I like first watch. You get what you pay for and always happy when leaving. As for this place, it was my first 'first watch' here in Pensacola. I usually go to my local FW so I have something to compare to. Classic Egg Benedict was good except they popped the egg York. I could have return it but I didn't want to start my day with complaints. Biscuit with gravy is one of my favorite menu item and it gravy taste the same but tue biscuits were not. I felt it was little undone. Again I didn't want to start my day with the complaints. My first visit to this location a few weeks ago was sooo good that I was looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Three of us ordered at the same time, and I ordered a sandwich on gluten free toast. The sandwich arrived (and was brought by someone other than our waiter) on cold, dry, gluten free bread. We couldn't find our waiter so I ate it as a salad. My mother and I got our food at the same time, but my dad had to wait about 10-15 minutes. We also couldn't locate our waiter to get my mom a drink refill. When he finally showed up, he shrugged when I mentioned the bread not being toasted and he sent somebody else to bring my mom a drink refill. He just didn't seem like he could be bothered. When I went to pay, the cashier didn't know how to ring up a gift card for the person in front of me so another woman and I ended up standing for another 10 or 15 minutes just waiting to pay our bill so we could leave. The whole experience just seemed chaotic, even though the restaurant was nowhere near capacity when we arrived. read more

It took 45 minutes to get our food. The children's chocolate pancake was hot, but the bacon was cold. The chicken avocado chopped salad had one sliver of avocado, the crab avocado toast was okay, but the eggs were warm at best. The quinoa bowl was okay. Ordered the eggs over medium and they were over hard. When I said something to the server about the long wait time for food, her response was "yeah, some of my other tables were mad too." The butterfly pea drink is amazing! I just had to get it as that little flower grows native everywhere around here! I tried the roast beef sandwich and the veggie sandwich and they were both just heavenly! I remember the roast beef came with a horseradish sauce I believe that might be slightly strong for a lot of folks around here, but I enjoyed the different flavor! If you're not used to horse radish you may want to get it on the side. I tried the beet juice drink as well-it was definitely different for one who isn't used to beet juice, but I'm warming up to it! Definitely a good way to test the earthy tasting beet juice waters! The environment is very nice and open with a classy feel. The prices were a little high, but I would go back in a heart beat. I've had quite a few things on their menu & some stuff is no longer on their menu now. Let me tell you what I have tried. For starters, I've had the million dollar bacon, which is delicious. Nothing is better than bacon, right? Wrong. What's better than the bacon is their Holey Donuts. The donuts come with a chocolate sauce & berry compote for dipping. Those two things are considered seasonal so you might not see them on the menu. Another seasonal item I've had is the Carnitas Burrito & it is amazing. It's filled with flavor & all the flavors are in sync. If you see it, then get it! I've tried their Eggs Benedict which they put on french bread & I didn't see it last time so they may have removed it. Good for them because not the best thing to eat. The elevated egg sandwich is so so. There was something on it that I wasnt a fan of. Last time I was here, I ordered the works omelette. It was bigger than I expected but it tasted wonderful. Everything seems to be fresh & that says alot about the food. If you like juices, then I recommend going for the Morning Meditation over the Kale Tonic. Also, their iced coffee is one of the best I've had in town. Just a heads up, it gets extremely busy on Sundays so make a reservation & the service is not great. They also have refresher drinks, Iike watermelon wake up that you can add a booster powder of vitamins for additional 99c. Servings are good size and reasonable for the price. Pancakes are definitely huge and yum. Coffee is yum either regular or iced flavored. Lots of choices to eat. For regular coffee orders, they will leave the coffee pot at your table, and a small pitcher of water, a smart way to do, so you don't have to flag someone for a coffee refill or water. When you're done dining they will hand your receipts and have to pay at the front, it works but causes people traffic on a busy day. Same area for people waiting for a sit, getting in to dine, and check out cashier to leave. New people in town or locals this place is worth a try.
