I've been to this First Watch many times. I have to say this visit was a 5/5. We made reservations on line. It worked perfectly. We had a 30 min wait and therefore we got there about 5 minutes earlier. We were seated right away. Our server was Bru. He took our order ( party of 6) all by memory, including special diets. He was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious. Everything was hot, and made just to order. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. It's clean and we will be back again. Try and make reservations online so you won't have to wait there long.

I've been to other First Watches a few times and I was never really impressed. The ambiance is that of a brunch restaurant, not sure how to describe it. My husband and I met with my girlfriend and her family at this location in Pembroke Pines. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised! The service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bacado which was scrumptious, and my husband ordered the Chocolate Chip Pancakes, which he very much enjoyed. Everyone enjoyed their meals, in fact. I would definitely return to this location!

This was my first time coming here and the restaurant is cute with plenty of seating. My brother and I were seated right away and the staff were friendly. We were offered coffee but it wasn't good since it tasted bitter. So my brother ordered orange juice which was better. We each ordered and omelette with seasoned home fries that comes with toast. I got the Bacado that comes with bacon, avocado and Monterrey jack cheese and sour cream on top. It was good but some of the home fries weren't completely cooked. The toast was good too and the provided a spicy jam that was good. Overall breakfast was good despite some minor issues. I'm glad I got a chance to try this restaurant.

First Watch is always a reliable choice. This location specifically always has good, attentive service. The food also usually comes out relatively quick. On weekends, the place is slammed with a wait. On the weekdays, you can walk right in. I came in on a Wednesday late morning and sat on the patio. We were afraid sitting outside would mean slower service but that was not the case. The chili chorizo omelette was delicious with just the right amount of spice, veggies and sour cream to cool it down. The potatoes were a hardy portion and I enjoyed the pico de gallo on the side which I poured all over the omelet! Even the toast and jelly made me happy. This is a good one if you're looking for breakfast in the area.

This is the only First Watch location that I have ever had issues with. I am sad to report, yet again, they failed to meet expectations. I got the breakfast tacos which are usually a favorite of mine. As you can see from my picture, what I received was a cold, paltry, mess of a meal. The tacos barely had anything in them, and the tortillas were stale. I'm not going to waste my breath any further... a picture is worth a thousand words. A pretty pitiful showing for an otherwise great chain breakfast spot. This location seriously needs new management.

Okay, so I have now been to this brunch spot three times, and finally felt that I have enough info to share my thoughts on it. I feel that it's one of those places that's fairly good overall, with a pleasant ambiance, but that is missing a certain "je ne sais quoi"... my thoughts: Pros: The food portions are good, menu selection is good, prices are good, service is good, taste of the food is good... All "good" which is fine in the grand scheme of things (I'll likely go 1 or 2 more times and update this post). With that said, and on a really positive note, the iced coffees were love-at-first-sip and in my opinion were near-worthy of 5 stars, which I give out pretty sparingly. Cons: The parking/seating/entry process is often chaotic, and has been on each of my visits. The wait time to get in is almost always 20+ mins, so get your name on the online list before actually heading to the restaurant. Also, the potatoes served with the breakfasts aren't crispy, which some may find fantastic but for me is pretty lacklustre. A little odd to me that they also do that pay-at-the-front thing like a small diner although there's no diner feel to the place. Overall: Worth going, generally you will get a good bang for your buck.

Todays visit to First Watch was very underwhelming. The wait was good, we had put our name on the waitlist about 20 minutes prior. The front of the house staff were great and quick to attend us, despite the heavy traffic. The hot coffee was great but the Peppermint Mocha drink was not. It tasted more like mocha milk. When we were ordering the appetizers, we were told there was no bacon cheddar cornbread or brisket hash. The bacon looked like it tossed on the plate and there was not enough syrup in the kitchen. When the appetizers arrived, the food runner didn't say excuse me when placing the plates down, even though I was using the space in the middle, nor did they say enjoy your food. We then ordered our entrees and after 10 minutes were told that the tostadas were not coming because they didn't have the taco shells. The Tri-Ficeta plate was asked for over medium eggs and we got barely cooked, grey looking and extremely runny eggs. As for the biscuits dish, it was great overall but the eggs were not sunny side up, more over medium. As for the waitress, she was nice but seemed to be very pushy, unintentionally, of course. At the beginning of the dining experience, we probably saw her once every 5 minutes and she asked what we wanted to eat or we made a decision yet. Even though there was about 2 hours left for the restaurants closing. There were 2 of us still halfway into the dish and the waitress put the bill on the table. Expedient but definitely not the appropriate time to put the bill on the table. I would still return to this First Watch, as the location is beautiful but would hope that service from the waitress/waiter/food runners gets better.

service was nice, nothing crazy. i liked the rustic details idk is this place a florida brand or just using florida for decor. the chikichanga was good but the potatoes were cold. two of these for me and my mom was like $48

What a nice breakfast we just had! We came to this Firstbwatch location just across the Costco on pines, it's that new plaza next to the post office and are happy to report that this restaurant is very clean, has a lot of tables, not a long wait on a week day ( we were here on a Tuesday morning) and it also has a new menu! That's right- more delicious seasonal choices ! Today I ordered from the new menu the delicious French toast with boysenberries and lemony cream(?) and it was both beautiful to look at and not as sweet as I had feared (upon looking at it) I would say a good level of sweet. We also got the omelette that was very flavorful and came with house potatoes and their delicious thick toast, and some of the traditional over easy egg breakfast that did not disappoint. Overall we had a fun breakfast, service was very cordial And good, the food did not take long to prepare and the plates were looking so good when presented! Yum!! Lots of goodies to be had! Enjoy !

Spring menu had 3 entrees, I went with the Hacienda Hash. It's hearty, spicy, and wholesome. Happy

Don't sit at the bar unless you want to wait 30 minutes for a waiter to take your order. Decent food (my potatoes and egg were way too salty) but this location is severely understaffed at peak times...I won't go again unless the Service gets better. read more

Way to expensive for just breakfast. I say dont take advantage of your customers by charging so much just for eggs and toast. I give two stars for this alone. Eggs are just eggs as well as toast. Very disorganized service. We called an hour ahead for party of 12. The hostess acknowledged and confirmed this reservation. When we got here, the hostess had no knowledge of or plan for sitting our party. Manager was nowhere to be found. Once seated, we found it very difficult to even get coffee cups. I do not recommend coming here with a large party. Hopefully they get their act together soon. read more

Good morning, I can't tell you about the food at the new First Watch in Pembroke Pines, but I can tell you about the service. I am livid! My husband and I walked in and we were seated without incident. As we perused the menu, two people were seated next to us. As soon as they were seated the server walked past us to the two young ladies with her coffee pot in her hand ready to serve. She did not acknowledge our presence at all. Not even a glance, or a "good morning, I will be right with you". She went directly to the young women. This incident is not their fault at all. This is what I call white privilege. You don't have to wait or ask for anything. It just comes. I don't want "extra". I want fair. Can I give a minus rating?? read more

They are always late with deliveries, and the food is ALWAYS cold - regardless of being at the restaurant or delivery. I've ordered multiple items from the menu, and while the flavor is great, and the people that work there are decent, cold food and waiting over 2 hours for an order to be fulfilled with no explanation or notification of issues is complete trash. Currently waiting for a food order that was placed 3 hours ago. The WRONG food finally arrived after 3 hours and 15 minutes, and they close in 12 minutes. No one is answering the phone. read more

Worst service ever. Second time here. Came in this morning at 9:15a with my husband and got seated outside. There were 2 waiters, neither of which acknowledged our presence. When the hostess who sat asked if we'd been served after 15 minutes, I said nope. The waitress comes out and serves people who were seated after us. Just ridiculous!! Never again for breakfast that's not even that great and overpriced. read more

It was amazing we called ahead to reserve a table and when you get there you let them know you are there and you go right in, our waiter was awesome the food was really good we ordered we got our food quickly it was perfect. The food was great! We had omelettes and a Belgian waffle and everything was delicious. The menu had a lot of great options. The place was open and airy and pleasant. The acoustics are a bit loud, especially when the place is packed. The service was good but slow, perhaps due to it being completely full with people waiting. Isnt it crazy that you know which First Watch locations have their act together and which ones dont? Well West Pines First Watch doesn't have their act together. Put my name on the waitlist and it was 120 min wait, that wasn't the problem. When i arrived i was seated after 15 min, took a while for the waitress to come by and introduce herself. Shocker- she didn't even ask for a drink order she immediately left. Finally after 20 min and waving her down she took our drink order and left again. After about 15 min we waved her down again and put in our food order we assumed she would bring our drink order, man we were wrong. Now its been an hour no drinks and no food. When we finally get her attention she brings tje drinks bjt doesn't even apologize. Okay you're busy but the table next to us was seated much after us and a different waiter and they had food and drinks before we did. I got there at 11:30 and left at 2:00, that tells you how my experience was. Before opening your doors make sure your staff is trained including the kitchen. read more

Waited for 20 minutes. Never approached by server. Got up to leave when the customer sitting at the next table commented about lousy service. He said it took 10 minutes to get a napkin.As we got up to leave what appeared to be a staff member seemed to approach but made a quick turn and returned to the rear of the store where 5 or 6 individuals were taliking loudly and laughing. Nice impression. As we left the hostess asked where we were seated so she could get the server but I promptly responded that after this incident the food would be questionable. Went to Casa Romeu where the food and service is constantly 5 star. Spoke to a neighbor that had a similar experience at this location. It's a shame, the place was clean the menu looked great and several people told me that the other stores didn't have these problems. Anyhow I don't think I would try any of their restaurants. Ordered take out because the wait was too long. After hearing so much hype about First Watch I expected amazing food. I was so disappointed. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and they looked great at first glance only to discover they were burned on the other side. The blueberry muffin tops where also burned to the point they were completely black on the bottom. I like my food well done, but it was inedible. The bacon was undercooked and the potatoes were raw / hard. I rarely complain about food, but when every item we ordered had issues there is certainly something very wrong. The hostess who brought our order was nice and professional though. Too bad I didn't notice how bad the food was until we were already home. A complete waste of $40 for breakfast. read more

First time coming here. My mother recommended it for a great brunch. I am visiting from out of town. As soon as I walked in I loved the ambiance and atmosphere. Menu has a great variety and the drink I ordered was very refreshing. Pomegranate sunrise was the name. Food was delicious. Loved the mixed green salad. Eggs Benedict was scrumptious. The only thing that bothered me was that I went to use the ladies room and it was filthy. Will come again. read more

I love this place, and it's vibe. I love eggs so the menu fits perfect. Unfortunately you don't know how to do poached egg. Every time I go I get a well done egg. Learn how to do poached eggs or take it off of the menu. Your menu is more than 50% based on eggs, you should know all the cookings. read more

Awesome! Clean! Yummy! I've eaten at this location twice so far. Definitely coming back again. Great food. Great service! The place is very clean; unless many restaurants in South Florida. It's rare for servers to quickly remove used items off the table. But our server was on top of it. All 4 of us ladies enjoyed it very much. read more

We came there on a Monday around 12:45-1:00 PM and had the worst experience ever. It wasn't busy at most there was 5 tables and our waitress didn't seem to care if our needs were met, she seldomly came to our table if at all. Our food weren't properly cooked all the way through, the outside was burnt while the inside was still undercooked (raw). Biscuits were burnt and we could taste it, pork sausage was undercooked and the waffle we ordered came out undercooked as well. Definitely won't be dining in at this first watch location again. read more

First watch food is usually pretty great but they really need help managing. 30 minute wait for waffles is kind of ridiculous. You're a breakfast place for Christ's sake. 1-2 hour estimated wait time on average is why we typically don't come here often. Moreover...the parking at this shopping center is atrocious right now. read more

I don't know if it's this location but it's so disappointing every time. This last time going, my food was burnt to a crisp, eggs over done (I asked for them over easy), it seems I got the scraps that pile up on the edge of the grill lol, and the service from the cashier was horrible. Super rude, he looked annoyed, rolled his eyes when I asked him a question about a menu item. And towards the end of our encounter he was super passive aggressive. I've had him as a server once and refuse to be waited by him anymore. There's always a wait for everything.
