Chilaquiles for breakfast -yum! 2 sunny side up eggs on top of tortilla chips, avocado slices with sliced chicken in a verde sauce. Sprinkled with feta crumbles. Black beans on the side. Hey a girl needs her fiber. Verde was perfect- flavorful but not overwhelming. Service was quick, attentive but not interruptive. Great way to start my day off. First and probably last visit. Nice job converting the old Boston Market. Food was overpriced and disappointing. Got the bacon and onion hash that was conspicuously missing bacon and onion. I enjoy First Watch because it's not fast food, it's near by, and it offers both healthy and heavier options. I enjoy the juice options a lot too. So far we have enjoyed pancakes, French toast, salads, sandwiches, and hash browns. Today we tried their take-out and it was good too. read more

Tasty menu with lots of variety, but I wish they offered any gluten-free bread options. Sure I can do as the waitress unhelpfully suggested and "just leave the bread off the omelets" but plenty of other restaurants (especially if they specialize in breakfast) have more gluten-free options. read more

I used to recommend this place but today's experience was pretty unacceptable. The waitress was good but the food was horrible. My eggs had huge pieces of egg shells in them and were incredibly watery. My waffle was a disappointment- cooked unevenly and tough to chew. They gave me new eggs which were so bad that even my boyfriend, who will eat almost anything, wouldn't eat them. They gave us the check as though nothing had happened. This is a breakfast restaurant and they served something full of egg shells that weren't even cooked correctly. I asked nicely if something could be done about the check considering what had happened and they took $2 off. Seriously? You served clearly inedible food (TWICE) and that's how you "fix" it? That's just insulting to your customers. I've worked at a restaurant before and I was shocked by that response. That's not how you handle a big mistake or how you treat your customers. After how that was handled, I'm not sure we'll return and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to others. It was bad enough that they apparently can't correctly cook eggs, out of all things, but it's even more outrageous that they'd choose to handle their clear mistake in such a poor manner. We went there for the first time for brunch on Saturday. I really love that this place supports local foods and has the goal of bridging foods from farm to table. I also really enjoyed that they try to provide healthier options. The menu had lots of choices. We got French toast and a blueberry pancake as well as tried a carrot cake pancake. I wasn't a fan of the carrot cake pancake but everything else was delicious. There were two drawbacks. I really didn't like our service- there was nothing really wrong with the server other than it was my own personal feeling. We could also constantly hear yelling from the chef coming from the kitchen. I understand you might hear that normally at any other fast pace breakfast serving places, but from time to time it was disturbing. Also, they had a free stand with coffee that you could pour yourself or take it to go but charged us twice for a pot of coffee at the table even though we didn't even touch the second pot - I found that ironic. read more

First time at First Watch. The experience was decent. Wait staff prompt, food was server quickly. I had the avocado hash but everything that came out of the kitchen looked well plated and of decent portions. The not so good: the coffee was very bitter no matter how much salt I poured in it. So at the end of the meal I asked for it to be stricken from the bill and was certainly obliged without haste or hassle. When I dine at a new place I like to give my FB to the manager/owner good or bad. When I mentioned to him that the meal was delicious but the coffee was not, he kinda got a little defensive. I mentioned that maybe the burner needed to be scaled but he indicated that they have process for that, and I believed him. He said the the beans they use are not supposed to be bitter, I also believe him. Then he thanked me for the FB and when he turned to walked away, then another customer next to me remarked that his coffee was bitter too. The manager/owner really perked up after that comment. No pun intended. Overall good breakfast but a little pricy. My meal was $14 for a plate of potatoes, some sliced avocado and two eggs with a side of bacon. If I added coffee with tip would have been about $20 read more

I have visited several First Watch locations and I always enjoy their menu options. It has always been a good experience. Until this visit. First, our table had ants. Lots of ants that were coming through the window, crawling all over the sugar dispenser, making their way to our kids hands. I get it. Ants can be a nusiance but it gave the appearance of the table not being cleaned. We told our server and he said "oh yeah, they come through the window". So, I cleaned our table with hand sanitizer and napkins. My daughter ordered eggs over medium, they were over easy. I was drinking unsweetened tea and asked for a to go tea. When I got in the car and took a drink, it was sweet tea. The last two would not be deal breakers, I know things get crazy and things happen. But, all that combined, we won't be back to this location. The server and cashier were both told about the ants and acted like we were bothering them. Not good customer service. read more

I was so excited to try First Watch. The atmosphere is fun, the decor is well thought out. I love the use of texture and mix of hard and soft materials. First look at the menu was promising. I had a difficult time deciding what to order... But I had a lot of time to decide--my group sat looking at the menu for ten minutes without seeing a waitress. When we finally got our order in, it took the girl 3 trips to bring 4 beverages to our table. The food was bland, bland, bland. My omelet was supposed to come with salsa and sour cream. There was no salsa, and only a microscopic amount of sour cream. My friends all agreed that their food was bland and unimpressive. The cashier looked surprised when I said we wanted to pay separate. The manager had to come over and take over from him. It took forever for the four of us to pay. Overall, terribly unimpressive. Doubt I'll go again. Bummer. read more

Disappointed. Weekday morning. Only one other table occupied. My Greek omelet: modest size omelet with only a touch of feta and other fillings; potatoes too salty to eat; English muffin cold. Waitress did not return until check was ready and I did not take the plate back to the kitchen. Someone was giving instructions to a bus-person at the next table rather than away from me in this nearly empty restaurant. The manager?/owner? at the register asked so I related my disappointment. Since I could not detect any concern, I fell the need to write this Yelp. Immediate imprvement is not likely of nobody cares. But perhaps in time the staff and management will learn their roles. The visit earned no stars but I'm giving it two stars recognizing that it is not now ready to serve a good breakfast but in anticipation of First Watch learning the craft of breakfast and lunch. read more

I've missed dining here (used to in another state) - so glad there is a local place for me again for breakfast. The restaurant is clean, seems to be ample parking and easy to get in and out of. Amazing brunch spot!!! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is fresh and delicious!! The service when we first got there was a little slow-I have a feeling since they're still pretty new they're working out the kinks. It took about 7-10 minutes before anyone introduced themselves and asked for our drink order, but the waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. I live near First Watch and its one of the few healthy-ish options in the area. The ingrediants are fresher than most similar restaurants and the menu more interesting. Service is fine and the decor is OK. It's becoming a go to spot of mine when I need something reasonably healthy during the day on the weekends. They offer a kale Juice concoction that was decent, maybe a little sweet. On the downside, it can get a little crowded, but Im still a fan. read more
