Friendly & polite wait staff. Pleasant decor & atmosphere. On a busy day they get overwhelmed. A group of us came in. After 25 minutes one of us got served. 15 minutes later I got served. Third person didn't get served till 20 minutes after that. One meal was served to the wrong person first. Could've just been a bad day but that was unacceptable. That mixup took the fun out of the whole experience.To be fair waitress took the last meal off the bill & gave us a gift card. I love having brunch at this place. The farmhouse is my husband and I's favorite thing to order with one pancake on the side. The pancakes are totally shareable they're huge! The food was delicious, however! Our table ordered a few varieties of their juices, avocado toast, BTLE, farmhouse hash, and traditional breakfast. Their avocado toast was so yummy. I've gone to several first watches in the area and the customer service here stands out from the rest of them. The waitress we had was down to earth and kind but professional at the same time. We knew she was busy but yet she kept her composure and made small talk despite her busyness. The food was amazing. First Watch seems to stay consistent with the quality of their food. I usually order the eggs Benedict and a morning meditation drink. The eggs in the Benedict is always cooked just right and the morning meditation always taste fresh and blended just right. Yes I would recommend this place as I think First Watch is one of the top, if not the top, brunch places in South Florida. You can't go wrong here. read more

I have been here a couple of times and each time the experience has been great. Service is always good. I have waited maybe 5 minutes for a table if that. The food here has always been really good too. I always get something off of the specials menu because they are different than anything you can get at other breakfast places. The last time I was there I got the carnitas breakfast burrito. This burrito was incredible! It was loaded with meat, eggs, and potatoes. All wrapped in a large tortilla topped with lime crema and pico de gallo. It was a large burrito that left me very satisfied. My wife got the skirt steak with egg whites and potatoes with a piece of Asiago bread. Another one of the specials that day.It looked and tasted incredible. Yes i said sat down. We have arrived and left several times due to ridiculous wait times. Today we arrived and waited 30+ minutes to be seated outside against our request. Then waited an additional 10+ minutes for our server to greet us. Our beverages (coffe and water) arrived and we were never visitied again. All three othe routside tables that sat either the same time or before us had eaten and were getting ready to leave. Still no server. We decided to leave. Everything was fresh and tasty however I do have an issue with their consistency, I have eaten there twice, both times I ordered the exact thing and it was not the same, but it still tasted great. I ordered the avocado toast and the million dollar bacon. The first time I had it, it was really really tasty, the second time it was ok. The food is moderately priced, you'll spend $15-$20 per person on a basic meal. The only issue was the speed of service which is why I removed 1 star. Our waitress was really nice, but she seemed to forget about us (drinks took 15 mins to get to the table.) They just opened at this location so hopefully the staff gets acclimated and improves. Very busy day for firstwatch. Place was and still is full. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Not bad but waited 1 hour for the food to come out. That's not good. Plenty of people in the kitchen working. You can see them and hear them. I think that's some of the problem with the food today. Wasn't that good. Especially for a 1 hour wait. Toast was hard, avocado didn't taste fresh to me. As for the other foods in the pic ,nothing to really say about it. It's not terrible food but it's not food that I want to come back and eat again food. So hopefully it was a bad day for them and the rest of the days are better. read more

The French toast was very good, and the people were nice. That's all I can say that's positive. We got there at 8am on a Saturday, when they weren't super busy, and still waited 15 minutes to get even coffee. We ordered two regular French toast, and sides of smoked bacon and sausage. They brought me one with strawberries on it, which I am allergic to. My boyfriend switched with me because the fruit did look very good, and then they gave me a "berry compote". I asked what the berries were and she swore it was blueberry. One sniff told me that it was strawberry. I couldn't eat it. In addition to the allergy issue (nowhere on the menu does it say that the French toast is served with a berry compote), the bacon was paper thin, much like the cheap stuff at Walmart, the sausage was so overdone I couldn't cut it, the syrup tasted like generic, and the coffee was way too strong. Our waitress disappeared often, and it was freezing cold, and very loud. When we went to pay, the card machine was down, resulting in a very long wait. We finally paid with cash just to get out of there. I would go back here if all my friends were going, but I wouldn't choose it again. Edit: This stop was at the beginning of our weekend in Fort Lauderdale, and I subsequently found that every place we went to was freezing cold. I'm not sure why they feel it necessary to keep every public space as comfortable as a refrigerator, but it appears to be cultural rather than just this restaurant. In addition, every stop was very loud. Again, likely a Florida thing rather than just First Watch. read more
