I came here today at 1:30 pm and it basically empty, the server was very attentive and on top of everything! The service was fast, polite and speedy. Hello everyone! Just a quick update to say that I was in the area today and stopped in for lunch at Chuck Wagon and they are still better than ever! Had the Split Pea Soup and the Corn Beef Cabbage and both were awesome! Service better than ever as well. I walked in while as they were starting closing prep as that open until 2:30 PM on most days and they told me to sit down and they fired up the kitchen for me so I could have lunch. This establishment has been in the same location for the entirety of my 50+ years I have been a Kendall resident and always found the home cooking and neighborly atmosphere welcoming. The food is fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Pricing is not cheap. But you are presented with a hearty portion on your plate. The wait staff are as friendly as your next door neighbor. We were a little early to shop at Costco on our way to the Keys so I turned to Yelp to find a good place for breakfast. The Chuck Wagon has great reviews and when we pulled into the parking lot it was full at 8:30 on a Sunday morning so we knew we had selected well. We were greeted right away by our server Jeanette who has worked at the Chuck Wagon for 30 years. She was fun and personable and most importantly really good at her job. We were well taken care of. My husband and I visited this location on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The parking lot was full so we have to park on a street behind the restaurant. There was no wait and we were promptly seated.
