Biscuits & Turkey Sausage Gravy With Eggs

Our group probably looked like crazy people sitting in the parking lot at 6:53 am waiting for them to open but my mom and I had just been picked up from the airport and wanted breakfast haha Obviously, parking was easy and we were greeted and seated right away since we were the first customers of the day. We ordered the breakfast tacos, smoked salmon frittata, and biscuits and gravy. The food came out quickly and the portion sizes were generous. We all enjoyed what we got and highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch!

This review is overdue. I've been to this First Watch more than a handful of times and I have not been disappointed. I have tried different dishes from here and just this past Sunday, I tried the B.E.C. from their Spring menu. It was so good! The sandwich itself and the simple salad that it came with, were very fresh and delicious. Another favorite of mine from here is the smoked salmon frittata. Service is consistently attentive and efficient. The place is neat, the bathrooms are clean, and parking is easy. It gets super busy especially on the weekends so it's a great idea to get there early or be prepared to wait. 'Til next time!

Parking is free and plentiful in the parking lot in front and to the side of the entrance of restaurant at the end of a strip mall. Restaurant was clean and roomy it was pretty empty but still took a bit to be seated. Food was pretty good but eggs over medium were over cooked and eggs poached were very under cooked. Potatoes would have been better had the onions not been burned. Mimosas were served as a glass of orange juice and a little single serve bottle of Prosecco. Prices were average for the area.

I'm here on business and I ordered via Uber Eats. I got the Floridian French Toast, turkey sausage links and scrambled eggs w/cheese. I probably won't do that again. The food arrived very cold and inedible. The brioche bread was very thick and the fruit on top was delicious. While I believe this establishment has excellent quality food, it's probably better to dine in as opposed to delivery.

The moment you walk in you're greeted by a warm, inviting modern atmosphere. The hostess smiles genuinely, immediately making you feel welcome. I was seated quickly (it was 7ish in the am on a Saturday), and the server arrived soon after, offering coffee with a cheerful demeanor and a sense of urgency that doesn't feel rushed. The menu has a wonderful balance of classic breakfast staples and creative options. They even have Mimosas and a few other specialty adult beverages in o chose from. My server- Jordan- was knowledgeable, offering recommendations that feel personal, not scripted. He listened attentively, and my special request--to substitute the regular bacon with their famous Million Dollar bacon--was met with a positive attitude and reassurance that it's no problem. When the food arrived, it was aesthetically pleasing and hot. The Million Dollar bacon (one of the things that keeps me recommending this chain of restaurants in multiple states) is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The cheese grits- I have to admit that I never order grits from restaurants because I'm a southern girl and most don't get them to my liking - where perfectly textured and flavored. Everything is cooked to perfection, showing care in the kitchen. Throughout the meal, Jordan checked in at just the right moments, refilling drinks and ensuring everything was to my satisfaction. The vibe of the place is relaxed but lively, with a soft background of chatter, music and the occasional sound of clinking coffee cups. The experience wraps up smoothly with the both the hostess and my server- Jordan- promptly offering the check, thanking me warmly, and wishing me a great rest of my day. You can scan the QR code with your mobile phone on the bill and pay right from your seat or pay at the front desk. Great food at an economical price. All the food was very tasty with the potatoes being exceptional. Coffee provided in pot for meal which is most convenient. Service was fast and efficient. Restaurant is very spacious, well lit, and clean. Give it try, you will not be disappointed. Free parking, location is at the end of the strip mall.

The food was great. It would have been nice if they had a vegan option for meat but I was able to substitute fruit instead. Short wait time and the staff were very friendly and attentive. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back again.

There was a little wait when we arrived but it wasn't bad. The hostess was nice which was appreciated. Our server...not so much. Not that she was mean, but she wasn't very attentive and I had to ask multiple times for water. The ambiance was nice and chill, a little loud but nothing out of the ordinary. This was my first time at this location but I have been to others. Now...here's what you came for - the food. We had coffee too and that was just okay. Traditional w/ham: 8/10 this was good and the food was enjoyed. The eggs were like warm and not cooked as asked. The piece of bread was small but other than that, overall it was enjoyed. Farmhouse hash: 6/10 Food was lukewarm, potatoes were still a little hard and it lacked flavor overall. I did like that they offered strawberry jam for the toast.

First Watch is a breakfast, brunch, lunch place that closes at 2 or 2:30 pm. No buffet.

Not bad during weekdays or non-holiday weekends. I avoid the plaza in general during Thanksgiving and Christmas

This is not a Bears-themed steakhouse as much as it is a steakhouse with some Ditka art. Don't expect to see wall to wall memorabilia. But what this place does exceptionally well is food and service. The attentiveness was perfect - not obsequious, not absent. I ate lots of different sides and they were all good: the house salad; oven-fired bread; jalapeño hasbrowns; etc. Even though I did not try any of the entrees or steaks, this is clearly a restaurant for people who care about food.

Shopping mall chic?…read more If you've spent any time near a mall in the suburbs, there are a few staples you'll inevitably come across, one of them being Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse at 2105 S. Spring Rd. Gibsons has long been known as a go-to for a slightly upscale steakhouse experience in the suburbs. I hadn't been in years, but we were in the area and decided to go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner to celebrate my birthday, so we gave Gibsons another try. One highlight was the complimentary valet service, it was quick, easy, and very efficient. The restaurant was busy with lots of families and celebrations. The interior has a classic, almost mob-era steakhouse vibe, reminiscent of old-school 1930s-40s Italian-American dining rooms. Service was friendly and accommodating throughout the night. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and for my entrée I had a ribeye with a side of potatoes and broccoli. My friend ordered a filet mignon salad. We also shared a side salad. The food was solid overall, but the salads were a bit watery, and the ranch dressing was just okay. The steak was good, but not quite the standout I expected given the price point, ribs are close to $70, so expectations are understandably high. Everything felt consistent, but not particularly memorable. That said, Gibsons does feel very steady and familiar, which may be part of its appeal. It's the kind of place people return to because they know exactly what they're going to get. Even the bread was fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. One of the more memorable (and amusing) parts of the experience was the birthday tradition. I still can't fully make out what they're saying during the birthday song, it's loud, a bit barked, and honestly both funny and slightly intimidating. I can't decide if I love it or would be terrified by it as a kid. There was also an interesting moment with dessert, my ice cream was placed in a plastic bag inside a box of ice. Creative, but not exactly elegant. I definitely didn't eat it, but it was memorable in its own way. Overall, if you're looking for a consistent, classic steakhouse experience that leans more familiar than elevated, Gibsons fits that role. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

They brought out complimentary soup while I waited, and the second burger arrived without any toothpick. However, at the end of the night I was shocked that the waitress did not comp the burger despite the serious safety incident. This could have resulted in dental damage, mouth lacerations, or internal bleeding. The restaurant showed zero accountability or genuine concern for my well being. I went for my friend's birthday dinner, and we left completely satisfied with both the food and drinks. FOOD: We started with the prosciutto board, which was good but nothing especially memorable -- more of a classic charcuterie board. For our entrées, we ordered the lobster roll and the shaved ribeye dip, and both were excellent. I highly recommend them. We ended the night with four desserts, and every single one was delicious, especially the banana split. It wasn't your typical banana split sundae -- the caramelized banana gave it a rich, flavorful twist that made it unique and unforgettable. DRINKS: I started with the Rosé Spritz while everyone else ordered different cocktails. After trying mine, we all loved it so much that we ordered the same drink for the second round. It's not overly strong and has a slightly tart flavor, but it ended up being one of my favorite cocktails ever. I'll definitely order it again. Against my better judgment, I even let them know it was my birthday when I made the reservation. We were seated at probably the worst table in the place: Front corner by the elevator and the bathrooms. I know someone has to sit there, but with the reservation and all...? One thing that is *not* mentioned on the website is that they have no liquor or spirits. Only $20 glasses of wine. My wife doesn't drink wine. This would have been terrific to know ahead of time. Food: charcuterie board was nice, but stingy. Grapes were well past being fresh. Other than that, good meat, good cheese. My steak nowhere near justified the price. No crust on the sear, cooked past my desired medium rare. The potato, despite being served with a cute tiny spoon for the crème fraiche, was just a potato. Not worthy of $14. Wife's burger was good, not great. Fries may have been the best part. It's a pretty room, so I understand why all the "influencers" and "content creators" frequent the place. The staff, in general, were aloof and standoffish. We did not feel particularly welcome; more like we were dining in a club we were not technically members of. Though we did see several desert looking items with candles coming out of the kitchen, we didn't get one (despite the note). I only included it because I figured that, as it was my actual birthday, maybe this place did something really special. Guess I'll never know. If this place had been half the price, I might have felt better about it. But if you are going to charge the prices this places charges, the food and the service need to be damn near perfect, and it just wasn't. I don't see a particular reason to go back .
