It was surprisingly tough to find a good brunch place in this area but we were sure glad we came across this one!! Super cute rustic vibe, we were seated right away and ordered fairly quickly. We only had about an hour before we had to book it to the airport for our flight, but seriously didn't have to worry because it only took ten minutes or so from ordering our food to it arriving at our table! I got the Floridian French Toast with a freshly squeezed cup of orange juice and my husband got the Superseed Protein Pancakes with a cup of the Morning Meditation drink. I wasn't too impressed with my OJ to be honest but the French toast was absolutely amazing and definitely filling with a ton of fruit on top! Loved every bite! My husband wasn't a huge fan of the morning meditation drink but really loved his protein pancakes!! Super tasty and not grainy at all! I visited on 3/30/25 and expected more. The place was busy with a long wait. I ordered the Traditional...over easy eggs with crispy bacon, fresh seasoned potatoes and whole grain artisan toast. One of the eggs was complete cooked and hard (yet they were fried together), they bacon was not crisp and I don't know what was fresh or seasoned about the potatoes because they were tasteless and cold. Plus, the whole grain Artisan "Toast" was cold and NOT toasted. I barely ate anything but asked for new Artisan bread TOASTED because I was starving. Second toast was the same cold and not toasted. The only thing I ate was the one over easy egg. I have to blame this on the waitress and cooks. I don't think she wrote anything down or cared. Not sure what is going on with First Watch but we left the plantation location because the service was poor on Monday and came to this one today even though we are staying in plantation. Got seated outside and had to go inside to ask if anyone is working the outside because after 15 a 20 minutes you should at least have some water. Ask to speak to the manager and still waiting. The sad thing is this location was our first introduction to First Watch and we loved the service here but not today. Management need to step up and get it together because they are really falling of track. read more

First watch in my opinion is over hype especially this location it appears their kitchen staff is always behind schedule in getting orders out. Attempted to order online for pick up and ran into an issue with the website communicating with the location so my order was never placed. The young lady helping at the door had one if the severs help me make my order on the spot. The reason for the two stars is because of the portion i received after paying 22 and some change for breakfast. I tried a breakfast skillet with spinach, onions, zucchini, crimini mushrooms, red peppers and potatoes bound together with mozzarella cheese(I always opt OUT of goat cheese!) topped with 2 eggs and accompanied by rustic toast, jam and fruit. Really good. The over easy eggs were over cooked for my friend and I and they were quickly replaced with eggs done well. I didn't know they butter the toast so I had that replaced as well. The servers were very accommodating. Dining friend had a skillet with bacon, avocado and other things mixed in with the potatoes. She said it was as good as always- it's her go-to breakfast. Always a fan of First Watch. It was my first time for this location. Everything was great both food and service. My server mentioned it was her first week working there but she did great. (I don't remember her name) I ordered my usual, Avocado toast with 2 eggs and I also tried a shrimp and grits for the first time. I just visited this restaurant for breakfast with a friend and was blown away by the graciousness and attentiveness of the entire staff. Now for the food....soooo good. I had the trifecta with eggs scrambled with cheese and a pancake that was bigger than my head, and then there is the million-dollar bacon. Today was the 3rd time we've been to this location since they opened early last month. LOVE IT, this coming from a non-cooking household, this means a lot. We try everyyyyy restaurant... Food is quality and some innovative choices for the health concious. And my hubs who has zero thoughts on eating healthy fills his tummy nicely here. Very busy on Sat and Sun but worth the wait. If you have 1 or 2 people in your party sit at the community table. I'm not a fan of strangers lol but it's kinda fun. This time I went healthy and ordered the A.M. This First Watch location is my favorite one in Broward (I've basically been to all of them). It's much quieter than the other locations, which I really love. I like the layout of the tables, it doesn't feel like everyone is right next to each other. The food is delicious, of course. If it's your first time going, do yourself a favor and try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, the Million Dollar Bacon (the freaking best!), and their Kale Tonic. The Market Hash and the Roast Beef & Havarti Sandwich are also on my list of favorites! The one slight downside is parking, but it's usually easy to get a spot on weekdays (best time to go honestly). read more

This restaurant is newly opened and it is so very charming inside and rustic. When we arrived they stated that they didn't have any tables except for the "community table" available. It was a big tall table with 5 tall stools with backs. Nobody was at that table so we four accepted it. It was a very comfortable table but quickly filled up. Being a community table, I didn't plan on saying more than hello to my neighbors as I wanted to enjoy my own companions. The first group that joined the table sat on the far end and we greeted each other. The next people who sat took the empty center seats. The people who took the center didn't seem happy to be there and seemed stand offish. Now to the food... The lemon ricotta pancakes were like a dessert, decadent and delicious. The million dollar bacon was really just that, it had maple syrup, cayenne, and brown sugar and was perhaps broiled to perfection. We ordered turkey sausage gravy over biscuits and my was it judged as awful by all three people who tasted it. The turkey was ground so it was a grainy sauce and had no spices and honestly tasted like what I would imagine canned dog food to taste like. I had a ham and gruyere omelette and potatoes, it was good, but not very flavorful at all, the potatoes were very crispy but totally bland. The coffee was good and they have a lot of different choices for creamer, but no Splenda only sugar in the raw or stevia. The breakfast tacos were decidedly a hit. I guess that I didn't note, but this restaurant has very healthy sides and salad greens are what will come in your plate if you don't request potatoes. This restaurant never disappoints, especially when your hungry for a real delicious breakfast. I ordered omelette "THE WORKS" yummy I have one issue...the coffee mugs that are on the tables should be removed. I dont know how many customers sat down before me and handled those mugs before I came along. That will surely determine if I want a cup of Joe. This quickly became our go to brunch spot. Their food is so fresh and tastes amazing! Plus the staff is wonderful! Some of our favorites are the pumpkin pancakes, honey donuts, Kale tonic fresh juice and the traditional. The juices are delicious and super fresh and those seasoned potatoes are always delicious and crispy. Recently I've been trying the Chickichanga too and oh my goodness the amount of wonderful flavor packed in is simply sublime. read more

This COVID-19 had this place shut down but now they're open again, Finally! We went back to our favorite brunch place yesterday. First Watch is definitely worth your time and money. My wife and I love this place. Staff is Always friendly and polite. Food is always fresh and delicious. You can throw a dart at the menu and be completely satisfied. The manager, Christian, is exceptional. All the staff is great. As for the food, if you haven't had their muffins slightly placed on the grill to go with your coffee...I recommend you try it. Hacienda Hash is my favorite dish. And try the half cranberry half orange juice. It's perfect. This place is a delight, we try to go twice a month. If not 3 Sundays of the month. We love First Watch and have been to all the different locations in our area (South Florida) including this one on many different occasions. Two Sundays ago (on 10/11) we placed an order for pick up (to go) and paid online. We ordered two separate meals, a side of the seasonal bacon, and 2 morning meditations. When we arrived at the time that was told to us that our food would be ready it was absolute chaos. We waited for well over 30-45 minutes for our food to be ready. There was only 1 girl at the front who was taking orders (to go), seating guests, and bringing out the to go orders. She had a great attitude but seemed to be overwhelmed. The manager would come every now and then but never stayed. One girl waited over 45 minutes for her order after having placed it online. When our order finally came up, they gave us orange juice because they ran out of the Morning Meditations. They also ran out of bags and used small garbage bags to package our food. We had not utensils or condiments on our order. When we finally were able to enjoy our food at home, we noticed that the bacon was missing. This was $4.99...it's the pricipal. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with a manager who offered to mail us a gift certificate of $20 to make it right instead of processing a refund of $5.00. I accepted and provided our mailing address. It has been two weeks and we have not received anything. I gave a two star because during the weekdays they seem to be better but it seems that they are not prepared for weekends. Be prepared for chairs if you go here on a weekend. read more

Such great, fresh food here. I came early on a weekday for breakfast and was seated immediately. I ordered the Tri-Fecta meal with the carrot cake pancakes. I absolutely loved my meal! Everything tasted so fresh. The carrot cake pancake was so good. I hate raisins and was not made aware that raisins would be in the pancake, however I surprisingly ate all the raisins in the pancake because it was that good. My waitress was very attentive.
