Floridian French Toast with bananas. Strawberries and kiwi!

Hannah was our waitress and she was great! We had the usual French Tosst! FW has amazing challah French toast! We love the Floridian but tried the strawberry tresleche.

Service was great and the food was good for the price. I ordered the AM superfood and couldn't finish the toast with almond butter. I also got the salted caramel latte drink, was good but a tad bit too sweet for me. My bf ordered the works with egg whites and enjoyed it along with the watermelon drink.

I took my girls and a friend of mine here for lunch. We found the service friendly and the staff was fast to get us seated. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. We ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup/salad combos. 2 of us had their butternut squash soup, my oldest had the tomato soup, and youngest had a salad with ranch. Their ham and Gruyère cheese is full of flavor! The turkey sandwich was fresh and flavorful! And the drinks?! So so good!

These are re-done and burnt at the bottom again.

Been to first watch many many times but the Custer location is in complete disarray. We were a party of 10. The folks bringing out the food didn't know what goes where. Nobody checked what was going out because the food was half uncooked on one side and burnt on the other. Burnt potatoes! You have to really not pay attention to send out burnt potatoes for an entire table. Asked for the manager and he took care of us really well and had the food remade. Thank you Giving it 3 stars because of the manager. Otherwise would have gone with 1.

Free donuts with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Compliments from our amazing waitress for my daughter's bday.

We really like first watch for brunch. My daughter and I enjoy coming here and having some mimosas with our breakfast. Needless to say we came here to celebrate her birthday (starting her day right). I have to say our waitress was AMAZING! Sydney you definitely made her day. Not only you were so attentive and brought us everything exactly how we wanted it and the food was on point but your dedication was very appreciated. Plus the donuts were a perfect touch for the end of our meal there. Thank you!! All our food was so good. Fresh, flavorful, delicious, top quality and the prices are great. I never had anything that I wasn't happy at first watch. This place can be family/friends/work/date/or simply eating alone and it works out for any occasion. It's always clean and lots of natural light and pretty inside. Everyone was very nice to us and asking if we needed anything. Very attentive. This is an A plus brunch place. Definitely check it out!

Never thought I would eat Asian food at First Watch but wow...they did this right. Soul Seoul Hash was so delicious that I licked my plate after. And yes, the photo is what's left after my breakfast. I would totally come back here to just eat that.

Arrived at 8am this morning. It's an ok location - definitely not as efficient as the Dallas locations but it's closer to home for me. It's possible they are short on staff or haven't figured out their flow yet. Definitely best to go early in the day than later, based on other reviews. The purple haze is tasty as ever. You can't go wrong with lavender lemonade. The hash was tasty as well - although I think the Dallas location made it better, the potatoes were nice and crispy, albeit uneven. I enjoyed it.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday at 12pm. I got the app and checked in online, so we had no wait when we got to the restaurant. The waiter was very kind and accommodating. We got the Florentine Eggs Benedict, 1/2 Avocado Chop Salad/1/2 Monterey Club, Italian Omelette with Potatoes, Trifecta with Scrambled eggs, Banana Granola Crunch pancake, and turkey sausage. The Avocado Chop Salad was amazing! Tasted so fresh and was perfectly dressed. I didn't like the Monterey Club sandwich as much because it didn't have a lot of flavor. The Florentine eggs Benedict was quite tasty. I loved the tomato and the consistency of the hollandaise sauce. I didn't love the ciabatta bread as much because it was tough and harder to chew. The Italian omelette was very tasty. The Italian sausage was very flavorful. I think the potatoes stole the show! Perfect blend of the crunchy skin and soft interior. The Banana Granola Crunch pancake was also so tasty! Great flavor and wasn't way too sweet. Overall, I think First Watch has some of the best brunch in DFW for it's price. I will definitely be returning!

Smoked Salmon Benedict (2/5*) - the egg was not poached, completely hard boiled and the smoked salmon was not great

The chicken fried steak with waffles was the standout of the meal. The steak was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Paired with the light, golden waffle, every bite struck the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste, making the dish as beautiful as it was delicious. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting farmhouse ambiance that feels both stylish and comfortable--perfect for a relaxed brunch or a special occasion. If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and order the espresso martini and the chicken fried steak with waffles--you won't be disappointed. I order three eggs over medium the yolk could have been a bit more runny. I didn't care for the has because it did not have any potatoes in it. Service was good but did not knock my socks off. The restaurant is decorated very nice and had a good vibe. I ordered a second piece of sourdough toast which tasted great hence the reason for a second piece. The real home made jam made the toast. When the bill came I was charged $4.50 for a single piece of toast. This was a ridiculous amount for a single piece of toast it was more than my iced tea. Really $2.00 for a piece of bread toasted seems like a reasonable price. I just finished breakfast at another breakfast spot up on University. I really can't compare apples to apples except for the addition pice of toast. $1.99 for two slices of toast. Over all meal was priced fair. I just don't think I will be back here due to the prices.

I love the dimmed lights and homey yet upscale feeling this place gives. We had a really amazing server who offered up some great recommendations as first time customers. She had only been there two weeks, but told us she went through a two week training prior so they know their stuff!! Don't be afraid to ask questions. How I would rate our meal: Drinks: I got the amethyst dream and he got the smoke haus. Presentation of both was really nice, enjoyed both drinks but would probably try something different on our next visit. Appetizer: we got the Caesar salad to share. Loved the croutons and the dressing. It seemed a bit small but possibly for one person it would be enough! Entree: I got the crispy chicken breast, the piece of chicken is huge!! All the flavors of the dish come together so well, it's truly one of my most favorite things I've eaten recently! We also tried a side of mashed potatoes which were good and my fiancé got the red fish which he enjoyed. It is pretty light though, so maybe wouldn't recommend if you're REALLY hungry. Dessert: we got the milk and cookies. I wasn't honestly too impressed. I think I expected them to be warmed and gooey and they were not. However reheating the chocolate chip at home was good! For it being a farm to table restaurant, I found the prices to be very reasonable! I already know what I plan to order on our next visit. Also looking forward to bringing some friends/family to the third floor for drinks and live music!

I tried three of their salsas: salsa verde, salsa verde tatemada (served warm), and the habanero salsa. The two green salsas were decent, but the habanero stood out with great flavor and a nice kick of heat. The staff was super friendly, and service was quick on both visits. Overall, based on consistency and my experience across both trips, I'd rate this spot 3.5 stars.
