Really loved our first time breakfast experience here. The crab omelette was delicious. We also had the works omelette and the water melon mint juice summer drink which was amaze. I really loved coming here, however the past few times I have been here some how I have eneded up with DIANE as a server. This has happened multiple times and I am starting to believe she must have been my enemy in a past life, who is currently haunting me in the form of a waffle carrying waitress in this life. I am all for freindly talkative servers but DIANE talks so much she never listens to the order or what you are asking. Everytime I have had her my order has comeout incorrect or missing something (multiple visits). DIANE who finds it appropriate to stand and talk at your table for minutes on end while taking the order never seems to return to check on the table until it's time for dropping off the check. I loved the atmosphere, however, the food was ok. I ordered egg sandwich and orange juice. I was disappointed especially after I tasted their "100% cold squeezed orange juice". It tasted exactly like orange juice from Simply or Tropicana. I drank freshly squeezed orange juice many times and I know how they taste like. It is perfectly okay for them to serve commercial orange juice. However, the menu should be clearer. Their wordings are misleading and can make customers think the juices are freshly squeezed. In addition, their cups smelled like Clorox. I first thought the smell was from the water (tap water?), however, I smelled it again when I drank orange juice. It wasn't pleasant. read more

After 45 min passed I checked how much longer and was told 30-45 min again. The hostess tried telling me it's because on the online check ins. My husband & I are never disappointed when we go to First Watch. We usually go to the Sunrise location because it is near to our home. It is usually busy, so be prepared to wait if you do not come early. It is worth the wait because the food is not only tastes delicious it looks amazing. The service is first rate from start to finish. My only criticism is when I put my name in on the app, it got lost in the many names already on the list. What is the point of joining the waitlist on the app that specifically states "skip the in-restaurant wait" when you arrive an hour after as quoted and are told it'll be another hour because me putting my name on the app is skipping the people who came in to the restaurant and put their names down. Makes absolutely no sense and have never experienced this at any of the other First Watch locations. Manager was of absolutely no help as she stated the same thing. We came to this location after not being able to get in the list, or get through to the Dania location. We were seated immediately and our food came out quick too. I had the lemon ricotta pancake with over medium egg and bacon. The plate was huge and I had to take a box to go. Both my daughter and I ordered Bacon that came out crisp and dry so in the future i know to tell them not to overcook it. My daughters waffle was huge and delicious!We ordered an addition order of the Million Dollar Bacon and it was just ok. I thought it would be thick pieces of savory bacon, but it was just regular sized bacon Smothered in syrupy spices. I plan on going back to try the pork belly Asian bowl. Very close to 5 stars, this is the perfect florida breakfast place. Busy, energetic, great food that takes advantage of local fruits and veggies. Went there virtually every morning of a weeklong vacation. Young, good looking crowd mixed with older locals. Very clean and runs like clockwork, with someone to greet, someone to seat you, someone to get your order, another to handle drinks, and several hyperactive line cooks in the (visibly spotless) kitchen. Even so, you may have a wait on a saturday morning. I tried a bunch of dishes including the waffle, the million dollar bacon, the oatmeal, the granola bowl, an egg and hashbrown skillet, and the biscuits and gravy. Mom had avocado toast and loved it. I loved the granola bowl full of fresh fruit and sweet yogurt. Also those biscuits and gravy, which has a country gravy that is better than usual creamy white mess you get at other places. The OJ tastes great, as you'd expect of course. There's weird health drinks on offer, mom tried the green kale thing... to be honest it tasted like lawn clippings but apparently lots of people like it, we see it all the time. My only negatives were the occasional wait (once over 25 minutes), a dish where the eggs seemed kind of rubbery or overcooked (but another egg dish later was fine), and a minor screwup where they brought us the check before the food for some reason. My waitress, France, was so sweet and brought us complimentary toast as a started because she saw how hungry we were after long workout! Yikes all around. This was a terrible dining experience from start to finish. We arrived for a late lunch, probably around 1:45. We were sat promptly but waiting at our table to be greeted for quite a while. Once she finally arrived she took our order I ordered the BLT Benedict but asked her I only wanted this dish if I could request crispy bacon. If it wasn't possible I would just order something else no worries, but I don't like limp, chewy bacon (I guess some people do?) my friend ordered the cinnamon chip pancake. After a while she brought out my friend's pancake and then just walked away. She didn't acknowledge me or the fact she didn't have my food. And she came back to bring her syrup and STILL didn't say anything to me. After I few minutes I got up and went to find her. I asked her if my food was coming out soon (literally bacon, egg, tomato, avocado on toast) and she was like yes honey it's coming out soon. And that really only pissed me off more so I asked her why she didn't say anything to me about my food or give any indication to me that they were working on it and she said "because it's coming out". By then my friend had her pancake for about 10 minutes. About a minute after I got back to the table she miraculously brought my food - with limp bacon and a very hard yolk in a poached egg. Gross. I took it off and ate the rest until she came back and I asked her if I could get crispy bacon and she said " oh you want it more cooked than that?" She eventually brought me mostly crispy bacon after I finished my meal and then we paid and left. I have a First Watch near me at home in NC and I love it but this was terrible. read more

Visited the plantation location this morning and I will NEVER go back. My party (of four) arrived and we sat at the table for over 10 minutes before the server greeted us. We we're immediately ready to order. I asked to have my young daughter's breakfast brought out as soon as possible and it never was. Our food took OVER 40 minutes to come out. Everyone was starving at this point. The table next to us who sat after us (party of 5) got their food and we're completely done eating/left before our food arrived. We were given both a very dirty mug and a very dirty knife. Gross. When our food finally arrived it was missing things. Pancake came with no syrup, no toast which comes as the side. Missing condiments. If it took this long I would expect the order to be complete. I spoke with the manager and he listened and said sorry and moved along. No resolution or explanation. The food was good but the experience was awful. Dirty dishes is not acceptable and neither is 40 mins for food when others who arrived after you are getting their plates. For these reasons I would recommend going elsewhere for a happy breakfast experience. read more

A friend of mine wanted to get breakfast today and I asked him if he had ever been to a First Watch. He said No. let me tell ya... this place blew him away so much so he couldn't stop thanking me. Onto the food portion. They fresh squeezed their orange juice. I usually go for the Smoked Salmon Benedict but today I split the Chikichanga (finger licking good) and chose the Hacienda Hash which was on the specials board. I also got the multigrain banana pancake. It's HUGE so if you were to get more than one I would split it. Highly recommend going here if you're feeling like having breakfast out. read more

The only bad thing is they usually always have a wait! That being said it's for a reason. The food is delicious. I didn't take pictures because I was so hungry I couldn't wait! I had the healthy turkey breakfast and my partner had the breakfast power bowl. This place is delicious. I want to go back to try the Mexican street corn hash. It's on their summer menu. Which by the way how fun that they have a special menu for the summer. The food was delicious is fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I also ordered the cold brew coffee which was good but honestly not worth 3.99. The glass was small in my option. But if I money is not an issue for you then you probably won't care ahaha! This was my 2nd time visiting. Both times were great. I had the quinoa power bowl, I think it's called, the 1st time. This time I tried the Floridian French toast. It wasn't bad at but the picture looks better. I tried the morning meditation handcrafted drink the 1st time and it was pleasant. This time I wanted to try the blue booster but they didn't have anymore. Shame. I opted for the kale tonic instead... it was great. Better then I thought it would be. I had my 6 year old son with me. He ordered the chocolate chip pancake. I gotta stress that it was from the kids menu because it was huge. I personally don't think they have true kids sizes... they just decrease portion sizes from the regular menu. For example, on the regular menu you get 2 same size pancakes but the kids only get 1. No complaints, just an observation. Regardless, he loved it and that was enough for me. The ambience is definitely "farm to table-esque". Chalkboard announcing menu options, pictures that say "farm" in them, etc. The food is good and reasonably priced which is a relief. All these new places popping up everywhere with the same menu options and mediocre food as lesser restaurants seem to be charging an "ambiance fee". I guess south Florida is the go to place for that but it's getting old. There's only so many ways you can make a pancake to the point where you have to hire a creative director to design them. So we added our name on the list to eat. Get there it's still 45minutes wait. So we like ok we will wait This guy comes ask to speak to one of the waitresses . She the blonde with the big FEATHER TATTOO ON HER RIGHT ARM and piercings. The guy name is (Mike). This blonde girl she comes out speak to the guy and tell him don't worry you don't have to wait long. Than she proceeded to go to the hosted grab the tables to add their in by deleting someone else's reservation. Than the same guy is join by 2 other people they ask him how long is the wait he said don't worry my girl is handling it. Remind you now a lot of people waiting it's raining out that's not fair. She comes and tell us we can't order food to go while waiting also for a table trying to delete my reservation. As someone who's normally drawn to organic and healthy food I've been waiting for first watch to open since I've seen the sign go up. Unfortunately , what followed was the worst dining experience of my life. Before opening they had an invitation only event open to many in the area - I was given an invitation as I live in a community that partnered with them (many from my community had already taken advantage of the invitation only donation only brunch before me) so I decided to give it a try I was greeted rudely before I even asked to be seated and informed rudely by owner that the opening wasn't until the following day. A waitress held the door open waiting for me to leave from the beginning to the end of this encounter. I was polite and told them of the invitation, they again rudely mentioned something about no official opening until tomorrow and ushered me out the door while other diners were seated fast and enjoyed their meal . I would highly highly NOT recommend this place . A place with such horrible customer service and rude owner staff waitresses before opening day????? They are not getting a single penny of my hard earned money! I found this to be a very pretentious establishment and very rude and unwelcoming , I will never be returning and I discourage others from coming to this subpar restaurant I would give them a negative star rating if I could , sure this place won't run for long because of their horrible way to treat people. read more

It's a great breakfast spot with numerous choices. The waitress was absolutely fantastic and did everything to accommodate us. The food was good but how can you mess up an egg?? We ordered their egg sandwich and avocado toast and we both had coffee. I wouldn't rate the food a 5 star but I'd never consider it a 3 either. 30.00 for breakfast is a little much and I honestly don't know what all the hype is about.
