app. It's accurate with the wait times and you'll save time standing instead of standing around and waiting. The food here is always fresh and made to order. I usually go with some eggs and veggies but I've had some lunch items and they're solid as well. What I highly recommend is their banana granola pancake. I get it every time I go and it's insanely good. The coffee here is superb as well. And this is coming from someone who doesn't care for coffee, but theirs isn't bitter and has a smooth taste while gently patting you on the behind in an "attaboy/attagirl" fashion to give you an extra bounce in your step. If you enjoy coffee, then you should've already ordered this by now. They also serve a few fresh juices on their menu. The morning meditation is very refreshing and the different flavors complement one another in harmony while not being too sweet or sugary. Overall, the food here is very good, but the people there are what makes this place truly special. I've interacted with the majority of the staff and I can honestly say that I go here hungry, but I always leave smiling. You'll never see anyone working there without a smile on their face, and the speed at which everyone asks if they can get you anything else makes you feel like you're having breakfast at your grandma's place. BRUNCH, wow definitely a place I'd be back with some friends. I had the fresh squeezed orange juice and the summer lobster omelette special and it was soo good! The hollandaise sauce on top had a bit too much lemon but everything else was just awesome. There was a good amount of Lobster inside too, makes it worth the price. The potatoes were under seasoned but cooked perfectly. The menu is kind of small but they have very healthy and fresh options which I think is a great trade off. Came here for breakfast while visiting parents and was very impressed. I don't eat red meat or pork so seeing the chicken sausage and turkey sausage options was refreshing. The avocado toast was absolutely amazing. Their multigrain bread was so thick, fluffy, and tasty. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and I had a chance to taste the cheese grits. I am updating my review to give First Watch five stars. Why? Because they have added stevia in the raw and gotten rid of some of the artificial sweeteners. Yeah! The food quality and value is already high here. But again, kudos to them for the stevia. Sopha carries a little sandwich bag in her purse filled with stevia packets. Maybe in 5 or 10 years she won't have to do that anymore. I've only ever had good experiences at this location. The food is always delicious, the menu has a nice healthy artisan vibe, and the wait staff are super attentive and friendly. It has the feel of a local cafe more than a chain. I usually order the same thing (traditional breakfast, eggs scrambled, bacon & potatoes) and it tastes perfect every time. I recently tried their blueberry pancakes and they were incredible. The prices are the high side of average for a breakfast/lunch spot, but I've never left feeling anything but good about my experiences here. read more

I ordered the daily special- came with 2 eggs over medium- potatoes and bacon. First the eggs were so undercooked the minute I sliced them the white ran all over the potatoes. Yuk Then the potatoes were so burnt only 3 bites were edible- not exaggerating. Bacon well done couldn't even bite into it. What a huge disappointment. Another hot spot for breakfast/ brunch!!! Started off with the oh so tasty pomegranate sunrise. Today's meal consisted of the chickichanga. To me, it has a strange lime taste, but that was easily overcome by the chicken and slight heat of the chilies. Great experience with the helpful staff as well. My Lisa and I went to First Watch here at 13200 Seminole blv this morning, by accident actually. Apparently, there is one in Tyrone that we really didn't enjoy. So as we were sitting, we contemplated making a fast getaway. But laziness prevailed and we stayed seated. Luck, being the fickle broad she is decided to smile on us with a wonderful 5 star breakfast, courteous staff, and a fast and friendly waitress in Amber, and a wonderfully scrumptious breakfast. We chose this location based on the wait time and got in line via the website. However, when we arrived approximately 15 minutes later, the gentleman that greeted us stated that he didn't see our name on their list. Instead of arguing with me, his supervisor overheard and immediately seated us. I was so elated as we had driven from Clearwater and specifically chose this location. Once seated, Skyler introduced herself as our server and had a friendly, cheerful, and professional disposition. We placed our order right away. As time passed on this bustling Saturday morning, Skyler offered to bring us some muffins to tie us over and we were so grateful. They were delicious and so was our meal thereafter. Although I've passed First Watch many times, I've not tried it for breakfast thinking it's another 'chain' restaurant. Boy was I sadly mistaken. I've been twice now and both experiences were definitely 5 star rating worthy. The interior is warm and inviting and not overdone. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I've eaten the Ricotta pancakes, which were delish. Try the million dollar bacon..it's the best bacon that has ever crossed my lips! It's smokey, sweet and a kick of spice to really give you taste buds a treat. Yesterday I had the avocado and crab toast with eggs on the side. I asked for a side of Hollandaise...WOW is all I can say. They also leave a carafe of (very good) coffee on the table so the wait staff isn't pestering you with "do you need more coffee?" A great place for brunch. I like their menu that they change up regularly. I tried the Matcha Berry Pancakes today and had some of the truly delicious Millionaire Bacon again. The pancakes had a great flavor and the yogurt and berries added more flavor. Your own pot of coffee is much better than waiting on severs to occasionally come around like at other restaurants. Helpful staff that makes sure you are taken care of during your meal. Good decor even if it was a couple visits before I notice what was hanging above. A favorite. read more
