The food was not good from my experience. I got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was undercooked and the waffle was so stale I could barely cut or bite into it. Like actually gross... and not even close to being worth $24... Employees started mopping the floors right next to our table an hour before close while we were still eating (not because of a big mess, they were genuinely starting closing duties). The vibe in there was also weird because they operate mainly by reservation and don't really accept walk-ins, even when more than half of their tables are open. Because of this, it was very empty and quiet (in a weird way). Our server was wonderful. The host was fine. It was on waffles instead of English muffins. I liked the idea, but the waffle was a bit on the soggy side because of the steam sitting in the plate. We came in for brunch the day of Mother's Day, the dining room was lively but not overcrowded, and the interior was so beautiful! I loved the classy beach aesthetic. There were 5 of us including my mom and dad, it also happened to be my birthday and we wrote that we were celebrating both a birthday and Mother's Day on our reservation. The server didn't mention either occasion throughout the meal, despite my mom mentioning my birthday to her while I was in the restroom. It would've been nice to have a little champagne toast or dessert, or an acknowledgment of some sort to make the day feel more special, but the food was really good so it didn't really matter. The restaurant is quiet beautiful with tile flooring and white tables to match. They have a full bar, coffee bar and a good menu full of different options. We ordered fried pickles for the table ( they weren't our favorite) way too battered and little pickle flavored. The dip was good though. The kale salad was refreshing but it was a little dry but, ask for more dressing on the side and it was scrumptious. What an incredibleeeeee restaurant! We came here for brunch for a bachelorette with 12 people (made reservations a bit in advance). I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The ambiance = rustic luxe chic. The service = phenomenal. The food + cocktails = 10/10. I got the seasonal grain bowl and it was one loaded bowl with feta, pickled onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus, quinoa, and arugula. Their fried chicken sandwich came crispy and hot, and the coleslaw on it was delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower was the best appetizer and the dipping sauce matched perfectly with it. We got seated about 30-45 minutes after our reservation and then once we were seated it took about another 30-45 just to get our drinks. The food was pretty good. I really liked the kale caesar salad and my egg and cheese biscuit. We came for bottomless mimosas & they brought us out crafts of champagne and juice which was way more preferable to refilling our glasses with premixed mimosa. They allowed us to order brunch at the bar to go since they were closing to open for dinner service in 30 minutes. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes with a side of bacon and my friend ordered the liberty chicken sandwich. My pancakes were sooo good and not overwhelmingly sweet, especially since the blueberry and lemon compote added the sweetness. My friend loved her chicken sandwich and of the other places we tried Nashville hot chicken, she appreciated not just the flavor of the chicken but the flavors of the biscuit they used. Reservations are highly recommended as this place gets busy -especially for weekend brunch. We arrived after football start time so not as busy as usual but the service was quite slow. I ordered a cocktail, the just rum with it, from the menu but was told it was discontinued. It was a simple drink and with a full bar the staff could have easily honored my request but chose not too. I rejected the substitution of a pineapple mimosa which was pretty flat and ordered a coffee instead. We had brunch here this morning and I loved every bit of it. The decor was airy yet festive, the menu had all kinds of fabulous options, and the food was delicious. (Don't sleep on the lemon curd options, and also make sure to get the fabulously crispy potatoes.) But the star of the show was our amazing server, Lauren. I don't think I've ever written a yelp review before, but I felt compelled to do so because of her stellar service. She was peppy, funny, and SO helpful!! She gave us plenty of suggestions of things on the menu, bantered with us and slowed down her order taking to accommodate a couple people who hadn't yet decided what to get, and was overall the best server I've ever had in my life. This was not a good experience at all here. Our server was so rude, stating "you kind of just have to figure it out yourself" when asked about gluten free options (I have a gluten allergy). There were so many careless remarks made by our server, we all felt like an inconvenience. Not once were we checked on when eating our food. Another thing, they were all out of soap in the women's bathroom the entire time we were there and when we informed them, they continued to tell us that there was soap underneath the sinks so that we could refill the soap ourselves.
