Biscuits & Turkey Sausage Gravy With Eggs

Our group probably looked like crazy people sitting in the parking lot at 6:53 am waiting for them to open but my mom and I had just been picked up from the airport and wanted breakfast haha Obviously, parking was easy and we were greeted and seated right away since we were the first customers of the day. We ordered the breakfast tacos, smoked salmon frittata, and biscuits and gravy. The food came out quickly and the portion sizes were generous. We all enjoyed what we got and highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch!

This review is overdue. I've been to this First Watch more than a handful of times and I have not been disappointed. I have tried different dishes from here and just this past Sunday, I tried the B.E.C. from their Spring menu. It was so good! The sandwich itself and the simple salad that it came with, were very fresh and delicious. Another favorite of mine from here is the smoked salmon frittata. Service is consistently attentive and efficient. The place is neat, the bathrooms are clean, and parking is easy. It gets super busy especially on the weekends so it's a great idea to get there early or be prepared to wait. 'Til next time!

Parking is free and plentiful in the parking lot in front and to the side of the entrance of restaurant at the end of a strip mall. Restaurant was clean and roomy it was pretty empty but still took a bit to be seated. Food was pretty good but eggs over medium were over cooked and eggs poached were very under cooked. Potatoes would have been better had the onions not been burned. Mimosas were served as a glass of orange juice and a little single serve bottle of Prosecco. Prices were average for the area.

I'm here on business and I ordered via Uber Eats. I got the Floridian French Toast, turkey sausage links and scrambled eggs w/cheese. I probably won't do that again. The food arrived very cold and inedible. The brioche bread was very thick and the fruit on top was delicious. While I believe this establishment has excellent quality food, it's probably better to dine in as opposed to delivery.

When I was in the lobby with my boyfriend the lady in front of us recommended the chicken quinoa bowl. Lady, if you're reading this, thank you!!!!! It was really good

The moment you walk in you're greeted by a warm, inviting modern atmosphere. The hostess smiles genuinely, immediately making you feel welcome. I was seated quickly (it was 7ish in the am on a Saturday), and the server arrived soon after, offering coffee with a cheerful demeanor and a sense of urgency that doesn't feel rushed. The menu has a wonderful balance of classic breakfast staples and creative options. They even have Mimosas and a few other specialty adult beverages in o chose from. My server- Jordan- was knowledgeable, offering recommendations that feel personal, not scripted. He listened attentively, and my special request--to substitute the regular bacon with their famous Million Dollar bacon--was met with a positive attitude and reassurance that it's no problem. When the food arrived, it was aesthetically pleasing and hot. The Million Dollar bacon (one of the things that keeps me recommending this chain of restaurants in multiple states) is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The cheese grits- I have to admit that I never order grits from restaurants because I'm a southern girl and most don't get them to my liking - where perfectly textured and flavored. Everything is cooked to perfection, showing care in the kitchen. Throughout the meal, Jordan checked in at just the right moments, refilling drinks and ensuring everything was to my satisfaction. The vibe of the place is relaxed but lively, with a soft background of chatter, music and the occasional sound of clinking coffee cups. The experience wraps up smoothly with the both the hostess and my server- Jordan- promptly offering the check, thanking me warmly, and wishing me a great rest of my day. You can scan the QR code with your mobile phone on the bill and pay right from your seat or pay at the front desk. You leave feeling satisfied--not just with the meal but with the overall experience, excited to come back again. The moment you walk in you're greeted by a warm, inviting modern atmosphere. Great food at an economical price. All the food was very tasty with the potatoes being exceptional. Coffee provided in pot for meal which is most convenient. Service was fast and efficient. Restaurant is very spacious, well lit, and clean. Give it try, you will not be disappointed. Free parking, location is at the end of the strip mall.

The food was great. It would have been nice if they had a vegan option for meat but I was able to substitute fruit instead. Short wait time and the staff were very friendly and attentive. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back again.

There was a little wait when we arrived but it wasn't bad. The hostess was nice which was appreciated. Our server...not so much. Not that she was mean, but she wasn't very attentive and I had to ask multiple times for water. The ambiance was nice and chill, a little loud but nothing out of the ordinary. This was my first time at this location but I have been to others. Now...here's what you came for - the food. We had coffee too and that was just okay. Traditional w/ham: 8/10 this was good and the food was enjoyed. The eggs were like warm and not cooked as asked. The piece of bread was small but other than that, overall it was enjoyed. Farmhouse hash: 6/10 Food was lukewarm, potatoes were still a little hard and it lacked flavor overall. I did like that they offered strawberry jam for the toast.

How much is the dinner buffet?

First Watch is a breakfast, brunch, lunch place that closes at 2 or 2:30 pm. No buffet.

    What's parking like?

Not bad during weekdays or non-holiday weekends. I avoid the plaza in general during Thanksgiving and Christmas

    Can we reserve a table?

They have a "get in line" option. Go to the website just before leaving home and they'll put you on the wait list...

I didn't see any fur babies even with the outdoor seating, so I would say no

My latte was mediocre at best. It wasn't very flavorful, and it wasn't very coffee forward, so I wonder if they use less shots of espresso than is standard or less strong espresso. The thing that bothered me most though was that the barista swirled my drink in front of me, it splashed all over out of the top and sides of the lid, and instead of fixing it or apologizing (or even just acknowledging it!!!!), he proceeded to hand it to me and said "have a great day!" I walked over with my baby in tow and cleaned it up myself. It was SO odd to me. The space is bright, there are plenty of seats, and parking is easy. Such a shame that I didn't like the actual latte more! :/

But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. Close at 10pm but if you need longer later hours a 1am tea shop is about a quarter mile down the road with good options also. Parking lot with plenty of parking. My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again.

We tried several things from this cafe, and everything was phenomenal, but there was one thing that was beyond all the stars, but here's a breakdown of it all: Potato Savory - so basically if you're looking for chaat, this is it. They call it savory, we call it chaat, but in either case, you can tell this isn't something pre-made and slapped into a bowl. The veggies were crunchy, not soggy. The chutney was sharp, but not overwhelming. And all the condiments and veggies and chickpeas together made a cohesive dish, well balanced. Definitely recommend. 8.5/10 Chicken Club Sandwich - this sandwich is....a LOT. In a good way! The pulled chicken is seasoned well. It's massive and there is a lot of flavor in each bite. Dynatime Chicken Flatbread - okay, so we tried this flatbread first, and I thought it was a 10/10, but then I tried the other flatbread and realized this was a definite 11/10! Lacha Melt Chicken - this was great, very akin to a quesadilla with a paratha. Unique concept, yes, but not my favorite thing here. And yet, well seasoned and delicious. 8/10! Add to that the lovely spice powder sprinkled on top of them - they are delicious, melt in your mouth, and in addition to being the perfect accompaniment to the food, they're absolutely great all on their own! 100/10! Definitely recommend this place - the ambience and the service are both absolutely great. As long as the taste of the food remains consistent and this place remains clean and hospitable, this is going to be one of the top notch places in the area.
