This review is for HAPPY HOUR! By now everyone knows this is my favorite hour of the day. The prices are AMAZING. The atmosphere is chill and the drinks are DIVINE. Hopdoddy is a cool spot to have drinks. I enjoy sipping on the LIL Larry adult beverage. It's cold, refreshing and packs a big punch. LIL Larry makes me feel PROUD! It has a good taste. The bar is a fun setting and the staff is friendly. The happy hour menu offers a variety of drinks. It's clean at this location. They offer a variety of seating options. Next time I will eat it's been awhile since I have been to Hopdoddy. Eventually I may switch to a BIG Larry, but for now little Larry works! read more

Wow....ME THINKS NOT!!! Sorry. I really wanted to like this new experience, but the burgers are severely over priced and lack flavor. I spent over $45 for two burgers and fries....wow...so not worth it. I paid over $9 for the worst French Fries I have tasted in a long time.....I mean it's French fries.....if you charge that much money then the fries should be spectacular. But, I also ordered the sweet potatoes french fries and it was good....not the best I have ever tasted, but good. This was a first and last time experience. I wish someone warned me to not waste my money. Consider this your warning. There was 4 of us they didn't seem as friendly this time or welcoming. We didn't stay. Third time was ok but again wasn't as impressed with the food and drinks. I would try again. Really weird set up. You get in line and cant get a place to sit. The place has no organization, we got turned away because we have to "reserve a spot" which is weird. Everyone in line standing didn't know this and after you place your order you have nowhere to sit at. Practically we were kicked out cause we have no "reserved spot". read more

Another fantastic lunch at Hopdoddy! Service quick and by very friendly staff! Lunch time is usually busy here, but today being a slightly warm day, the patio was open and an excellent choice! We ordered the Roosevelt Burger and the Thunderbowl along with side of regular fries! The bison meat in the Roosevelt was so flavorful and handling it expertly while cooking it to medium rare made it even more tasty. The Thunderbowl was chock full of salad veggies and with a luscious portion of white chicken meat. And the sauces just perfect ! The fries as always fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned and was complimented by the truffle sauce. So perfect ! And the huge chilled goblets of Lagunitas and Modelo Especiale made the meal even more satisfying and complete! Man! We are getting spoilt here!! We will be back soon! read more

My husband was extremely hungry, so he went all in and ordered two burgers: the Diablo and the Nashville Hot Chicken. Both were really good, bold in flavor, and definitely hit the spot. The setup here is a little different but easy once you get it you order first, then they assign you a table and bring the food out, which worked smoothly for us. They also have a full bar, and the drinks were really good. Even the fountain drink options were better than average, which is always a nice surprise. I visited Hopdoddy Burger Bar for the first time, and was not disappointed. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly as I walked in, It's nice that they sit you at a table and serve you, I like that type of restaurant experience. The burgers are fairly priced and delicious, the fries are crispy and fluffy. They have a great little bar in the middle of the restaurant and fantastic outside patio for your pup! The only thing I hold against them is that they have Coke products and not Pepsi, but that's my preference I had the double bacon jam which is a double 4 oz smashburger with a delicious tomato bacon jam, perfectly cooked, not too messy, held together well, on a nice brioche bun. As I'm sitting here doing this review, one of the staff recommended the tres leches shake to follow up my meal, I shouldn't...but I definitely am going to get it. Definitely recommend it! read more

The shareable sweet potato fries were half the size we got several years ago when we ate at the Beltline location. The quality is there, but the quantity has gone down tremendously. 2 burgers and a shareable fry, + water (free) is $50 (inc. tax + tip), that's crazy! So, Hopdoddy, please keep up the flavor & quality, but please do something about the quantity. attempted to place my order online, but the website kicked me out when I tried to submit it. So I decided to go in and order instead. While checking out, I noticed an additional $1.25 charge for cheese. I asked about it since I simply wanted to substitute American for cheddar. I was told that it was an upcharge. I clarified, "So swapping one cheese for another is considered an upcharge?" The employee confirmed that it was. The fact that I wasn't even told that substituting out the cheese with cost me $1.25 when I asked about it he seemed bothered. So I just told him I would not be coming back. A manager then came over, though she hadn't heard the earlier conversation. She asked if I wanted to sit while waiting, and I declined. I also mentioned that this would likely be my last visit because I was surprised to be charged $1.25 just to change the cheese on my burger. She explained that the system typically doesn't handle substitutions well and that they usually note those changes in the comments instead. Unfortunately, it seems that process wasn't followed in my case, as I was still charged the $1.25. What was more disappointing was that no refund was offered. To make matters worse, the food itself was underwhelming. Although the fries were hot, they were rubbery and chewy and didn't taste very good. The burger was not very good and I'm not even sure where my 1.25 cheese was because I barely saw it on my burger. This will be the first and last time I visit any of these establishments.
