    The Traditional

Came here around 8am for Mother's Day and this place was already packed! Can definitely tell it's popular among locals, and even with the crowds we were seated with only a short wait. The vibe is a mix of new American with classic diner, with elevated menu options but simplistic service including pour your own coffee and creamer packets on the table. We started with the holey donuts and they were quite tasty dipped in the homemade preserves. The texture is more like a churro than a donut though, and while tasty not the fluffy delight we were expecting. For breakfast we had the Traditional, the Bacado Omelet, the Farmhouse Hash and the Hawaiian Toast (a spring special). The standout was the omelet, creamy from the avocado and cheese and balanced ratio of filling to egg. The Hawaiian toast was underwhelming, lacking in coconut and tropical flavors as promised. The Hawaiian toast took an additional 10minutes to arrive to the table, so we were all eating at different paces. The service was attentive although slightly off-standish. We also felt a little rushed, understanding it was a busy time but clearing plates while we still are using forks to grab food is a little excessive. Overall it's a decent breakfast, and for available selections around the town it's a good option.

Yogurt with a few granola sprinkles

The sunrise granola bowl should be called the sunrise yogurt bowl because that's practically all that's in it. I ordered it to go based on the food description and the picture on the menu. What I ended up getting was a giant container of yogurt with a few granola sprinkles on top three blueberries one blackberry and one piece of pineapple. That is a lot of money for a bowl of yogurt. I thought the granola was supposed to have almonds in it. I didn't get enough granola to even get an almond. Absolute scam

Was pretty loud and hard to have a conversation. Great food and service! It's hard to mess up a First Watch experience

FW was one of the pioneers of breakfast and lunch, fast casual restaurants. They have not strayed from their mission of offering a wide selection of high quality breakfast options. Today I was greeted promptly by Olivia. I chose the Chilie Chorizo omelet with cheese grits. It was a nice warm and flavorful meal on a crisp Fall day

Such a cute little spot! We walked in a quickly got a table for 6, the service was great and so was the food! They even let me swap the eggs on the avo toast for potatoes (to make it vegan)!

This First Watch location serves excellent food prepared well. There is ample staffing and service is speedy. This location is in a a shopping center with a number of business so navigating the parking can be tricky. I generally do not love paying $30 for bacon and eggs. First Watch has a decent variety on their menu to make breakfast an adventure!

I love First Watch. I have found a new love at FW however, I'm sad that my favorite is only around for the summer! It is the Elote. This is EVERYTHING. It has corn, eggs, potato, chorizo, tortillas, lime, avocado, and then this spicy crema sauce. *chef kiss. We also love the Elevated Egg sandwich and the AM Superfood Bowl. Really everything we have had we have liked. I do really love their special toast with almond butter with sea salt flakes. That is ballah.

You order at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. So if you are new to this place, I would grab a menu and take a seat somewhere before ordering, if you haven't had a chance to look at the menu. My husband and I wanted to get a wide array of what was on the menu but we opted for the loaded street cart fries with a mix of sweet potato and regular fries and the OG gyro with beef and lamb mix. Because I wanted to try the chicken gyro I got the mixed meat for my street cart fries. They accidentally forgot to put it on my fries so I got it as a side. The food was really good, especially the sweet potato fries with a side of garlic aïoli. The fries inside of the gyro were pretty good, but I would but felt it was overloaded by other flavors. I also got a drink of a passionfruit Mezcal, which was nice and smoky. Overall, I would come back to the spot, but it is definitely not an everyday spot due to price point. It was around $52 for the two entrees, the drink and tip.

Uh, yes please! They have their own parking lot. We were welcomed in and seated as we had our reservations. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. The bar is located inside the pirate ship! We all came dressed in our tropical attire. The drink menu is fun and our server, Chase was the best! He gave us great recommendations and made the evening fun. We ordered the Pu Pu Platter for the table to share and then my husband and I split an order of the crab cakes. The platter had feta wontons, chicken wings (I'll come back to those), fried calamari, Spam musubi, red curry cheese tots, edamame, mac salad and seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was a new taste for me. I liked the dressing and overall it was tasty. The mac salad was traditional island mac. Good stuff. Edamame is not normally my fav, but this was seasoned well. Red curry cheese tots, yum!! The Spam musubi had a dipping sauce and together that was a tasty snack. The fried calamari, was crispy outside, not greasy and tender inside. Well done! The feta wontons were a fun combo of crispy wonton, cucumber and a creamy feta spread. Now, the chicken wings. They are not on the menu as something you can order on its own. I wish they were, as we would have ordered more! They come with a gochujang-teriyaki glaze topped with sesame seeds and scallion. Absolutely the best thing on the platter! Our crab cakes were made from Pacific Rock crab and accompanied by fresh avocado on a bed of smoked tomato pureé garnished with mango salsa. A perfect bite. I do need to talk about the drinks. My husband had a Zombie, Flor de Caña 4 year Oro rum, Planteray OFTD rum, cinnamon syrup, grapefruit, fassionola, lime and a dash of Leopold Brothers absinthe. He loved it! I asked Chase for a recommendation and he said his fav was the Three Dots and a Dash. I went with that. This drink had Dry Land Distillers aged cane rum, Planteray original dark rum, falernum, allspice dram, honey syrup, fresh lime, orange and Angostura bitters. I sipped and savored that for the evening. What a fun experience. I will definitely be coming back.

We were seated promptly upon arrival although did wait a bit for a server to appear. We arrived at the tail end of happy hour so that was nice. Happy hour is available at any table in the restaurant. We ordered appetizers of smoked trout dip and baked scallops. Both were tasty. Main courses were duck and fresh catch of the day which was trout. The trout and the veggies served with it were delicious. Whipped parsnips, roasted carrots, snap peas and spinach topped with a nice filet of trout. This place is small but very cute on the inside. I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant!
