Came here for casual breakfast since I wanted to go to early movie theater which is really close to here . And let me tell you ; my gosh is this place good, first of all it was packed - which is always a good sign - but everything we had was really amazing . Wife has the avocado toast , which was great , and I had the egg Benedict with brisket which was also phenomenal ; perfectly poached eggs. Also tried the blueberry pancakes which were fluffy and freaking delicious . Service was also A1 , and vibe was also there . Will definitely be back to this gem for sure

This is a small cafe and the place was very packed. It was around 11am, so no surprise. In the same plaza as the Publix, just further down to the right before Lucky Star and Wing Stop. Our server Michele took care of us. The service was fast and attentive, despite the place getting busy. We even had someone else ask if we needed more refill for our coffees. I opted for their refreshing tuna salad sandwich with their yummy artichoke soup (it was their soup of the day -- on a Wednesday.) The cole slaw that came with the sandwich was just ok. Not a fan of having an extra mayo based dish, but maybe because I was already too full. Kind of wanted fries, but next time! My mother enjoyed her blt sandwich and got the small Kristoff's salad, which seemed not so small and plenty leftover. She also went for the coleslaw. I'd definitely come back here for the similar meal and something else!

Kristof's Kafe is a Davie breakfast staple! If you're coming on the weekend it's good to come early because there will be a wait if you come around brunch time. The menu has something for EVERYONE! I've only been here for breakfast, but now that I see a lunch menu that looks good too. But for breakfast I like to get something savory and my boo will get a pancake or waffle and it's always good. Your coffee will stay hot as they have staff making sure to top off your coffee. They have lots of things to look at around and a TV fixated on the food network to watch more cooking while you're waiting. It's a cute spot, and staff is friendly.

This was my second time at Kristof's Kafe and it is now officially my go to breakfast spot. There is something for everyone on the menu along with some really unique breakfast combination. I also really enjoy that. There is a rotating specialty menu that changes every weekend. Today I had the brisket and egg sandwich with hashbrowns and the blueberry cornmeal waffles. To say the least they did not disappoint. Aside from the delicious food there is a cozy ambience and great service. The waitress, Michelle, was very helpful in giving good recommendations because there is so much to choose from. As with any good breakfast spot in South Florida, you can expect a bit of a wait. But Kristof's is worth every minute of it.

When you find a good diner you stick to it, and I plan on sticking to this one! Kristof's Kafe is the perfect "mom and pop" restaurants. My friends and I met up for breakfast and we each had the meals pictured below. As soon as I walked into the restaurant I knew it was going to be good because every table was taken but one. They immediately sat us down and took drink and food orders. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will be returning back soon!

Local family owned and operated restaurant in Davie. We went on a Sunday around 10 and had our name on the list and 10 minutes later we were seated. The menu is unique and if you like Benedict's, biscuits or fancy waffles and pancakes this is the place. The owner is the chef and they run a great operation. Several people were serving us and we were well taken care of. I had the egg white supreme omelette and my partner had the biscuits and gravy. There were many other dishes on the menu I would loved to take a "bite" of if I was allowed. We enjoyed it and will return - with some bigger eaters so we can share some of the goodies. Friendly service and clean.

This is a staple breakfast place. If you like good ole American breakfast food then this is the place for you! Their staff are super friendly and nice. Food is basically what you see. If it sparks your interest, don't hesitate to come! I've been coming here for more than a decade and it's still the same. Pretty consistent and it's always busy here for good reason. Nice breakfast joint.

We came here to meet my wife's relative and she picked this place to meet. It's her favorite and wanted to share the goodness. We had coffee and tea for starters and for my meal I had the eggs Benedict for which they have like 5 versions of. It came with hash browns . Wife had a bowl of chicken noodle soup and she enjoyed it. They make all their foods and soups on site. Our waitress was great and did a great job. The restaurant was pretty crowded for a brunch crowd. Everything was great and a nice experience . Would come back again .

Oh my, this was country fried steak with sausage biscuit.

I have been here so many times, I have no idea why not reviewed yet! Expect a nice long wait. I usually go around 1. Somehow better than 30 minutes. Give your name, have not waited more than 15! Well worth it. Went with a group who ordered lots of variety!

We have a NEW favorite brunch spot! Kristof's Kafe has great food, terrific service, and a nice, busy vibe with lots of people coming and going. The Corned Beef Hash was among the BEST I've ever eaten. My Bacon Bloody Mary was just delicious! My wife loved her Avocado with Yoke Smash sandwich. The prices were very reasonable. We will be back often!!!!

I was very impressed by how quickly we were sat and given food, considering they were extremely busy on a Sunday. Everything came out great and the chicken and waffles had a spicy syrup that was amazing. Normally places in a plaza are a little hit or miss, but I could tell when I walked in and it was that crowded it must have been for a reason. The ambiance is pretty much what you would expect. Definitely would recommend! Especially if you're tired of eating at the generic places like IHOP and Dennys. About the same price range but the quality is superior!

5 STAR BREAKFAST SPOT... My brother calls me today and asks me to breakfast at Kristof's Kafe, which of course I accepted his invitation for food. The restaurant is in the Pine Island Shopping Plaza and I have never tried this eatery. I got there early on Sunday morning and they had one table available inside. They also wont sit you until all parties are present. Well my brother was parking so the host was hesitant to seat me but I pointed to his car pulling in. Now at my two seater table, which is tightly positioned next to another table. Behind me was a small counter with a television affixed to the wall. The waitress was friendly. We ordered the omelete with potatoes and bisquit insanely well priced at $10.00. The food arrived in less than ten minutes. The omelete was perfectly cooked and I put maple syrup on my bisquit which was fluffy and delish. They do add 2.5% to your bill for credit card use which is getting common. The bathroom had a cool golf theme and was very clean. As we left, the line outside was fifteen people deep. Good food at a great price no wonder why its a busy place.

Ally's comfort Café has been a staple in Northwest Davie forever. *Now, Ally, moved away a little while ago and new owners took over. They kept the same recipes which made us hopeful that things would pretty much remain the same. But little by little all of the staff that had been there for years started leaving. I think there's only a couple of the longtime staff left. We'll get back to the staff in a moment. My wife and I go to Ally's every Saturday morning. We go there have a great breakfast and then go to the Publix next-door to do our weekly shopping. There's obviously going to be hiccups when new owners take over a restaurant. We totally understand this. But some things are just not improving. They open at 8 AM on Saturdays. But, between 8 and 9 AM there's only one waitress and one bus boy this didn't always used to be the case. They used to have the full staff and someone at the door to take names. He would also help out by getting you drinks or more coffee if you needed it. It worked really well for the small family restaurant. The new owners took over and at some point they decided they only needed limited staff between 8 and 9 AM on Saturdays. And of course, every Saturday my wife and I go in there. It gets packed and the waitress is running around like her head is cut off and the busboy is overwhelmed. This isn't a one time thing it has been constant since they made the staffing change. It's completely unfair to the waitress and busboy and it's also a complete turn off to patrons who have to wait sometimes up to 10 or 15 minutes just for the poor waitress to come and take their order this morning. A couple waited 20 minutes before their order was taken. Also, the owner/manager doesn't get there until almost 9 herself, which means there's no management in the restaurant to help with the register or put out "fires." It. Is. Not. Working. Ally's has been known for their specials for years. They always have amazing special pancakes and special French toast. It's one of the main reasons we still go there. It's our little weekly treat. Lately the specials have been very monotonous. Some sort of jelly put on some French toast or some sort of cream put on a pancake. Not real imaginative for instance, today was banana cream and chocolate pancakes. It was a dollop of banana cream on a chocolate pancake that had little taste. One could've added some fresh bananas, or maybe some whipped cream on top of that. Meanwhile, the special pancakes and special French toast are often made wrong by the staff. This happened this morning. It took them twice to get the pancakes right and three times to get the French toast, right. Again, this is not a one time occur occurrence. We never complain. But we were surprised to still see those items on the bill and not discounted at all, but that's OK. The thing that really drove me to write this review, is that I waited for more than 10 minutes to speak to the owner/manager on our way out. I thought the best way to handle our dissatisfaction would be to speak to her personally. She disappeared into the kitchen, and even after the waitress went to tell her we were waiting to speak with her, she was nowhere to be found. No I understand things come up in the kitchen, but she could've at least came out and said hey I know you're here, I'm dealing with a problem, I'll be right back. But we waited and waited and waited and nothing despite all of the above, that's what irked me the most. I will say this. The food is still very good. And the waitresses and buses are amazing. None of this is their fault. They should all be paid more in dealing with a kitchen that can't get right and an owner that can't seem to figure out good customer service. We will certainly give them another chance, it's part of our routine. But after biting my tongue, I had to let everyone know what was happening at one of our favorite spots in Broward County.
