This was my second visit to any first watch location, the previous one being in Kissimmee. It was very convenient coming off an early morning flight and finding a place for breakfast before heading to the theme parks. First watch succeeds by making a truly crave Able menu full of high fat and high high sugar entrées. If you were under 40, that's fine. When you get older, you have to be careful lol. We very much enjoyed our breakfast, but not every entrée is a hit, especially the seasonal offerings. My partner remarked that it was the best coffee he had had in a very long time. It's definitely great to keep on rotation, but just remember to count those calories. read more

Cleo was phenomenal. I love Shirley temples but since they didn't have grenadine she suggested the blackberry syrup which was better IMO. My favorite was the French toast which we later ordered another. I love their BLTE to the point I ask everyone to add egg now no matter where we go. Food was Delicious! I recommend just for the food...however the server was rushing us out of there. About 1 min after we received our meals, she drops off the check and tried pushing us out already. We definitely felt rushed. The table next to us asked about drinks, the person asked if their drinks were sweet, the server says they are all sweet and she tell's all of her customers they are sweet. Hey...wait...I ordered a drink and she never told me it was going to be sweet. I am going to butcher the servers name, it just ended in ...Jang, not very professional and smart. We came in for breakfast. Our party ordered: carrot cake & pecan pancake, Trifecta and the Market Hash. The carrot cake pancake was underwhelming. I was expecting the pancake batter to be seasoned with spices but it was just regular batter with shredded carrots and raisins with pecans. 5/10 The hash was a mess. The it was supposed to have bacon, onions and cheese on top of potatoes but it was burnt and all blobbed together. 4/10 The restaurant was clean and the server was kind. This First Watch is huge and has an outdoor patio and an entire bar. I'm not sure if it was a full-bar, but you could grab some seats up there, which is always nice for a quick bite with a pal. I enjoyed the new theming and the staff was definitely on point during this visit. The current Winter seasonal menu is by-far my favorite and I love that the cinnamon chip pancakes are back again. If you visit during the winter season, definitely give them a try...or maybe just get one pancake as an 'appetizer' or 'dessert' - no matter when you eat it, you won't be disappointed. I don't usually leave multiple reviews like this, but I had a redeeming experience today. My mom came to visit and wanted breakfast food so we decided to come here. Service was excellent, and the power wrap was redeeming for the food I'd had here in the past. I will probably stick with that, as it was a tasty and healthy option. This is the third First Watch location I've been to, and it's been just as great as the first two! For a Saturday morning around 10AM, our group of five was sat immediately. I tried one of their seasonal coffees and a mimosa; the seasonal coffee was delicious - but definitely on the sweeter side. For food, I tried their harvest hash - and it was so so good. From the potatoes to the kale to the goat cheese and egg on top - YUM. It was hearty, filling, and so good. My friend and I also shared a plate of the lemon ricotta pancakes - so freaking good. We were staying at a nearby hotel that offered breakfast, but it looked basic. We were on vacation. I wanted an experience. This checked off all of the boxes. The ambiance was great. Our waitress was GREAT (wish I remembered her name... it was 2 weeks ago ‍). She was soo sweet with my girls (my 5 year old and I were wearing our Mickey ears and she was very cutely complimentary with my 5 year old about hers). Really liked this place. Everyone was pretty happy. We were only a little disappointed with the Seoul Hash - overly saucy and creating a confusing sense of taste. Service is quick and good but they do things so they don't need to check up on you - drop a carafe of coffee and carafe of water, but still good service. We had the pancakes, seasonal gingerbread spiced donuts (toffee sauce is yummy), biscuits and gravy (a little too much pepper) and the Bacado omelet with added spinach. Staying in Orlando on a quick self-cation when I found this breakfast and brunch spot close to my Hilton hotel! Recently opened and ready for its first review! The parking lot ample parking space. Upon entrance, I am impressed on how new and beautiful the decor of this restaurant is! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. There is a wonderful bar towards the front entrance with a wide variety of cocktails available! There's also covered exterior seating for those looking to eat outside but still stay covered in case of the unexpected Florida rains! I found that there is plenty of seating in this franchise. The quality of the food isn't bad for a chain restaurant and my coffee was piping hot so that's a big plus. Biscuit and gravy was a letdown though. The biscuit was too flaky and flat with a crunchy texture and the gravy bland. For me, the biggest letdown was the service from the moment we entered the restaurant. The front hostess was not friendly and with plenty of open tables, we waited almost 20 minutes. Our waitress was nice enough but way too slow and noticed she was multitasking like processing to-go orders, tending the bar, etc instead of taking our orders or checking to see if we needed refills. Coffee was strong and hot, when you ordered more than one cup your own personal coffee thermal was left on the table for you. Plenty of options of sugar and creamers if you like that in your coffee. The seating inside the dinning varies as far as comfort. The booth seating were extremely uncomfortable, the rest of the area had these thin wooden chairs as well. The food was smaller portion sizes compared to traditional American portions, which we all enjoyed. The power wrap, prosciutto toast, carne asada hash, chickenchunga were all flavorful. The eggs on the hash were served over hard compared to what was ordered "over medium", and I upgraded my potatoes with the Parmesan cheese sauce and bacon bits. Super impressed with the quality of the food and service at this location. I had this delicious egg sandwich on a brioche bun and it had the perfect amount of avocado, it was divine. I also would recommend the Mint Mocha coffee, I actually got it To Go and it was also delightful, tasted like a melted mint chocolate chip ice cream drink but with coffee! The First Watch at O-Town west is a darn good location with a great design which has lots of good open seating and a great porch/bar for good weather days. Food at First Watch in general is the gold standard in the area for fast-casual breakfast/lunch chains. You can expect slightly iffy or amazing service - it seems like new servers are working there every week and trying to get up to speed - but that's normal for this part of Orlando.
