The entrance

Our uber driver suggested this brunch spot and so we checked it out and it was amazing!! The place was busy and the waiting room is small, but worth it! The first look inside was beautiful and spacious! We got a big booth table right next to the bathroom, but it fit all 8 of us. They even have a farm table at the top of the stairs. The food was out of this world! Definitely ate almost my whole breakfast, my sister finished her whole cinnamon chip pancake breakfast. The coffee was awesome. And the waitress was so attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend this spot if you want some good 'ol fashioned country breakfast with a warm atmosphere!

This is my first time coming to first watch. I have them in Houston and I've just never been because I don't have one around the corner like other brunch places. Everything we ordered was large portions and the prices were not bad at all. I literally got French toast and a soda for 20 bucks. And the French toast came with like a blueberry compote. No complaints about my food and I also enjoyed that they allow you to self serve coffee while you're waiting in line for a table so that's why I ordered a soda because I already had my coffee while waiting. Not sure if all the locations are like this, but the one in downtown Nashville was very pretty and a loft vibe to it. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quick inexpensive breakfast brunch in Nashville.

My mom wanted to come here on St. Patty's to get corned beef hash. Unfortunately she didn't read that it was just hash, so she had the farmhouse hash while I had the chickenchanga. Both were very good. We had walked in with a party of 10 at 10 am and got seated immediately. Nice staff and a good breakfast. Guess we will be making mom corned beef hash once we get home.

Love First Watch! Wish I had went sooner during our trip. They have many healthy options. Everything came out delicious and it's such a cute place. Love the decor inside. I had the Pomegranate Sunrise and the Elevated Egg sandwich. My husband had the Morning Meditation juice with the Trifecta, which he chose waffle and bacon as his choices. Would definitely be back for more, great place, and great staff!

This was such a nice find for breakfast. Got welcomed by 4 people at the entrance and the service was stupendous. The food was amazing and you can go light or have a big meal. All tasty options. Very spacious and clean with an inviting look and vibe.

Jiggly soup

This was an all around gross experience. Quality of food was bad. Drinks were flat. Potatoes were burnt. Food wasn't even warm and to top it off a massive hair in the drink. Don't recommend.

Good spot for brunch in downtown Nashville. The food and drink are great, but unfortunately the service is mediocre at best. Location is great just off of Broadway, but that means parking is street parking or parking ramps nearby. There was confusion on entering on how to notify staff you're there. I did get a table quickly for a party of one, but the staff was not attentive. I got the Works Omelet with potatoes and a Bloody Mary. The food and drink were great, but the service was not. Shortly after the food came out the waitress brought the bill. She did not ask if I wanted anything else. I would have ordered another drink, but it seemed like they were more focused on the quantity of patrons than quality of their experience. Great place for food, but service is mediocre at best.

I don't normally eat at chain restaurants but I wanted some avocado toast and it looked delicious on the menu. I ordered delivery to my Airbnb and it came looking like a car ran it over. What a disappointment!

Walked in and was greeted right away. The atmosphere was very inviting. Nice open windows for great lighting. Plenty of tables. Food/ drinks were great.

The server at the bar was very nice and welcoming. He took my order very quickly. The food was delicious, however it did come out cold. I ordered the chicken pesto breakfast bowel. The flavors were amazing. I also ordered the morning meditation. It was a bit tart, but the sweetness of the bowl blended in well.

This place was pretty good. We didn't have any wait. Our server was really nice and efficient. He was handling a lot of tables at once. I really like the atmosphere. It is open and bright. And the seats are very comfortable. The food was pretty good, but everything seemed a bit off. I think it was just very pretty so I expected the flavor to be a bit more. I would go back and try other things.

My first time going to First Watch, I didn't know they have several in different states. It's not in NYC. Luckily, this was up the block from the hotel we stayed at and it's right off Broadway. Everything we had was good & our waitress was nice. First let's talk about the Purple Haze o sooooo super good and refreshing. I'm not a pancake or French toast girlie (I'm a waffles girlie) but I tried both this weekend in Nashville. The Hawaiian French Toast was really tasty had a nice blend to it. I had the shrimp & grits which were super tasty & flavorful. My favorite was in New Orleans but these were good too. The veggie hash was good & tasty as â„“â„“. The ambiance is also cute & lively.

I am a huge fan of First Watch. This seems to be a newly opened location right off of Broadway. We went early on a Saturday morning so we didn't have to wait. We joined the waitlist before we got there, but it wasn't even needed. By the time we left it was getting pretty packed. Their iced coffees are so delicious! I love the cold foam they put on them. I highly recommend ordering one! I got the Chickichanga breakfast wrap and it was absolutely delicious! I swapped the potatoes for the grits. Very good choice I made. I would definitely go back here!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion. We had read somewhere that Acme Feed & Seed (in an historic 1890 building) offered a quieter alternative. We gathered around a nice table near the stage on the first floor, and maybe there were a dozen other people there? Yet, on the next Broadway block things were in full swing? We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. Add the string base, sax, and fiddle, and we experienced a very impressive whole. We were highly entertained and engaged, and we're still talking about the experience!
