Chicken & Waffle, American Breakfast, mimosa
    Christina B.

We came in for brunch the day of Mother's Day, the dining room was lively but not overcrowded, and the interior was so beautiful! I loved the classy beach aesthetic. There were 5 of us including my mom and dad, it also happened to be my birthday and we wrote that we were celebrating both a birthday and Mother's Day on our reservation. The server didn't mention either occasion throughout the meal, despite my mom mentioning my birthday to her while I was in the restroom. It would've been nice to have a little champagne toast or dessert, or an acknowledgment of some sort to make the day feel more special, but the food was really good so it didn't really matter. I loved the chicken and waffles, the candied jalapeños and crema balanced each other perfectly. Another standout was the blueberry lemon pancakes. The mimosa was pretty weak, but my mom loved her espresso martini. I might not come back for a special occasion, but it's a cute place for a downtown brunch

    - water has no ice, tastes like nothing. - Orange juice is sour, bitter - Menu looks absolutely delicious - Server is nice - Drinks came fast - No paper napkins - Atmosphere is good music and cute decor - pancakes are delicious, but huge. Share them!! - Bathroom is clean, pretty, but cold. Bonus points for the tray you can put your phone on! - Toilet paper is thin - Bathroom is extremely echoey, don't fart. - Each stall has enough room to hit a Shirley temple with a small tap routine. - overall 9/10

This place is so cute but needs a serious detail clean. Where we were sitting tons of dust bunnies hanging from ceiling and spiderwebs. The pancakes were good but not $17 good and very little syrup and our waitress wasn't back in a reasonable time to get more. I think she was really busy and did do a good job. The bottomless mimosas for $24 for 90 minutes is a great deal but they don't put the champagne in a bucket to keep cold so it was warm and by end and not very bubbly but love the 4 juice options.

The restaurant is quiet beautiful with tile flooring and white tables to match. They have a full bar, coffee bar and a good menu full of different options. We ordered fried pickles for the table ( they weren't our favorite) way too battered and little pickle flavored. The dip was good though. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with kale Caesar salad. The sandwich was really good and really spicy. The kale salad was refreshing but it was a little dry but, ask for more dressing on the side and it was scrumptious. Our server was really kind and helpful but she was super busy taking care of us and looked like 4 other tables she rocked!

What an incredibleeeeee restaurant! We came here for brunch for a bachelorette with 12 people (made reservations a bit in advance). I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The ambiance = rustic luxe chic. The service = phenomenal. The food + cocktails = 10/10. I got the seasonal grain bowl and it was one loaded bowl with feta, pickled onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus, quinoa, and arugula. Their fried chicken sandwich came crispy and hot, and the coleslaw on it was delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower was the best appetizer and the dipping sauce matched perfectly with it. All of our cocktails were a hit as well; refreshing and high quality. If you're looking for great service, a cute vibe, and quality American fare, I recommend Liberty Common.

Nice food court with lots of variety! They have a common beverage area with fountain sodas. We tried the brisket which was good.

We went for brunch to celebrate my friend's birthday and the service and food were great! Our server was so kind and patient. She gave us recommendations and waited (a long time) for us to decide . Plus, the place is so pretty. We loved it I ordered Shrimp & Grits, and it was amazing

Don't even bother making a reservation here because you will end up waiting forever for your table anyways. We got seated about 30-45 minutes after our reservation and then once we were seated it took about another 30-45 just to get our drinks. The food was pretty good. I really liked the kale caesar salad and my egg and cheese biscuit. We came for bottomless mimosas & they brought us out crafts of champagne and juice which was way more preferable to refilling our glasses with premixed mimosa. Overall, not super impressed and was really annoyed by the slow service.

One of my favorite spots for both dinner and brunch. Servers are always nice, food tastes great, and drinks are yum. Such a cute aesthetic too.

Liberty Commons has a top-notch, gorgeous interior and the beauty extends to the food itself. Everything is trendy and hip, perfect to its Nashville tourist clientele. However, our food itself was mediocre and absolutely, in no way shape or form, worth the listed prices. You will absolutely leave feeling cheated out of your hard-earned money as the taste of the food is way too basic and the service is very neglectful to justify these $$$ prices. My seasonal grain bowl (+$20) with medium egg on top (+$4). I pay $8 for a similar meal back home. You'll get your Instagram-worthy pictures at a high cost here, that's for sure.

Cute space, we were there for brunch (definitely make a reservation). Service was a tad slow but we had a large group. Lemon curd waffles were yummy and there's also plenty of options for eggs Benedict for you to choose from.

Saturday Brunch with bottomless mimosas and featuring some dope people. Liberty Common was a new spot for all of us, and we were not disappointed! The lighting is super inviting, the bar setup is very appealing to the eye and has great selection. The DJ has a mixed bag of music for all customers. Service was great! The food was pretty good (my Nashville Hot Chicken was fried a little too hard, and the Blueberry & Lemon pancakes had way too much blueberry, made the pancakes super soggy). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and definitely will spin the block on this spot for sure.

The restaurant is a renovated house - the walls are decorated with awards and once you taste the food - you know why. They also have a lovely collection of teapots in the windows. Once the other party left, he started clearing the table- which was a little off putting. The food was phenomenal. The party at our table must have sat down a few minutes before us because some of the dishes had already begun to come out. The amazing spread included, perfectly fried and seasoned pork chops, chicken, baked chicken, creamy mac & cheese, wide green beans, corn, dressing with a lot of sage, mash potatoes & gravy, cucumbers, cole slaw, biscuits, cornbread, peach preserves, apples, banana pudding. Their merch has a catchy slogan about eating too much- which is fitting. lol. The other thing is the price point is incredible. Highly recommend visiting them if you find yourself in Nashville!

We started with the meatball skewers, which were great, and the sauce that came with them was perfection. I also have to mention the Cabernet, one of the best glasses of wine I've had in a while. The one drawback was the dinner menu felt a little limited on options. That said, what we got delivered. My fiancé had the strip steak, which was really good, and I got the pork, which was also amazing. Overall a really good experience. The 3.5 is mainly because we spent $250 and still left a little hungry. Other than that, a really cool place worth checking out.

I even had a chance to go before, when Toby and I had made plans in 2020 to come to the city. Obviously, we know what happened then. I think it was worth the wait. I loved their whole take on Southern cuisine. From the confit wings in Alabama white sauce to their Bucksnort trout, to their Heritage pork--everything tasted delightful. Admittedly, the bright green sauce and saturated Carolina gold rice looked a little funny to me. But once I had my first bite I thought it was heavenly. The server was impeccable. He was courteous, quick, and helpful. I had questions about the menu and concerns about if the arrangement of dishes ordered were too much. But he made the whole meal better with his suggestions and assurances. Even the other incidental staff were well-trained, filling the water and always assisting with the experience. The ambiance was picture-perfect. Obviously the place is permeated with charm and class in equal measure. It felt like we were eating in our well-off friend's home and had put together a spread of time-tested country favorites but with a twist. From the decor to the herb and vegetable garden outside, I felt super welcomed and comfortable. Yes, Husk was a success. I'm a changed man because of the experience. Sufficed to say I will be recommending it to even more people than before and will be waiting like a puppy at the window back home for the next opportunity to come back to Nashville and/or the other locations for my next meal.
