Ham & Gruyere Melt and Sweet Honey Pecan Salad
    Brianna J.

We love First Watch and usually end up stopping by monthly. I've primarily stuck with ordering breakfast foods but recently started trying some of the lunch options. While I LOVED the Ham and Gruyère melt, it was nicely toasted but cold :(. It wasn't warm, like at all. The flavor was still amazing though so I ate it as is. The salad was also surprisingly flavorful! I was able to save half for a leftover lunch and can't wait to order it again sometime. I needed a to-go cup to and had to go track one down from the host stand while waiting a long time for our food. My child got the kids half waffle. I always wish it was a full size waffle since they love to order the waffle but usually get hungry shortly after since it's half and it comes with the teeny condiment size fruit cup unlike some other kids menu items. Usually even the teeny cup is filled quite a bit but today it was 3 pineapple pieces and one grape . The bacon was really soft and not crispy so it wasn't eaten. The drink came without a straw, so I had to go get one from the host stand since our server didn't stop back by until the food was brought out and I didn't have any luck getting their attention before then. The most annoying part today was being a charged a new "packaging supplies" fee on a to-go order for another family member. I know it's only $.50 but to me, that's the cost of doing food business and wasn't disclosed before ordering. Today's whole experience would have been rated even lower, especially compared to my other visits if it hadn't been lifted up by how great my meal tasted and the fact that we usually love to come here. Hoping next time is better - and now we won't order to-go meals any more.

    Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos

In for breakfast and some coffee - like they they leave you a pot of coffee for your refills - farm tacos were yummy and filling. Located in Nocatee area plaza plenty of parking. Lots of tables and promptly seated and drink order taken. Good spot for meeting and having breakfast over good conversation.

Sadly Wednesday 4/29 at First Watch was a deal breaker for me. Arrived about 1pm. Waited nearly 4-5 minutes while people were checkout and no one to seat me on a lunch break. No problem ordered after about another 7 minutes. Place seemed disorganized and to who was my actual server. In my order I asked for a side of "extra crispy snap in half bacon". It took nearly 12-15 minutes for food. My bacon, limp and flimsy. I went inside today because when I order pick up regardless if I Check the crispy box - it never is. Worst of all it took me flagging down a server and when they asked to get me crispy bacon the cook went off. You could hear him mouthing off all the way across I was seated at window by outside tables. I finished my meal. Bacon never came. I waited to get bill. I had to stand up to get someone's attention. I asked her to take off bacon. Further yelling by cook ensued. I went to the register to pay. The gal brought the bacon to go. I opened it. Smashed crushed like the cook threw and picked up off the floor. I thought I'll grab the card and let the manager know. Sadly I left a voicemail and text with a picture of the bacon. Over a week and no return call. Clearly they don't need the business.

Our go-to brunch spot! The menu has lots to choose from and they always offer seasonal specials if you're wanting something different. We arrived closer to closing time than usual but were greeted warmly by the hostess who told us we'd arrived at the perfect time for a quiet meal. Harry, our server, was very attentive. Our food was all delicious. And our meal was, indeed, the quiet which was a welcome reprieve from recent meals in loud, busy restaurants.

Food was fabulous as always Server wasn't very friendly no a good morning or anything barely spoke to us at all. Felt like Paola didn't want us there. Understand it can be busy but we are paying customers.

    Carne Asada Hash

A go-to for breakfast. Great food options and nice and friendly staff. Ordered the carne asada hash with over easy eggs and it was super tasty and flavorful. It came with two tortillas. Added some hot sauce and it was even better! Clean and well lighted (lots of windows and natural light). Went around 8:30am on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy.

The service is good here, the staff is friendly. They have a great reclaimed wood mural that's a nice touch. Lighting is better than most locations. We love the ability to be preferred guests through the app. It greatly cuts down wait times and helps you feel special. This is the location closest to our parent's house, so we frequent this one. We will definitely be back. Good food, great service. Welcome staff.

The food service is quite pleasant and enjoyable. Shrimp and Grits are on the Summer menu and the dish is packed with flavor! Sausages, waffles and eggs are a delicious breakfast served on a king-size platter. The coffee is endless and tastes fresh brewed. This is a delightful midweek break. You should try it!

    Sangria

We were looking for some mimosas and I know I like the location in my hometown so the boyfriend and I decided to pay a visit. Service was fast but still exceedingly friendly! We ended up not even getting mimosas and instead split a pitcher of bramble berry sangria which was de-liscious! I decided to get the trifecta with the waffle. The berry compote was my favorite thing I had The boyfriend had the Chickichanga which he said he looks forward to having every single time he comes back!

Based upon my review, Jennifer from First Watch reached out to me via Yelp. I contacted her and she was very kind and wanted to send me a gift card to help make up for the shortcomings of our visit. I received a fun card, with a heartfelt message inside and a gift card to use at a future visit! Thank you Jennifer for using this situation as a learning experience for your team members and for solidifying that I am a customer for life!! I love that your restaurant truly cares about a guest's experience.

I know the Chai will be awesome! Kinder Kafe is very slow pace and it is great to see them take there time to make what you want. In between customers, the owners were cleaning the tables. The owner finally walked in no greeting as well. It was about 15 minutes and no Chai Latte yet. I definitely going to be late for work. I was not in a rush but I waited patiently for my latte. After 20 minutes, the cashier alerted me that she was finally starting my order. My Chai latte was warm and soothing. My apple pastry was heated which was a cute touch for the wait. We stopped here, at this location, late one night with some friends and it was so nice to find a place that served food and drinks later in the evening. Service was a little slow but in fairness there were only 3 or 4 front of house staff working that evening including the bartender. Now, this location has a slightly different menu than the one in Savannah but still has a few of their popular dishes such as the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, PB&J Wings, and Treylor Park Pot Pie! I always order the Treylor Park Nachos... it's a massive tray of waffle fries plus a healthy amount of toppings such as pickles, fried chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese with chive ranch & balsamic gastrique. I mean it's a meal of WAFFLE FRIES with enough for myself, to share, and leftovers for when I get home from the drive there! LOL! The Treylor Park Pot Pie is really good too. It's basically chicken pot pie filling in a fried burrito with some pico de gallo on top. My friends ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes... which she loved and was a first for me. Verdict: I liked them. This location is pretty good but it's still not quite as good as the original location; however, I would still recommend giving this place a try.
