My new favorite at First Watch, although, just like an authentic Cuban sandwich, prepare for the roof of your mouth to be demolished after finishing this deliciousness. Disappointing today. First Watch has been my restaurant to go to for a healthy, dependable, meal to satisfy everyone in the family. I have been to First Watch several times in Orlando and South Florida and always been very happy with the meal. This time was the exception, the eggs did not look good, they were overcooked and not fluffy as usual in the traditional breakfast. The potatoes had quite a bit of oil in them and the bread was slathered with butter. My husband and I took advantage of a beautiful day and rode our bikes to First Watch for lunch. We were seated outside and waited (and kind of waited) to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, we waited so long that we almost got up and left to eat elsewhere. Maybe our waiter, Harrison, wasn't notified that he had a new table, or perhaps he was just very busy. That said, I always appreciate being acknowledged, even if the wait staff simply rushes by and says, "I see you. Welcome and I'll be with you as soon as I can." Anyway, once Harrison introduced himself the longer than normal wait was forgotten. He was attentive and informative without lurking. We had some questions (I have an allergy) and Harrison answered them all very clearly. I ordered the Avocado Toast with 2 eggs and my husband had the Tri Fecta -- 2 eggs, bacon (yummy and crisp) and a Belgian Waffle with warm maple syrup. Both meals were delicious! I am very, very glad we hung around. My husband also ordered coffee, which he tells me was amazing! We both had mimosas and a glass of water. Note: When Harrison brought us our meal, the jam, ever so slightly spilled over "near the eggs." He kindly offered to bring new eggs--which we declined. No biggie! But the offer was appreciated. One of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch! It's so nice to have a restaurant where we can eat clean and healthy food, or splurge a little. For the healthier side, I like the pesto chicken quinoa power bowl, market veggie sandwich, or avocado toast. If I'm looking to indulge gimme that chickichanga and a mimosa please! So good. The kale tonic is so delicious and good for you, it'll make you feel like you need to wear a tiara with your yoga pants because, honey, you are now fabulous AND healthy. What is not to like? This area is buzzing with new businesses and just keeps growing bigger! First Watch is a wonderful addition to the area. We were able to go in for the soft opening today and enjoyed breakfast on their dime. Today's specials were Cinnamon Chip Pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon (my choices) and a Carnitas Burrito- breakfast burrito. John ordered from the traditional menu- the Trifecta- eggs, bacon and your choice of pancake or Belgium waffle (John went waffle). The boys had coffee and I had hot tea and the training manager reminded our server in training to ask if we were interested in any of their juice blends! So we tried something out of our comfort zone! Eddie and I went for Morning Meditation with OJ with beet juice, lemon, turmeric, ginger & agave nectar. The beets were a very strong flavor. Very strong. John tried the Red Medicine- which had cranberry juice, cinnamon and other good stuff that I failed to note- his drink was a little easier on the taste buds. My pancake was superb and enormous! Hanging off the plate amazing! Eggs and bacon were delicious too. Eddie inhaled his burrito and said it was a solid 9 on a scale of one to ten. John was bragging about how good the eggs were before I had my first bite and loved his waffle with the fruit compote (and he's not a huge fruity person). Service was great- they are still brand new and training, so keep that in mind for this new business. I loved the light airy vibe of this layout! With a big patio for outdoor dining and plenty of windows to let in the natural light~ it's a good way to start your day! If i had to choose inly one meal to eat the rest of my life it would be brunch hands down. Bring on all things morning! First watch gets it and they do it right! Healthy options and guilty pleasures, the menu is expansive but not overwhelming. Modern decor with a relaxing but exciting atmosphere. Ive visited this location a handful of times now and there are two things consistent. One- the food is always amazing! Two- you're gonna wait for it. Like a long wait. Love love love this place. I love it so much, I have been back two days in a row. Let me start by saying that I love breakfast and having a place that serves breakfast and super delicious juices... well they are top on my list, paired with the fact they are 5 mins away from my house, well that it's cherry on top. Now onto the place, brand new, the staff is super friendly and very attentive, several people stopped by to ensure you are taken care of and nothing is missing! As is a new restaurant, the place is spotless. I visited on Thursday at 11am and they had no wait for the patio, which is really nice. Today, they had a short wait for the patio and since I am starving I decided to seat in the dining room, where there was no wait and it's 1pm on a Friday! The food both days has been outstanding, items well prepared and tasty. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, super yummy and not soggy at all. Eggs were prepared as ordered, the kale tonic is delicious as well as their morning meditation drink. I came here with family as my last day in Jacksonville and were seated by 11 am, we choose the outdoor patio, we sat down as a family of 5, we waited a bit to be attended and my brother in law went to find a waiter, Austin came to our table to apologize as our assigned waitress was occupied and is taking longer than usual. We ordered food and Austin sincerely apologized as the kitchen staff had a delay, we appreciated his service and he provided us some English muffins as we have 2 children at the table and some hangry adults. Austin tended to us and was prompt in providing us with our food as soon as it was ready. The negative review is from the wait to be seated. When you arrive at 1 pm with no one waiting and 15 tables open, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to be seated. The logic from the manager is they are trying to let the kitchen catch up. Just a thought, seat the customer and at least take their coffee order. We payed 50 dollars for two sandwiches and some bread and grapes this is ridiculous the manager could've at least taken off one sandwich but he didn't but the waitress Morgan was so nice the sandwiches were so small one slice of tomato light bacon and the manager didn't seem to care when we brought the problem to him and just the sandwiches alone were almost 14 dollars each. Visited on what appeared to be a busy Sunday morning (though lots of tables were empty inside and out). Ordered seasonal fruit and the salmon frittata, and grits, bacon and eggs, which came with a biscuit . Our server was delightful - friendly and welcoming and checking in frequently, no complaints there - but the food was disappointing. The frittata was overcooked which made it dry, the smoked salmon was very salty, the biscuit was also dry, and the seasonal fruit was pineapple, melon, and grapes. That's not really seasonal. Blueberries, strawberries, and such might have been a better choice. I've been to First Watch before, on multiple occasions, but a different location, so I presumed that the food quality would be similar at this location. I was wrong. Then, the food takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half to come out. Much needed breakfast / brunch / lunch spot in Nocatee! Very clean place with excellent staff and a very good menu. My advice is to get there before 9:30 or so if you don't want to wait for a table. I only put one star because I had to. Today my family and I had easily one of the most jaw dropping experiences at a restaurant ever. To start, if you are coming to this FW location, please make sure to check in from the app, as the wait will be 30 minutes on top of that quoted time. But that is not why I rated this one star. We had Graham as our server, and to be blunt, I have no idea how he is in the service industry. We started by ordering the Million Dollar Bacon and some of the Doughnuts, which came well after the main course items. I had the "Elevated Egg Sandwich" to which I have included a picture below of how it came out. The description of that menu item is "Bacon and an Over Easy Egg, topped with Avocado Smash, a Lemon dressed arugula salad, and cheese". The Egg on this sandwich was beyond Over Hard, and you only get one leaf of arugula??? Graham never came to check on our table about the quality of the food or anything, but when we approached him about it while dropping the check off, he was quite combative about it, strongly claiming "If you had just told me when I check on you the first time, I would have had it remade" (again, he never came the "first time"). He then said, "Ive been dealing with this stuff all day", and "I have been just handing out 20 dollar gift cards for this to almost every table". But this is the best part. He also said "I would bring a manager over here, but to be honest they are absolutely no help at all". Who says that about their management to a customer??? We have given this first watch 5 attempts to give a quality experience, and they have yet to get it right. I think it is now beyond being a fluke for poor service, but the norm. With the abundance of other restaurants in the area like Beach Diner, Grumpy's and Canopy Road, just avoid this First Watch if you want a good experience. read more

What is the point of advertising a "get in line" option when it clearly doesn't work? We wanted to go out to breakfast today and one of the perks of deciding on First Watch in Nocatee was the fact that you can sign up online to wait in line. This is a great feature that makes it easier to manage waiting (especially with children). So we go to use the feature and it tells us no wait, come in! We get there and it's a 40 minute wait time. This is the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant to date. Hostess told us 20 minutes, but it was an hour. This wasn't not due to the volume of customers but the lack of urgency from the staff to clean and seat people. Each meal came out between 5-10 minutes of each other. Ordered a burrito and although it was good, it was almost as if they made the burrito in sections because each bit only had one ingredient. I've been to this chain in 3 different cities in the country and this one by far made me never want to visit this chain again. Not only did the staff not care about their lackluster service, but 2 hours before closing time our server was asking when they could get cut right in front of us? Will not return and will not recommend. Do not come hungry cause you'll be waiting 2 hours before you're seated and served during non busy hours. Great place to bring your worst enemy. read more

Made an appointment on the waitlist 15 minutes before arriving on the website. The website specifically said Nocatee first watch, but when creating the appointment it directed us to winter garden first watch. We were told that we weren't on the nocatee list and had to wait 30-45 minutes. Nope! We selected the right place and it continually redirected us to the wrong place to set the waitlist. Food is amazing, please fix your website so others don't have to go to Dunkin as a last resort on a Saturday :( read more

What an incredible experience. My wife and I were finishing up moving into our new place in Nocatee and we were starving and our kitchen was not yet operational. We pulled into First Watch anxious for the quality food and wonderful service...20 min after closing time. The manager, Michael, took pity on us and served us still. Really thanks go out to the entire team as they delayed closing and some cleaning to let us eat. We were never hurried, and repeatedly we were checked on in a kind and compassionate manner. While I can't promise you'll get service so late after last call, I can confidently say you won't get better service anywhere in Nocatee. read more

We were seated and waited over 15 minutes before a server returned to our table to let us know that our drinks were on the way. We let him know that nobody had taken our order. We the waited another 20 minutes and all our food came out Luke warm at best. I ordered the biscuits and turkey gravy. It was awful. The gravy was cold and bland, my over easy eggs had hard yokes and were cold. The potatoes were also bland and cold. Just a poor dining experience overall. Also after we received our food, the server never returned to our table, we had to go request our ticket.
