Where do we begin. Walked in , got our table quickly and then...... Waiting, waiting, waiting... like 10 people were put in a section with no waiter. No coffee. We were informed from another waitress that the waiter was running late. She proceeded to basically do us a favor by helping, but she left and didn't return. Still no coffee. initially a favorite this location has slipped quite a bit lately. this morning for our party of seven, two meals were cold, one was missed and eventually arrived late. the food was brought out by someone other than our serve, she had no idea who ordered what but started setting plates down randomly "because they were hot". i doubt I'll return to this location. read more

Been there a couple of times. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food fantastic. Morning cocktails are a huge plus. Service was great except, from the hostess and host, to the servers wearing their masks under their noses. It was a big disappointment for us. We were told that the wait time to get a table is 20-30 minutes, we got a table 55 minutes later (we wouldn't have waited if we knew), after several tries to get served someone showed up to take our order 20 minutes after we sat, then the food came in and we had to ask three different people including a manager for silverware while the food is getting cold, bad service with a mediocre food, we won't be coming back. read more

Me and Hubby walked in to First Watch for Breakfast this Monday morning November 22, 2021. Abigail was our server; she was not friendly at all and she didn't check on us during the meal. We ordered coffee for our drinks and French Toast with a side order of Hardwood Bacon was ordered as our meals. The coffee was hot and fresh. The French Toast was cooked to order and very tasty. The Hardwood Bacon looked like it was pre-cooked and had been sitting for a while; however, it tasted good. FYI-Breakfast substitutions are not allowed. Example...If you want to substitute/order a Pancake/French toast instead of regular toast and pay an extra charge for it; First Watch does not allow it. read more

Breakfast here today was a real disappointment and they need to get their act in gear with UberEats. How hard is it to check the order ticket before loading up the delivery bag for the driver to take? They forgot my son's order but did remember to include a large, dried-out, and overcooked blueberry pancake. My husband's over easy eggs were overcooked and rubbery. Breakfast tacos were dried out but at least had some decent flavor. My mother in law did enjoy the Club sandwich. We won't bother with a round 2 in the future as there's better options closer to home! read more

Attended the soft opening today. Restaurant was bustling but not overly loud. Server was very friendly. Decor is fresh and "modern farm style". They serve you a pot of coffee when you sit. There will be indoor and patio/outdoor seating when open and warm enough. Extensive menu of healthy options. I ordered the Bacado, an omelet with bacon, avocado and sour cream. Comes with artisan toast and a light field greens salad. It was very good. Pancakes looked good as did the eggs Benedict with salmon. This place is going to be a big hit with long lines. Just work out some of the serving kinks which I'm sure they will. Egg Harbor is going to have lots of competition soon! read more

I really enjoyed this place the first few times I came. The food was great, the environment and live music is always nice. But in my last three times I have been disappointe. Our waitress would be gone for a long time, I would wait a very long time for my drink. I ordered a second drink long before finishing my first and I never received my second drink. They would come over and check on near by tables and I could never get her attention. We needed more tortillas because they give you very few for a very large portion of food that by the time she made it back to our table I just wanted the check. My food got cold and I just wanted to leave. I enjoy ordering the mocajete because in the past the portions were good and a nice shareable entre.It has a lot of meet and they give you four tortillas to split between two people so if you want more you have to ask for extra tortillas but they only give you two more, it doesn't add up to the food you're ordering. The past two times I have ordered the mocajete there's a big significant change in the portion they use to give out. So it seems as business gross they're pulling back on the things that made this place differen. Whold tue ambiance is great the food and service have been very disappointing. While I like to support the live performera in adding to there tip jar, I did not appreciate the server going table to table asking people if they would like to tip the musician. One person was caught off guard and seemed like they felt force to tip. We can see the tip jar. I enjoy the place but I don't know how soon I would actually go back, after so many times of trying to give it another shot. read more

The process they have for the waiting list is horrible! We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and asked for a table for 4. We were told it would be approximately a 45 minute wait. An hour later, I asked how much longer & was told we were 8th in line & that it would be another 30 minutes. I was also informed that people who put their names on the waiting list using the on-line application got priority over those who just walked in & put our names on the list. Apparently if you put your name on the list on-line even after people who walk in put their names on the list.....the on-line list get bumped to the front of the walk-ins. We waited another 30 minutes only to be told we had been moved down from #8 in line to # 13 in line b/c people who used the on-line app got to get in front of us. RIDICULOUS!!! We left and went to another local restaurant and had a great meal with none of this kind of nonsense. read more

Tried the lunch special half soup half sandwich and was seriously let down. Got the ham sandwich which was definitely nothing special and kind of lacking in flavor. I paired it with the tomato soup which tasted like the canned ravioli.... not great. We also tried the watermelon wake up which was about a 5/10 considering the price and that it just tasted like watermelon juice. The veggie burger was about a 7/10 pretty good but not the best veggie burger i've ever had. Belgian waffle was a solid 9/10, but i mean what waffle isn't. Love the food, the waitstaff is generally really nice, I like to try something different every time I go. I love the selection of juices and their coffee is good too. I like that they have an Oat Milk creamer option! My only negative comment is that the staff needs to keep their masks over their mouth and nose. This is one of the friendliest and hospitable staffs I have encountered in a long time. The food was done to perfection. The omelette was soft and yellow without that overdone brown tone that completely changes the flavor and texture. My avocado toast was loaded with fresh mashed avocado. very generous portions. the potatoes and bacon were ordered crisp and came out perfect. Let's start with the pros, the food was amazing, the coffee top notch. The service was abysma. The waitress asked for my coffee order before I sat down, when I asked for easy ice in my juice she quickly said they don't do east ice, it's either ice or no ice. We never got silverware and had to ask for multiple times for napkins. When our food arrived we asked for extra plate from not one but two servers and still didn't receive them until I asked a theirs time at which point had was the women standing by the hostess stand. There was little to zero hospitality, also when we asked for water glasses without a fading, the waitress again said "no, they're all like that...I can bring you plastic cups" and then proceeded to never bring any water back to the table. The waitress also did not check in to see if we needed anything. So the experience was soured by the overall complete lack of good service. read more

Second time visiting and I don't leave reviews but this place is just mediocre as hell. Their fresh juice drinks are great, servers are kind, interior decor/ambiance is nice combined with patio seating and a fairly extensive menu. But that's about it as far as the good goes. Their check-in system doesn't make sense? You check in online (let's you know the wait time), stating you'll receive a text when your table is ready with 15 minutes to claim the table. Except when you check in, you also have to check in again at the front desk, at which point your timer actually starts? What's the point of the online check-in then? The food presentation always looks great and again, their menu has good variety, except both times we've gone we've waited 30-45 minutes for the food alone. I get COVID things are happening and finding workforce is tricky, but is it some weird trick to convince people they'd enjoy the food more if they're waiting forever for it? These weird tactics might work, except the food also comes out COLD, like it's been sitting for some time? Cold might be an overstatement, but hot food is never hot, and cold food has that "I've been chillin' on a counter for 20 mins" feel. Overall, I don't hate it, if you keep your expectations low you'd probably have a good time. read more
