Great place to have a business lunch as this was. The menu is dense so you may want to view it beforehand. If you're a breakfast person then you might find the selections more to your liking. We seated ourselves but were quickly greeted by a waiter who took our drink order. Since this was my first time here, I asked for a recommendation and this is what he chose. The potatoes were delicious and cooked perfectly, I did add salt and pepper to them. The sandwich was rich and plentiful. While I'm not big on hot sauce with my eggs, it seems to work with this pairing. I left satisfied. read more

It was a bit cramped when I came in because there was so many people waiting, but that is my only complaint! This place hit everything out of the park! I got a purple haze lemonade, the chickichanga, and upgraded my potatoes, which was the best decision i have ever made in my life by far. My whole meal made my tummy smile as well as my face, it was outstanding and I would definitely come back here and recommend. Came from Chicago and loved it on my vacay, wouldn't order the ice coffee again, the blend is way too sweet and didn't really taste like coffee. One and done... Went here to have brunch with my wife and daughter. Called ahead to get on the wait, which was allegedly 20 minutes. Arrived at restaurant 15 minutes later only to find out it may be an additional 30 minutes. After seating, waited another 10 minutes for a server. Our waitress was very nice and took our orders once she got around to our table. The restaurant was busy and appeared to be staffed appropriately, but nobody seemed to be in any hurry. In any case, we ordered the donut holes which came with melted chocolate and berry compote. The food runner dumped the compote and chocolate on my daughter as she was trying to lay the plate on the table with one hand. She apologized and then took her time getting a cloth to clean the table while my daughter was attempting to get the food off her hands, pants and hoodie. We got our meals and found the eggs, whether poached or over-medium to be under done. The server took the donut holes off the bill in consideration for my daughter having to wear the sauces. When I went to pay the bill, the on-duty manager was unwilling to comp more than the donut holes, saying that she believed it to be just consideration for my daughter's ruined clothes. Went for the specialty menu, wasn't given it. Tried to order off the board was told they are out of the cinnamon chip. Wasn't asked if I wanted more time to figure out my order. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I've been to this place 4x within the span of 3 years. I live out of town so I come & visit and when we go out , this is where we go. The service every time from the door to exiting is horrible. The waitresses like to argue with you after they have messed up your order , not accommodating either for family, & not caring. Today the waitress was not personable or even friendly. Didn't offer us complimentary water like usual but mostly every table around us had some , got our order wrong and then towards the end just dropped the check off and walked away. Didn't ask if we wanted to go boxes , any more drinks or anything. Just total bare minimum from this place. Absolutely disappointed in this establishment. Our waitress was horrible and did not bring us our drinks after 30 minutes. 30 minutes later the waitress comes over and tells us that the kitchen is backed up and that our food won't be out for another hour. My only complaint is about my food on two separate occasions arriving cold. Breakfast food, especially eggs, should be served hot. Otherwise, First Watch offers great breakfasts and a carafe of coffee is left for refills. If the eggs were hot, five stars. read more

Since we've been so busy with work, Some coworkers and I started a 1st Tuesday of the month lunch date. First Watch has been our go to spot for many reasons. There's something for everyone!! The service has been outstanding and the food absolutely yummy. This last time we had Armand as our waiter. He was the absolute best!!! We will definitely be returning (1st Tuesday in May)!! Let's get straight to it. Service - perfect. Greeted and seated quickly with a smile. Server was prompt, friendly, courteous. She stopped by enough to check in but not overbearingly so. Food - I always order the specials at FW because it keeps the menu fresh. The Shishito Breakfast Hash could not have been prepared better. Every bite well seasoned, could taste everything on its own but still all worked together. I mean, brisket for breakfast....bruhhhh, yes please!! Very few chain restaurants impressive me. My husband and I both ordered the eggs Benedict only to have to send it back due to the eggs being served almost raw. I should've take a picture of the flat goo but figured it would be fixed with a proper poached egg. My daughter ate her entire breakfast and our server returned saying she asked for it to be poached hard. I told her that now it will be hard boiled. After waiting close to twenty minutes, two replacement dishes came out completely over cooked. We weren't charged but that's only fair considering we had no breakfast. Staff was unprofessional and embarrassed me and my fiancé. 2 associates literally ran out after us yelling at us that we didn't pay in front of everyone causing a scene. Which was rude because I still ordered another drink he has to add and bring another bill and I felt rushed. After spending almost $100 and tipping well, this left me with a bad experience and ruined my whole time I was there. I go here for breakfast on a regular basis. It's in the top 2 breakfast places in this area. The food is wonderful and the customer service is amazing. The staff really makes you feel welcome. The manager is a gentleman named Glenn Prichard, he goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is pleasant and consistent. Clearly this attention to detail rolls down hill because the rest of his staff follows suit. I highly recommend eating here! read more

I have visited First Watch in Grove Lane a few times and have not been disappointed. The food was always great. Diverse menu with different styles of breakfast food. The waitress staff were always friendly and helpful in helping you make your selections. The place looked clean and comfortable. Restaurant traffic is heavy early morning but the wait is worth it. My fiance and I went here for breakfast on both our "lunch breaks." It was SO good. I typically do not seek out breakfast food but this food would be worth the drive from our home 35+ minutes away the next time we come. Horrible situation. We placed our orders and sat there for 15 minutes without coffee. Waiter no where to be found. Had to ask another waiter to get our coffee. Now 45 minutes in still no food. Had to ask another waiter to get our waiter who came by and asked us what it was that we ordered. We told him. Still nothing after 5 minutes- now we are 50 min in. We walked up to the counter to pay for the coffee bc breakfast is ruined. They proceeded to tell us there was a mix up and our orders were not placed. WTF kind of management is this. read more

On my first visit to First Watch I was pleased with the extensive menu options, the attentive service and the ambiance. My frittata was stuffed with all the delicious ingredients promised but was a little overcooked. Dishes are ample which I guess justifies the high cost for a breakfast item.
